My brain is melted and coming out of my ears. I am beyond overwhelmed. This is such an incredible thing. A thing that so many people have reached out and helped us with. Every tiny bit of help mattered. I just… woof. This is so much.
Guys. @queerliblib is funded. This is real. We’re gonna have a real, honest to gosh, library.
You all did it. You did it for us. 💜
Z.
P.S. A super, super special shout-out to @thebibliosphere who went SO far above and beyond to get the word out and mobilize people. Holy moly. Thank you, Joy. You are a wonder.

I don't read enough to complete this probably (esp since I don't read comics lol), but it might be fun to track
I'm going to say I read The City We Became by NK Jemisin this month (I can't remember) just because it knocks out gay mc, black+queer mc, and two-spirit character (I think bronca ids as two-spirit??? I could be wrong). Hopefully I'll get the second book in soon and it'll knock out more aaa
The first two books in the Murderbot Diaries series check off novella, sci-fi, non-binary mc, and very tentatively I'm going to count it as queer parents/guardians. very tentatively.

Another bingo for me. For a book with an intersex mc I read An Unkindness of Ghosts by Rivers Solomon. A heavy book but also beautiful. I bought this copy a long time ago and waited for the perfect moment to read it.

For Latine and queer MC I read Fevered Star by Rebecca Roanhorse and it was so so good. It's a fantasy based on a pre-columbian world, I can't express how much it means to me to see it realized in this fashion. It's the second book in the series, the first being Black Sun. I recommend both of them highly.
In another note I want to thank @queerliblib for using Latine instead of Latinx. As a Spanish speaker myself, Latine just makes more sense...even while we are grouping a large amount of people with differing histories and cultures. It does the job better.

Was reading a slow nonfiction book the last few days, but I picked up As You Walk on By by Julian Winters for gay main character and finished it in a day. Very fun high school story about choosing your friends and making them family and living inside others expectations. Definitely worth the read if you need something fun and not dark.

I forgot to post this the other day because I finished the picture book tile while waiting to get a tattoo.
I read a few picture books:
Heather has two mommies by Lesléa Newman
A house for everyone by Jo Hurst
Jamie is Jamie by Afsaneh Moradian
The boy & the bindi by Vivek Shraya
A church for all by Gayle E Pitman

So a big dump of books.
Mystery/thriller: The Verifiers by Jane Pek
Romance or rom-com: the Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich by Deya Muniz
Trans MC: Dreadnought by April Daniels @msaprildaniels
That makes two more bingos for me.

Forgot to post this on Tuesday. The sports book I read was Running with Lions by Julian Winters. This is the second book I read by him this summer.

For AAPI and queer mc I read Darius the Great Deserves Better by Adib Khorram and it was so so good. Better than the original because it was strong all the way through. Maybe I'm overly emotional but I choked up so much in this story.

Yep I finished another book for this challenge! For sci-fi/fantasy I read Runes of Fall by AK Faulkner. It's full of magic and adventure and it's hella queer, always an instant buy when the next book in the series comes out. Buy there are 7 but it's a very fast read.
