TL;DR: I hc that arcade gannon is a 30+y/o virgin, which I would say is as hilarious as it is charmingly pathetic. depending on how you look at it, perhaps it could just be hilarious or pathetic

this might go without saying but I feel like between arcade's time with the enclave, arcade trying to lay low and not affiliate with the enclave while in ncr territory, arcade working for the followers, arcade distancing himself from others emotionally to protect his past, and how off-putting and confusing arcade's self serving wittiness would be to the average wastelander even if he did open up, he hasn't really gotten the opportunity to really get himself a boy toy to settle down in the sheets with. maybe you'd think that he would get it on with someone eventually regardless of not having an established relationship, but I think not. I feel like he would feel weird about one night stands or hiring a hooker, he would definitely consider it but he knows he would feel kinda wrong for doing so. I also think whenever he mentions that a lucky guy hasn't swept him off his feet he phrases it like that because that's what he really wants. he wants someone who actually likes him to start an actual relationship with, and even if it's not perfect it'll be better than having to risk sleeping around for a little skin-to-skin
