Random TFP headcanons Part 1 (mostly humans)

Raf is deaf in one ear and has a cochlear implant

Jack is transmasc

Miko is ADHD

Raf is Autistic

Miko at one point tried to cut her own hair

Needless to say, it did not turn out well

Jack has a genetic mutation that causes naturally sharper canines

Yes, several vampire jokes were made about this

Raf has dirt on EVERYBODY at school, and is not afraid to use it

Along with the guitar, Miko is pretty good on a drum set

Jack is frequently called emo

Miko used to bite kids in kindergarten

Raf has skipped several grades and is currently a sophomore in duel enrollment

Jack's parents had split custody until Jack's dad just didn't come to pick him up and stopped paying child support

June tried to track down her ex-husband, but to no evail

The kids see Optimus as a father figure, and he is not going to tell them otherwise

Bumblebee is Ratchet and Optimus's unofficially adopted son

Raf will behave like a creature from the pits of the underworld if he feels safe

The bots and sleeping ramble

So I mainly have TFP in mind when I say this but do you think the bots like, freaked out at all when the humans first fell asleep around them?

I know Cybertronians have sleep cycles or something similar to sleeping (I think i've heard the terms "powering down" and "stasis lock/nap" but I'm still fairly new to transformers terminology so feel free to correct me). So they're not unfamiliar with the idea of resting for a certain amount of time to regain strength. But did they assume humans did too?

Probably yes. However I think it would be really funny if they didn't think about the idea of humans sleeping like they do.

Imagine Jack absolutely conked out on the couch after a long day and Ratchet's like "OHMYPRIMUS HE'S DEAD??" and Raf has to explain humans sleep when they're exhausted and during the night too. Or Miko taking a nap while Bulkhead's driving her somewhere and he's freaking out because Miko won't respond to him. Then she just lets out the loudest, ungodliest dad snore ever.

Wait that makes me think, the bots probably didn't know what snoring was either. Miko or Fowler are most likely where the bots heard it first, both of them seem like they'd knock a house down with their snores.

Bee is a great character in transformers prime because it captures a balance for his type of character that shows sometimes (often) struggle with. In fact, tfp struggles with this with its other characters that fall under the same naive scrappy ruffian umbrella (looks at Miko. Looks at smokescreen.) Bee is the kid of the group. A little reckless, very naive, gets into trouble. But they successfully offset this by making him very resourceful and most importantly: incredibly observant. Which on top of rounding out his character well, also serves as great development to his role as the scout. It makes sense that he'd be the one to notice things when others don't. That's his job and he is so good at it and I am proud of him :]

As for the second point,, all the bots understand bumblebee. It's the humans who don't know what he is saying. I like the theory that bee communicates using emps instead of the standard audio waves-- though it doesn't explain why Raf can understand him.

I so understand why ppl like making content where Jon and Daisy are friends but have you considered the fact that um. They wouldn't be.

#raf's rambles #akdjqjd okay I'm not gonna be mean abt people's fanon (even though I often am whoops)#but. Yeah.#the way people portray Daisy in general is kinda weird #but like. What makes Daisy a good character is the fact that she's not good!!!#what she's done! Unjustifiable! And she knows it!! And instead of wallowing in that. She tries to be better. And she doesn't ask #for the people she hurt to forgive her #she's trying to be better for the sake of being better! Not to be 'redeemed' in the eyes of better. Not to 'make up' for what she's done #not to undo her badness. But to work towards something better bc she wants to be #The thing that makes Jon and Daisy interesting it's that. They are the only two characters in the show that understand what it means #to be part of an entity. That I feel like is why Jon; even if he didn't forgive her; was still civil and willing to help her #because he understands her. And she understands him.#but they aren't friends. He's uncomfortable around her; I think that much is clear #She /scares/ him. He said he never felt more hopeless than when she dragged him to the forest to kill him. She was proud to show off the #new scar she left on him. He wouldn't be friends with her!!!!#and she wouldn't ASK for his friendship either!! She wouldn't expect that from him!!! She wouldn't /want/ that from him #bc she understands that she's hurt him!! And she can't take that back!!! But she can convince him to get out of his office w her and Basira #and she can try to make herself less of a threatening presence. And she can be civil #and yeah idk this is getting away from me but yeah they wouldn't be friends #and honestly!!
