Das war die erste Wohnung, in der ich wohnte, nachdem ich von Zuhause ausgezogen bin. Vom Reihenhaus in der Kleinstadt direkt in die Kurfürstenstrasse, Vorderhaus, zweiter Stock. In der Wohnung lebte vorher einmal Walter Benjamin, was mir erst bewusst wurde, als nach ein paar Jahren früh morgens einmal ein ganzes Radioteam vor der Tür stand um sich die Speisekammer anzusehen. Ich wollte mir die Hausnummer immer mal tätowieren lassen und bin bis heute, aus welchem Grund auch immer, nie dazu gekommen. ( Manch einer mag sich vielleicht mehr darüber wundern, dass die Wohnung eine eigene Speisekammer hatte, aber das beste war eigentlich die Höhe von 1.70m meines Badezimmers, da darüber eine ehemalige Dienstbodenkammer lag. Ein kleiner Raum der so niedrig war, dass man nur darin liegen konnte. An dieser Stelle einen Kuss an alle Freunde, die sich regelmäßig in meinem Zwergenbadezimmer den Kopf an der Decke stießen.) Wer noch mit mir in dieser Wohnung wohnte: Mein Onkel, den ich in Jahren nur zwei mal dort schlafen sah, ein Juniordozent der die meiste Zeit am Rudergerät in seinem Zimmer verbrachte, eine Dozentin die es hasste, wenn ich in die Blumenerde auf dem Balkon aschte. Das war die erste Wohnung in der meine Knochen sich Nacht für Nacht dem Erwachsen werden entgegen streckten und meine Freunde mit schallendem Lachen, zitternden Mundwinkeln oder Bleich vor Schock durch die Haustür traten. Ich habe nach dieser Wohnung in vielen anderen gewohnt, manchmal Jahre, manchmal nur vier Wochen. Wenn man mir ab und zu die Frage stellt, wo ich mich zuhause fühle, denke ich immer, ausnahmslos, an diese Wohnung zurück, mit den Bädern, der Speisekammer, dem Durchgangszimmer, ihrem ganz eigenen Geruch, dem Wintergarten, dem Balkon, den endlosen Fluren, dem winzigen Kühlschrank, dem Stuck an den Decken, den undichten Fenstern. Als ich dort auszog, passte alles, was ich besaß, in 2 Umzugskartons. Wenn ich mich heute an diese Wohnung zurück erinnere, passen die Erinnerungen für gewöhnlich in mehr als 2 Umzugskartons.

Im November gehts rund. Hier findet auch einer der Höhepunkte des Fadinger Medienkalenders statt: Das Youki Filmfestival. In diesem Jahr sind wir nicht nur mit dem Radioteam dabei, sondern auch mit den zwei erfolgreichsten Filmen des letzten Schuljahres “Mannegreen” und “Vollpfosten”. Obwohl Neuland für das Team der 4C, präsentierten sich die Newcomer wie alte Hasen! Großartig!

Post Bronner Brothers Mixer and Vendor Showcase Featuring World Renowned Hair Loss Surgeon Dr. Yates

Universal Salon Suites (USS) had their 2nd Annual Post Bronner Brother’s Mixer this Sunday Feb. 12, 2017.

USS featured Hair Loss Surgeon Dr. Yates “Royal Remedy” product line (from Chicago, Illnois), with live product demonstrations by Atlanta Celebrity Hair Stylists Ms. Willa World, and Jaylon Aaron.

This year USS has also added a Vendor Showcase with special guest appearances by CliffVMir, and Terrance Davidson.

Located at The Universal Salon Suites/The Marke’ Venue 1210 Fowler Ave, NW, Atlanta, Ga 30318,  the showcase also had a Live Remote Broadcast by #Streetz945 Morning RadioTeam, other various product demonstrations, giveaways, and of course there was delicious food!
