Reñaca Alto in general is lacking in authority presence, even when everyone was surrounded by smoke and Villa Rukan in particular was on fire.

Apparently some people organized brigades and found out someone started the fire yesterday night, probably on photo, but I hope next time they're scuffed by the neck. No one has been caught by the police yet.

This is not a wealthy neighborhood, most of them are also elderly people with their pets, it's also close to mountains filled with forest and illegal settlements with people even poorer than those where I live.

Unlike previous forest fires, the Jardín Botánico (botanic garden) dissapeared, this was a very important green spot preserving many plants and animals
