"Why won't everybody just believe everything I believe?"-I would say will the episode proceed to teach Riley about religious freedom and different religions, but we all know this episode proceeds to have Corey also join in on cornering Maya and Farkle into believing what Riley and her family believe, so um, a line that would lead to character development is just used to enforce Riley's belief's as being right and her friends as being wrong.

#pretty sure corey is breaking teacher rules there btw #aka enforcing belief's onto his students #like yeah think we see where riley gets it from now #especially as riley gets her way at the end as maya now believes and shit #and its just....sigh #so many bad secondary school memories from this episode #not only the whole um teacher acting like me not believing fully cause my grandad died despite me praying #was a time to be like 'but have you considered-'#but also the time a teacher got mad a student for not partaking in mass singing because different religion #and despite the school welcoming students of different faiths that teacher still got mad #plus uh the school wasnt great with lgbt+ stuff
