A Valentine's present for my partner!

He has an AU headcanon where Usagi and Umino get together in the end, so I thought it would make for a sweet, very personal gift for a romantic holiday.

I wanted to branch out a bit more with the painterly style I've been experimenting with lately. It was a lot of work, but I think it came out okay!

I'm never sure about events because I don't know when I'll be able to commit, but I had too much fun this year with all the events not to repeat something similar next year.

Upcoming Events & Projects for 2024

Uh the only event I currently know about right now is Scottuary 2024… but I’m not sure how many events I will participate in next year if my hours stay like this at work. It’s been hard lately to find the time or the energy to write.

But I do have lots of WIPs:

- Wild (s6b dark thiam retelling) this ones probably the one I’ve had the longest and really want to update soon

- The Thiam Scream/Ghostface Sequel

- An Elevated Situation Sequel/Theo Wears Pink on Wednesdays - seeing as this was my Thiam Valentines fic I’m eyeing a similar release date

- another Theo wears pink one where Theo disappears after the showdown at the hospital and Liam searches for him, finding Theo working as a Go Go Dancer in a pink thong (this is just an excuse to write more smut) and I do have a moodboard I made for it a while back that if enough people shout at me I’ll release as a Xmas present on Xmas day

- Thiam + Parrish smut fic that I didn’t finish in time for Kinktober

- another unfinished Kinktober fic featuring Isaac/Theo/Liam

fic that made me smile: sunnysuguwu on ao3's ZoSan fic Chef's Kiss. This fic is so fucking funny I could not stop smiling while reading it XD

fic that made me cry: foxglove on ao3's Sanji fic cast your burdens out to sea (give them to me). It's very dark and realistic, but it's written so goddamn well, I'm constantly amazed. They haven't finished it yet, but I'm still enjoying it. Warning: the fic is about sexual assault and it gets pretty graphic, so be aware of that. But if that's something that you can handle, I definitely recommend checking this fic out

overall thoughts: I wrote A LOT of fics this year, most of them for events. The Year of Marwan challenge kicked my butt a lot, but I'm really proud of the works I created for it; Thursday's Child was my favorite fic I wrote this year and I wrote it for the June prompt. The big downside was that I ended up hardly working on any of my WIPs (particularly Snowblind). A year ago I thought I'd have Somewhere in Time finished before the year was out but tbh I barely worked on it. That'll be my goal for 2024: to get that fic done! XD Frankly, I might say no to most events this year just because I want to get those WIPs done, but I also want to work on my original book. And in terms of fanfic, I really want to write some One Piece fic this year lol Anyway, here's to more Mickey Miranda fic and maybe some OP rarepair fics for 2024~

I’ve come to make an announcement!

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I’m doing a prompt week, starting Monday(just to give y’all enough time to prepare)!

What’s the theme? Well, rarepairs! Around this time of year, the fanart space is often overrun with oversaturated fandom-favorite pairings and there’s rarely any room for the more underrated stuff! That’s why I’m hosting this week.

This week is primarily focused around the Undertale AU community, but plenty of other fandoms are welcome! Here are the prompts! (There are image descriptions in alt text)

But wait, there’s more!

Bonus prompts are entirely optional, and can either replace one of the main week prompts or be done afterwards! You decide!

now, let’s get to the important part, read these carefully;

THE RULES: -please @ me in art created for this project, I’m not gonna force you to but I’d appreciate it if you did -however, tag all posts with “#rarepair week 2024” in order to keep things organized! -Ok let’s get this out of the way, absolutely NO pro/ship or com/ship content. No incest, no pe/dophilia. If your ship ain’t legal, it ain’t allowed. -No ship-bashing. If someone’s pairing is legal and ethical, don’t dog on them for it. I also don’t want any discourse on whether or not a pairing is abusive, if someone isn’t adhering to canon and isn’t portraying it in an unhealthy way, they don’t need flack for it. -On that note, no romanticizing abuse either. None of that. -I can’t believe I have to say this, but rarepairs only! Of course what constitutes as a rarepair is subjective, but if it’s a pairing you see very often or is considered the standard for those given characters, it’s not allowed.
