The Bad Batch S3 Trailer PART 1
So, I've been watching the crappish, bootleg, audience-recorded version of The Bad Batch S3 trailer. I straightened it, enlarged it, cleaned it up a bit. Then I took photos of every scene, and will analyze here...

We open with a shuttle...
...escorted by TIE (V-Wing?) Fighters...
...arriving at a blue planet.
Pretorian Guards disembark, followed by The Emperor.
Not sure who these folks are, but that's a ray-shielded door at the back.
Emperor walking along, Stormtroopers (?) behind.
Hemlock (f*cker) apparently walking along with Emperor.

Now... it's implied that those opening shots are the Emperor arriving on Weyland to visit the facility on Mount Tantiss.
But that blue planet is NOT Weyland.
It's possible that the shuttle and fighters are not escorting the Emperor as we are meant to believe.
The blue planet looks an awful lot like Kamino.... Possibly, (hopefully) it's a flashback to Crosshair finally being rescued from that platform after 32 rotations. (Wishful thinking. I really want an episode of what Cross went through.)

My Deep Rock Galactic Survivor Demo review as of 05.10.23 :)
•Core Gameplay:
Definitely interesting to say the least.
The game description calls it a "reverse bullet hell" and it is not entirely wrong. In this game you cannot aim, hell, you can't even control WHEN you fire your gun or throw a grenade, if an enemy is near, a comically large bullet will come out of your crotch and propel itself towards the nearest Bug.
Your goal here is to go in, mine gold, nitra and other minerals, get XP and kill a "boss" type enemy
The whole deal of the game is "go in, loot, go further down, die and use the resources you got on general upgrades in the main menu" I have no problem with this, except for the fact that the minimap and bonus objectives only get unlocked after at worst two runs.
The resources do stay with you even when you fail tho.
As of the current Demo, the only character available is the scout, and despite being the quick and nimble one, the default move speed is way too slow, and only after around two speed upgrades it becomes bearable. I can't even imagine what classes like Driller or Gunner will feel like.
WEPONS
Scouts wepon selection is also far from brilliant, the current wepons are NOT powerfull enaugh to deal with the enemy crowds and they very obviously lack the AOE that is almost required for hordes at even Haz1, the only decent one due to its piercing is the m1000, and it has a slow fire rate whitch makes it unreliable, most wepons fall off hard by the second mission if you aren't collecting every piece of XP, whitch is hard enaugh because of
the ENEMIES
the game just keeps throwing enemies at you endlessly, and if you just happen to focus on mining or moving, they can pile up very quickly into clumps you straight up cannot kite around, whitch is basically a slow loss, as even when the objective turns to eliminating the big slasher, the enemies keep piling up, and past mission two, it's almost impossible to keep on top of the spawns and since they just keep coming, it's hard to collect the XP you have gotten from your kills.
The enemies at the moment seem to include:
Mactera spitters
Basic grunts
Grunts but red and looking like lobsters?
Glyphid Pretorians
Exploders
(probably some more that I have simply missed)
The enemy selection is good, and if I had to complain about the bugs themselves and not the way they spawn, I would say that the exploders detonate way too fast to escape unless you're already almost out of the range.
the GRAPHICS
the artstyle is visibly different, and it's jarring. My eyes are not ready to see medium poly scout, the bugs themselves look different, like they were squished almost, it's not a major issue in mission, since you don't often pay attention to the small glyphid details while running for your life, but it is visible.
As of the current Demo, there are no graphical options, so no comment can be made on those

It's not a bad demo by any means, but it's far from good and there are definitely many things I would love to see changed in the final release later this year :3

Thoughts and predictions for the Mando season 3 finale:
There are some of these that I truly hope happen… and others I’d rather be wrong about. Going under the cut to hide spoilers.
Someone will die but I don’t think it will be Din. I’m thinking it will be Moff Gideon (huzzah!) or the Armorer (womp womp womp) but I don’t think they’d kill off Din just yet, especially so soon after killing Paz, and especially not after going through the trouble of capturing him and taking him to the debriefing room.
We’re going to see Darktrooper Din. Or some kind of Bad version of him. I think Gideon is trying to either clone him (via the blood that was taken from him when he was captured by that biodroid creature) or erase his memory (via the mind flayer) and turn him into “the perfect darktrooper” meaning Din will attack the other mandos/protect Gideon.
Grogu will have to connect with Din to save him. Whichever nightmare version of him it is, I think Grogu would be the only one who could get through to him. I think the “he means more to me then you’ll ever know” line comes into play in that Gideon will underestimate their bond (again) and it will be his downfall.
We’re going to see Din’s face. Either during Gideon’s “debriefing” or when Grogu has to connect. If it’s not taken off by Gideon or the stormtroopers, it might be removed by Bo-Katan in an effort to get him to come to his senses.
The dusty crusty mandos are the other spies referenced in Ch. 23. I don’t trust them I don’t trust them I do not trust them. I think they may be working with the Empire, and I think they were sent to find Bo once Elia told Gideon that she and Din were working together. They took the other mandos exactly to where Gideon was waiting. Also that animal attacked their land ship and I’m thinking it’s because it somehow knew that they were bad news.
Thrawn rolls up. ✌🏻 Gideon sure as shit doesn’t want him to. He wants to kill project “somehow palpatine returned” and he wants Thrawn to stay gone because he wants power. (Ooof and with a Dinjamin Darktrooper army who could stop him??) But I think the blue man is going to show up and ruin Gideon’s day. And I really hope I’m right because I miss that sociopath. (Also, they showed us a Purrgil peek so that’s gotta mean something, right? Something more than just leading up to Ahsoka?)
Grogu fights the Pretorian Guards. Get that shit away from him, he’s not letting them stop him from saving his Dad.
The Mythosaur rises from the living waters. Maybe with Bo-Katan riding it? Maybe with Grogu riding it? Maybe with no one riding it and it’s just had enough of these mother fucking imperials on its motherfucking planet? I hope it eats a storm trooper or 6.
I have a few other thoughts and theories about what’s going to happen beyond tomorrow’s episode, but I’m going to leave it here for now. What do you think of my crazy predictions? If anyone wants to discuss them, I’m here!!

Kornel the detonator killed its first glyphid! The Gunner was trying to get my sorry ass back up and an oppressor was coming in his direction, then boom! Out flying went the guy, Kornel also kept the other pretorians and large bugs at bay so we didn't have many accidents while mining around
So proud of my boy gonna bring him 2 sandwiches on the next mission :,)
Also don't worry about that bear anything just 2 as strong as blackout stout works for me and my team
now I still want to make that beer, I promised it.
