somethingsomething if preventative medicine proved to BJ that he couldn’t protect Hawkeye from himself, and period of adjustment proved to BJ that Hawkeye couldn’t be protected from BJ’s emotions either... then how might BJ feel as someone who’s been taking on a role as his protector and stability?

Very WIP Weapons
So, I’m working on the short sword’s stone set of part models, and I thought I’d share, mostly because I feel like it.  Here’s the start, and then also the sprite parts that I’m emulating from my Magitek build for comparison.  Which honestly just makes me miss the old sprites to a degree.  Xp

Honestly, I don’t think I’m going to do much better quality than the blade presently is for the short term.  Like, yes, I want my game to be pretty, but I also kind of need *some* assets to exist to really get it to a point where it’s worth playing, so it’ll be a bit of back and forth.  As the game becomes more interesting to play, then I can start working on improving graphical fidelity.  Can I do better in a decent amount of time?  *Sure*, but I also need to make animations, program the entire item-gen system, work on an inventory system, and I also rather early in want to get at least 4 more weapons (Axe, Spear, Mace and Rifle) and shields.  Why yes, rifles are indeed something that have been invented.  And...  I *think* they are going to be simpler to implement than bows, as I have *plans* for bows.  Like...  Rifles are going to be the first animated weapons, bows are probably going to require some procedural animation, so I’m going to wait until after I do spiders at least before bows, as spiders are where I’m going to learn that.

it’s really hard as a girl who likes girls to not get upset when I hear straight people say something like “I’ll never have a chance with my [straight] crush”
like, do you know what I would give to have as much of a chance as you?
a majority of the time, my crushes aren’t even into me because I’m a girl, so you know, at least you have that going for you.  I’m perpetually in the loop of “I have a crush, but she’s probably straight and it’s not really casual to ask if she’s not”.
It would be nice to even feel like I had a sliver of a chance sometimes. But I don’t. I don’t think I’ve ever once felt like I had a chance.

I just recognized that despite how much I hate all the work and never feeling ready for anything and oh my gosh the labs, I'm learning so much. I'm at that "university student" level in my life which is super impressive. I'm learning about things that are just being discovered. They're starting to stop (essentially) lying to us about what is really happening in science, we're learning the real thing, not the dumbed down version. To be a part of a university is amazing guys. Universities are where knowledge is being made. Not just taught. Profs are researching and wow that's just really cool. The work is insane. Yes. Absolutely. But it's really amazing too. We are learning about discoveries that our parents don't even know exist. And that's pretty cool to me.

not that i want to be an outcast, a hipster who thinks they're cool because they listen to bon iver, or an emo who defends pop punk and hot topic with her last breathe.
i just want to sit at home and watch good television and read good books and drink good tea.
is there a clique for that?

Hey Guys. Look. WEEK TWO AND I DIDN'T FORGET.
You guys have no idea how close I came to forgetting that Sunday is My Day To Blog (yes, the parenthesis were completely necessary).
So.  I guess I should update you guys on my life and stuff, which I just did not do at all last week, because I was so tired.  Which I am today too, but whatever.
Um.  I'm a senior in high school now.  I'm not really all that interesting; still working myself to the bone for my theatre department, still in church choir, still reading anything I can get my hands on.  I'm in a show that opens in about two and a half weeks that my friends wrote based on a concept album by Mike Lombardo called The Alchemist, and it's SO COOL.  Everyone should buy the album, because it's absolutely fantastic.  Here's the link:  http://dftba.com/product/xt/The-Alchemist-Pre-Order-Ships-July-5  It's only 6 dollars and it's AWESOME music.
I'm applying for colleges.  Bleh.  Bleh.  Bleeeeeeeeh.  <- That's how I feel about it.  I'm taking some pretty hard classes this year, AP Biology and AP Government, Honors PreCalculus and Honors British Literature, plus my theatre classes.  I might explode by the end of the semester.  I'll try not to make too big of a mess, but no promises.
I guess something that's cool and fun to talk about is my show.  It's probably my favorite show I've ever been involved with, mostly because it's such a fun and nurturing atmosphere.  The script was written by two of my best friends, and now they're directing it, and I have to say, they're doing a fantastic job.  There's a lot of people who are doubting that a couple of seniors can direct an entire show without any help from the teachers, but I honestly do think it's going to be amazing.  For the past week we've been learning the music and such.  There's some really cool harmonies that we made up and stuff.  I've already really gotten to know everyone in the cast, and I like all of them, which is surprising because I just don't like people in general.  It's been a really enriching experience so far and I can't wait for the next two and a half weeks.
I honestly have no idea what to talk about... Plus, I have like, three essays to do (damn AP classes.)  Sooooo... see you next week, guys.

i dont get what the big deal is though.
for the most part, people who are generic christians who just blindly believe in their faith without knowing much about it would just automatically associate the st. peters cross with satan and shit so its kinda accepted as an anti-religious symbol for most uneducated people. i know that the inverted CRUCIFIX is way more anti-religious/satanic than just the cross, but for the most part its just kinda implied that its not meant to be religious, is it not? i mean did most people know that it wasnt actually technically~ NOT anti-religious? probably not. people are going to keep thinking its anti-religious if they want to and people are going to keep trying to correct people so..
