GW2 OC List (Main Characters)

just my core five characters :D

Belial Soulshatter (They/Them) -

- Necromancer - Commander of The Pact - ratbastard - Clever - Great story teller (exaggerates just a bit) - pain in Trahearne’s ass - funny uncle energy Belial can seem quite aloof, as if they don’t truly care, but make no mistake, they do. Always looking to joke around or tease, Belial will pull through when you need them most. Formerly a Grand Magister in the Priory, Belial spent most of their years studying ancient magic and lost deities. They lost a member of their krewe against Zhaitan. Before the krewe disbanded, they all came together to bring their lost friend’s last golem blueprints to life. Belial keeps in contact with their ex-krewe members still. Early in their adult life they met a Slyvari woman named Ren who was deeply curious about Asura tech. Absolutely in love with how invested Ren was in their krewe’s projects and Belial’s personal workshop, they eventually fell in love. Ren and Belial share a home in Metrica Province, just outside of Rata Sum. Belial’s closest friends are Louis and Canach. Belial is the Asuran equivalent of 52 years old by EoD.

Louis Ebonpromise (He/Him) -

- Mesmer - Grand Magister - Trahearne’s closest friend - Aurene’s Champion - momfriend - Married to Pyrs - His hair color is a natural occurrence, but as a Mesmer, few believe him. Orphaned when his village of few was razed by raiders at the age of five, Louis was adopted by the Ebonpromise family. They gave their all to help him repair and settle into his new life. Louis has been curious about Slyvari and Mesmer magic from the moment he heard about both of them. Just about ten years old when The Pale Tree began truly taking root, his mother and older brother took him to see it. These interests persist to this day. His motivation to learn Mesmer magic stems from a want to protect others. Confusing and buying time for others, the illusions and disguises, all to keep the ones he loves safe. He met Pyrs as a Vigil recruit through Belial’s Order Integration Program trials. His family believe that his unnatural hair color is one last gift from Lyssa to him. Most don’t believe that it’s always been that color. The only physical thing Louis does glamour, is the scarring on his left leg. In his late 30s, his damaged leg begins to give him trouble. Initially declining when Aurene offered the gift of her branding to him and Caithe, seeing Aurene now, the sole elder dragon with no one but her champion and the Crystal Bloom, he asked her to brand him hoping it would mean he wouldn’t have to leave her. Her branding left him with iridescent skin, prismatic eyes and a streak of holographic coloration to his hair. (Alongside the typical effects of Aurene’s brand.) Louis’ closest friends are Trahearne and Belial. Louis is 40ish years old during EoD.

Pyrs Ebonpromise (He/Him) -

- Revenant - Warmaster - Sugyn’s brother - Married to Louis - Close friends with Branthyn - Kind but stern when needed; He got it from Laranthir - Adores Louis and dotes on him often Originally a nervous outcast in The Grove, Pyrs has become a fierce and reliable Warmaster since Modremoth’s downfall. His climb of the ranks was slow but steady. Dedicated to protecting the ones he loves, and innocent lives he is sworn to The Vigil. In his recruit years, the voices began, and they could easily overwhelm him. With Louis’ help he found ways to cope with the whispers he heard from the mists. The two friends that have stood by him from the start are Sugyn and Branthyn. Branthyn mentored and trained him. He and Louis live in The Grove. He studied Lyssian marriages before proposing to Louis. By Louis’ side in life, death and the unknown, Pyrs joined the Crystal Bloom and requested branding from Aurene after Louis told him about what he wanted. Pyrs is 9 years old during EoD.

Sugyn(He/Her) -

- Thief - Lightbringer - Pyrs’ sibling - Treats her order like a 9-5 job - Laranthir’s lover - Quiet Following her wyld hunt from the moment she awoke, Sugyn headed straight for thievery and the Order of Whispers. She was trained by her mentor, a gruff and roughened elder Blood Legion-deserter Charr named Lutheria. Sugyn took to the order’s ways quickly, earning Lutheria’s respect quite quickly as well, certainly fast for Lutheria. Lutheria tends to treat Sugyn like her child, and she would do anything to keep her from unnecessary pain. Protective gruff mother tendencies include, making it clear to Laranthir that if he hurt Sugyn, she would repay the favor. Being born of the night cycle, quieter, and a thief, meant that not many other saplings at the time trusted or liked Sugyn. She was a bit of a loner before the Orders, The Pact, and meeting Pyrs. Despite actually being older than Pyrs, she’s more of a younger sister to him. Sugyn and Laranthir grew close during the campaign against Mordremoth and the aftermath. Sugyn is 12 years old during EoD.

Maelgwyn “The Desert Beast” (He/Any) -

- Ranger - Bounty Hunter - Elonian - Trahearne’s lover - feral - 404s when receiving genuine affection - Braham’s drinking buddy - despises krytan weather and colder climates Hired by Belial as a guide through the Crystal Desert to make finding Balthazar easier. He is a mostly stoic man who is revered and widely known in Elona. He spent the first decade of his life fighting tooth and nail for any stability or safety. His appearance lent to him being treated like either an Avatar of Balthazar sent to raze the unworthy, or simply a monster. Taller than most Norn and far too close to Mordrem and the Nightmare Court in stature and coloration, he began bounty hunting as a way to gain a reputation that preceded his appearance. Earning the title of “The Desert Beast,” he wraps himself in the image so many have of him, to hide away his real self. The stoic yet confident and flirtatious image has kept him safe with so many fearing and respecting him. No one knows his real name, except for one. The Commander and their company were perplexed to learn he had no memory of The Grove or The Pale Tree. When he refused to elaborate they presumed he was a situation like Malyck. His closest companion is his tiger Paola, and griffin Glenn. He has a mild commitment to Kormir, as her worshipers healed his wounds just after he awoke, confused and staggering to the temple. He trained in combat with the few sunspears still at the temple. He awoke a year before the Pale Tree woke her firstborn children. Maelgwyn is 34 years old during EoD. I LOVE. how creative I am. I mean I constantly bounce between like five different hobbies and I just love looking at the things I’ve created and feeling proud of myself and remembering how much fun I had making the thing! plus, my art has helped me connect with so many people and has helped so many people and that’s just. ahh. so rad!!

virgo: what’s your #1 pet peeve?

I HAVE TO NAME JUST ONE? LMAO. honestly i think i’ll have to say when people are not aware of their surroundings—whether that’s people walking too slowly in front of me or someone just standing like a dummy in the middle of the aisle/sidewalk like buddy come on people have to Go Here.

libra: describe your dream partner.

my dream partner is patient, funny, handsome, supportive, excited, and understanding! he also has been dating me for over five years. :^)

scorpio: do you trust easily?

this is an interesting one. I... don’t think so? and that’s not because I expect people to hurt me, I just have a lot of walls and a front I tend to put up until I’m close with someone. and scorpio is my dominant sign so hey that’s fitting. I can’t always rationally tell whether or not I’m vibing with someone, but if I notice myself struggling to be myself or behave like I normally would because of my protective walls, I know they’re not a good fit for me. (also this isn’t because I’m not friendly or outgoing, it just takes a minute for people to get to know me a bit deeper. asndgntdn i’m overexplaining lol)

sagittarius: if you could travel to any place in the world, where would it be?

bro uh. you know i see why people romanticize traveling a lot, it’s supposed to be this really revealing experience—and I did get to study abroad in college, and it was a powerful and introspective experience—but now that I’m older and have a job and medications and illnesses and disabilities I just don’t know how feasible traveling would be for me. THAT BEING SAID: it’s on my bucket list to spend a few nights to a week in a cabin with paints and books and just fucking chill.

capricorn: what’s your dream job?

currently my goal is to become an adolescent therapist, but if that doesn’t flesh out, something else in the realm of social work or accessibility. and obviously I want enough time and energy to keep making art!

aquarius: do you believe in aliens?

scientifically, yeah! there has got to be intelligent life out there. spiritually, yes! I tend to think of deities as higher-vibrational creatures that can interact with us—similar to spirits and ghosts.

pisces: describe someone you love.

my mom is nerdy and gets excited about small things, from glitter to videogames. she has almost as many tattoos as me, and almost all of them are geeky references. she and i are both traumatized and chronically ill in similar ways, which I think has strengthened our relationship in my adulthood. though, I was always close with her—she always made sure to support whoever we were as children and teens and give us the resources we needed to succeed. :’)

lazy nonbinary wearing nothing but sweaters as they wait for surgery lol

no—and in fact, it took me some time and a fair amount of therapy to be able to access my own anger after leaving an abuser. (though I DO get annoyed easily, see the question about pet peeves lolol)

venus: what’s your aesthetic?

i..... what the fuck is my aesthetic outside of my style. what does this mean. raw art, forests, sunsets, rain, i guess???

mercury: what color do you talk in?

green. sometimes, orange! other times, deep sea blue. but usually green.

jupiter: what moral do you live by?

be the best version of you that you can be, listen to the messages the universe sends you, and enjoy your life. be kind to others.

saturn: what’s your biggest fear?

living a dull, unhappy life and not making the most out of the life I have. making decisions out of fear and not going anywhere.

uranus: are you rebellious?

ok so not needlessly so, but whenever it comes to rules I think are dumb as shit, yes. yes. I was the kid in high school who got straight A’s but talked back to the subs when they were being unreasonable lol. I just tend to think “well I’ll do this my own way” when I don’t like something.

neptune: share one of your dreams.

I want to live in a brick house. I think they are so cute. I want a window nook seat, and a tower/fun shaped attic where a library can be—I want a yard for my doggy and a space for me to paint.

pluto: what’s the biggest thing you’ve learned by far in your life?

people are healing.

lilith: do you have any guilty pleasures?

sure! I like to imbibe in some drink or smoke and zone into a dumb videogame every once in a while.

i broke my nose as a child!

I used to be, now I think of myself more as a mentor and friend than the mom friend. being the mom is exhausting.

pallas: do you have a good relationship with your parents?

my mom, yes!

of course! not just romantic soul mates—there are many different kinds.

yes! most of the time, lol. until i am outside and constantly looking over my shoulder because ptsd has eaten my brain

probably my laptop because of all the stuff on it, art programs, etc.

yesss!! see above with my book suggestions. I’m working on Dune right now.

cozy! half messy, half not. we still have boxes we need to unpack at the foot of our bed, but I’ve decorated my dresser with a lot of memorable items—my necklace tree, photos, instax, we have a couple plants, oh and my altar is in here too!

6th house: do you participate in community service?

not currently—while I like the idea of it, I feel like I don’t have the time or battery level with commissions and art and working full time and working out and taking care of a dog.

man I don’t like this one, every zodiac sign has its ups and downs and further, combinations of zodiac signs are what make people truly unique—not to mention peoples’ life experiences!

yes, absolutely!

not to be boring but I don’t think I have one, and I don’t really want to pull one out of my ass for the sake of answering this question. :(

surprisingly yes! I’ve got a good blend of professional and cracking the occasional joke.

lmao tonight i hung out with my partner and her date and after a movie i was like “i’m gonna be a party pooper and go to bed and by go to bed I mean get on my bed and draw while listening to music” so yes, I sure do like being alone.

· Kuroo would take advantage of your height and tease you all the time, nothing too relentless or hurtful, just little, playful teases while standing to his full height and leaning back further and further as you continuously try to kiss him, and if he ever did accidentally insult you, he’d apologize right away and snuggle all the insecurities away.

· Kuroo isn’t unfamiliar with noise, he has Bokuto as a friend, after all. He’d love to listen to your voice, so be as loud as you want! He’d find pleasure in hearing you rant or fangirl! He’d sit and listen for hours, just to hear your voice.

· Looks aren’t really a deciding factor for this boy, but he’s definitely not complaining, he loves how young you look! He adores all your lively features and compliments you daily, always kissing your cheek as he does so. He’s the kind of sap to just get lost in you, gazing lovingly at you from across the room as you get ready for the day together.

· You two are similar when it comes to being the parental friend. Kuroo has his team to look after and the new addition of Lev revealed a whole new level of fatherly tendencies and behavior. You and he would undoubtedly be dubbed “Mom and Dad” of the Nekoma volleyball club and watch over all the younger members.

· Kuroo would love to see you teach some poor fool their place, but if you get too fired up, he’d gently wrap his arm around your waist and start pulling you in the opposite direction, all the while chuckling fondly. Same when you get too impatient, he’d silently pull you into his side and caress your arm to distract you as you two wait.

· He’d honestly sleep right there along with you during free time or whenever, really. Kuroo is practically a cat as it is, he’d have no problem cuddling you to his chest, snuggling you in under his chin and getting some shut-eye.

· He’d love to sit back and watch you play your video games or even join in if you’d have him. You’d have so many competitions, and don’t put it past him to play dirty! He’d try all kinds of different techniques, tickling you, blocking your view, playful shoving, anything to distract you from your mission, and he’d defend his actions by smirking and declaring “All’s fair in love and war, love.”

· He’d love to watch you draw, as well. He’d be right over your shoulder, resting his head on you as he watches you place each stroke carefully and with great patience. He’d be enraptured with your calm determination as you effortlessly paint what he’d deem a masterpiece. He’d buy you all the supplies you’d ever want and even a graphics tablet if you decided to go digital. He’d ask your permission to hang the pieces all over his room, so he could look at them and think of you even during the infrequent and short times you are apart.

· Kuroo is a bookworm when it comes to science, as well. He’d enjoy studying late into the night with you.

· He wouldn’t force you to play volleyball if you really didn’t want to, but he’d love to share his second love with you, if you’d allow him. He wouldn’t care if you weren’t the best at the sport, he’d be so very happy and content if he could just share his dream with the love of his life.

· He’d push you to not procrastinate so much, for fear you’d stress yourself out when the workload gets too much or you have no choice but to rush. He’d have little work sessions throughout the week, much like your study sessions, where you get together to work on whatever needs to be worked on and he’d slowly push you to complete the work earlier in the week, before the due date, and he’d bait you to keep it that way by taking you out on the weekends you’d usually wouldn’t have open if you had procrastinated. He’d reward you for your hard work that week with movie nights, dinner dates, and the like.

· Kuroo loves food, as well. He’d take you out to a nice restaurant for a lovely, romantic dinner or, if you prefer, you two would stay in and fix a nice dinner together, but watch out, Kuroo would likely eat the ingredients needed whenever you turn away. You’d be explaining the recipe as you move away and when you turn around, he’d have a half-eaten carrot in his mouth as he stared frozen at you with big, innocent eyes, daring you to blame and reprimand him even as the evidence was so very obviously there.

Kirishima Ejirou is your sunshine!

-Kirishima likes a cheerful and noisy environment. Your voice, music, people chatting…he feels at ease, it means people are alive and happy around him. He’s the type who screams from the balcony to greet you when you arrive home or to join you from the living room when you sing under the shower. If you get excited and scream, probably he’ll get excited too and make as much noise as you do. (Bakugou sometimes has to threaten the two of you to shut the fuck up)

-He loves that you’re so small! It means he can easily hug, carry, poke and tickle you as much as he wants. He loves draping himself over you and nuzzling against your neck.

-The only moment he appreciates quietness is when you are sleeping against his chest and he can stare at your calm, beautiful face. He stays still, rubbing soothing circles on your hip or brushing gently your hair.

-You both love eating and that’s fantastic because you don’t have to be shy about how hungry you are. Things get more complicated when there’s only one slice of pizza left: tickle and pillow fights ensue.

-He likes to be a gentleman and to pay for your food, but if you insist sometimes he lets you share the bill.

-You’ve fun cooking together, even if neither of you is really good at it. You try new, strange mixture of ingredients or play with the food. Playing around in the kitchen is a must-do for you.

-You’re the first one he searches for when he doubts himself or get stressed about hero-things. He feels better when he has your opinion about it too and trusts your advice completely. Obviously, he’s also there for you when you need him and tries his best to be of help: he gets very firm and serious when you blame yourself for failing at something or for a mistake; cuddles and kisses arrive only after you’ve recognized you’re worth even when making mistakes and it’s not a catastrophe.

-Kirishima being a ball of energy who wants to do, do and do, you really don’t have the time to procrastinate! Even when you’re not in the mood, he bribes you or stays with you whatever you’re doing and motivates you with food or kisses. He doesn’t like to force you, but he knows how stressed you get when you procrastinate too much.

-Thank goodness you’re book smart because he needs someone to help him. Between you and Bakugou, he arrives at the end of the semester with (soon or less) ease. Sometimes he feels very stupid for not being “brilliant like you, SO!” so you have to scold him or kiss his worries away that he’s not stupid and even if he has difficulties studying he has many other perks.

-He likes dragging you out to do sports! He knows you’re horrible at it, yet he doesn’t care. Krishna just enjoys being there with you and trying to teach you how to play, joking and playing around. He also thinks that it’s the perfect excuse for a bit of skin-to-skin contact. Half of the times you end up rolling in the grass and laughing.

-He’s protective of you, even if he knows perfectly that you can kick ass by yourself. He’d never admit it but the first time he saw you angry he felt intimidated (and a bit turned-on).

-Your video gaming nights get heated quickly. When Bakugou joins you, everyone in the Dorm doesn’t sleep ‘cause they can hear your yells and curses as if they were in the room.
