The pinkette shivered as she hugged herself and rubbed her arms a little. It was a cold day, she should have brought a sweater or a coat in order to keep her warm. Seeing someone familiar she started running in his direction she called his name.

In everything he said, the Lion was right. Arms crossed, eyebrows furrowed and teeth gritted; the large man wouldn’t deny his own disdain. “You’re right. He’s saying the truth but not saying anything!” He openly complained; a huff heaved from his nose in mild hostility.

Some guys around the guild were just like that. But none appeared more dishonest than their resident jackass. Elfman would have liked to believe the guy was still on their side; and would fight for the guild should the time come. But there was a lot of room to doubt that, too. “I can’t stand that.” That is, granted they were talking about the same person.
