SO the short version is he is this guy and my buddy. my silly little rabbit. he did eat people but it's fine

and the longer version because im physically incapable of Not rambling + hopefully this is mostly coherent i just get Excited:

he's from the elder scrolls five Skyrim! where he makes his debut as the primary antagonist! he shows up like literally RIGHT at the start of the game and i remember being uhh maybe 14? 15? ish when i played it the first time (i say ish because i have. wicked memory issues, mostly around the timeline of my life) and my GOD it went so hard + still does imo

his lore is a lil. Weird? like the elder scrolls does some weird stuff when it retcons (in canon refered to as dragon breaks, literally time breaking and multiple events being true but also Not) so in earlier games he didn't like. technically exist as he does now and i have a whole Different ramble on that i posted at some point

but in Skyrim hes the first born of akatosh (the dragon god of time) and the leader of the dragons which gives him a very high and mighty Im Better Than You Vibe (one of the dragons will tell you that first borns are arrogant as is their way and as a firstborn. fair-)

his whole thing is that hes SUPPOSED to eat the world but it's unclear if thats literal or metaphysical like hes ushering in a new era. instead tho he made a cult and that's also a whole lotta Lore (+where the dragon priest au came from) he's also sort of a god? thats related tho to that whole "didn't technically exist until the events of Skyrim dragonbreak" thing

my version of him though while based Heavily on canon and lore is kinda an oc at this point hfk i had felt like they could have done More with him and the dragons (because im biased and love them) so i started off little things as joke, it spiraled because ofc it did <3, and Now ive kind of shoved him in my pocket and ran with him

also two lil fun facts: he doesn't canonically have a human form but there's a lil quest with the bards where you find a book an stuff happens but you can say that "oo the dragons could turn Human!!" so i went with that for fun. also all the dragons names are in their own language composed of three words (minus nahfahlaar technically as he came from a WAY older game first)

so alduin translates out to "destroyer devour master" since their names are also supposed to be a description of what they Are fundamentally

anyways tldr he is a dragon god that i shoved in my pockets as a joke an now im STUCK with him (affectionate)

anyway taking a break from other aus because i've been thinking about my fallout au a lot lately! i'm currently building Eventer in fallout 4 to get pic refs but that'll take me quite some time. for now, an updated version of the au framework!

i wrote this: "since we have joe, bk, and ky now i have to add them! i think bk and ky were traveling together for awhile, both of them being from a recently opened vault. joe i think is someone from a different settlement that takes a shine to michael and follows him to Eventer." in a different post but i already want to change that so *scribbles over it* REDO god this au has so many retcons already

gavin is not a vault dweller, he is a mr. handy who was put into a synth body (like curie) this explains his british accent and also i think it just fits. i have a wip of a fanfic of them doing the procedure to transfer him into the synth body that maybe one day i'll finish and post here, who knows.

YOU KNOW I GOTTA ADD THE NEWBIES <33 it will be very hard for me to not make joe "guy who gets inexplicably attached to michael and follows him everywhere" in every single au i make but for this i think joe might be a vault dweller (for reference, jeremy and previously gavin before i retconned him were the only vault dwellers) i just think being a vault dweller can give you that kind of new baby but quickly learning the ropes feel that joe has for me still

bk is definitely a shop owner or caravaner that eventually just moved in because she made so many friends. she has such a big and friendly personality i really see her making a lot of social connections and being on good terms with most people who caravan or have stores. i think in eventer she runs a weapons store!

ky i can see as almost like, the unofficial mayor of eventer. she brings everyone together and makes the community closer! she's great at organizing events (heh) remembering important things about what the community needs or wants, ect. she isnt "in charge" as no one really has all the power, but i think her jack and trevor are the ones most respected and who people go to when they need a town wide decision made.

speaking of, i decided i wanted to have trevor and alfredo sort be what valentine is and make them detectives! i want to incorporate more red web vibes in my aus and fallout is a perfect place for that as there are canonically aliens and cryptids in the fallout universe, as well as. you know. murder and such.

as far as who lives together and their roles in the community the updated version would be:

michael and lindsay live together and run a general goods store and as such are involved in trade with other towns and farms nearby. lindsay is a ghoul in this au btw. because i couldn't not make someone a ghoul and i think ghouls are fucking badass so its them, as the most badass person in ah.

gavin lives alone but has several cats. he is the doctor and runs a small clinic out of his home.

jack lives alone and is the radio dj! mostly playing music but also settlement wide announcements when necessary and covering the news ect, like most fallout radio djs do.

trevor and alfredo live together and run a detective agency. when they don't have any cases, trevor builds stuff to help the community and alfredo picks up guard duty rounds as he is one of their most competent with a gun.

matt and jeremy live together! matt works with their livestock (which is just a handful of brahmin and also a radstaag they cant get to leave) while jeremy is more of the "main character" since i made this au because of him, so he goes off an adventures the most. of course he comes back at least every 2 days because of his cats! who if you'll remember, are an eye bot (zipper), a tiny securiton (booker), and 3 real cats.

bk and ky live together - bk runs a weapons story which i am electing right now to call Friendly Fire because thats their team name but also it FITS SO WELL OMG - anyway ky helps with this sometimes when she's not busy planning a cookout, or helping matt set up something for the animals, or giving jack news updates to talk about ect.

EDIT I FORGOT TO ADD JOE: joe lives alone and i think is the head guard like he patrols and keeps the town safe bc its very open. he also delegates patrolling schedules ect. cannot stress enough how he is not a cop tho. he is guarding the town from mole rats and raiders not arresting ppl for crimes.

29. Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?I actually have two right now. One is The Third Rule, which is a canon-compliant kylux fic that I’m really, really proud of. The other is And in grief shalt thou homeward go, which is admittedly a thorki wip modern au, and so I shouldn’t be shocked that it’s not getting a lot of attention.

30. In contrast to 29 is there a story which gets lots of love which you kinda eye roll at? I mean, I work pretty hard on most of my fics, so it’s not like I usually eyeroll when people are happy about them. I was REALLY shocked that Compatible got as much love as it did, because it was the first a/b/o fic I ever posted, and I didn’t expect people to like it that much.

33. What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten? I answered this one already, but someone did recently comment on every chapter of Retcon while they were going through it, and it was amazing to see their excitement. I also once had someone ask if they could buy anything I’d published, which was amazing.

Notes: - it’s not quite a Bad End but it’s not exactly the best outcome either - I originally got ideas from the initial previews for Bokura no Mirai - obviously none of those happened - if it’s not obvious enough, Koushiro is basically writing a quick program to warp and Rewrite the Digital Worlds’ coding. He moves so fast/swiftly because he’s already been through numerous timelines by this point, and is either a) subconsciously aware or b) not subconsciously, but hyper-aware {depending on which ‘verse/spinoff scenarios this scene Repeats within} - thus yeah these are psuedo-deaths [non permanent]; they don’t literally die {at least Koushiro himself definitely doesn’t in this scene} - look I’m sorry but if Koushiro fell from such a height, at such a speed, into the kind of place like Taichi fell into {it’s uh kind of replaced with maybe a certain Dark Cave here except 02-style; see: Chapter 11, City}, he’d be banged up too - Koushiro may be skilled by this point but he can’t stop everything - Koushiros’ true aim is to solve the {alternative/timeline splits?} mystery that they’ve possibly got thrown into, so he has a ways to go still; along the way, he’s coming to terms mentally with his own situation while bearing the weight of it all - this bit attempts to explain the canonical timeline gap between Spring 2003 [02 drama CD] ~ April 2005 [Tri start; Saikai] - I really miss my old website / 02 fic and really just want to write Daisuke {02 fav} helping Koushiro during a high stakes moment and them both acknowledging each other[s’/strengths] in turn - I meant to post this a long time ago but {well} Yup

- In the end this bit is more of a series of AU ideas that weren’t really supposed to happen in the main timeline of the fic, but I do like to think at least some version of Koushiro came across Daisuke at some point; {especially if we’re counting in my old ficverse} [Koushiro was a major player in a similar timeloops-esque / past lives situation there too, if slightly different back then]
