The case for Kris Dreemurr's monsterhood
Last year, I made a reskin mod for Deltarune called Kris is the GOAT that "makes Kris a goat monster", as the summary states. Today, however, I want to show you why I believe that the canonical version of Kris is already a monster- just a human-bodied one.
Part 1: A crash course on otherkinity
(If you already have a decent understanding of real-life nonhuman identity, feel free to skip this part. This is for those who are new to the topic.)
Otherkin are individuals whose species identity is incongruent with their physical body. In real life, this definition is simplified to "identifying as nonhuman", but the broader definition is more helpful for talking about the Deltarune universe. Like, Toriel also identifies as nonhuman, but that's obviously not the same situation.
Some otherkin are fine with their bodies as they are, while others experience species dysphoria and desire to species transition. I believe Kris fits into the second category.
Different people ascribe different origins to their otherkin identities, some spiritual and some secular. There's a lot, but all you need to know for this post is that imprinting is a very common one.
Part 2: The evidence
Kris was literally raised by monsters, which is the prime condition for imprinting to occur. As I established in part 1, imprinting is a common cause of othekinity.
So we've established that it wouldn't be surprising for Kris to be otherkin. Now for the evidence that they are:
First, the horns headband dialogue. We've all seen it, but let's talk about it. Here's a refresher on exactly what Toriel says:
Tumblr media
So, when Kris was a child, they asked when their horns would grow in. After that, their parents bought them a headband with horns on it so they wouldn't feel bad about not being able to grow horns. Kris apparently wore it for months, and the wording here implies that the reason they stopped wearing it was because it got lost, not because they actively chose to. It's likely that had it not gotten lost, they would have continued to wear it until it didn't physically fit on their head anymore.
That does not sound like the behavior of a child who sees themself as completely human. I also wear horns and trust me, even small ones can be surprisingly inconvenient. You would have to really care about having them to be willing to wear them all the time.
But that was when they were a child, you could argue. People change as they grow up. Is there any evidence that Kris doesn't see themself as a human now?
Well yes, yes there is! Here's the second big piece of evidence: the "How to Care for a Human" flavor text.
Tumblr media
Some people have interpreted this text as Kris hating humans, but nothing in the flavor text actually suggests that. Kris doesn't slam the book shut violently, they don't throw it, nothing like that. Nothing that indicates anger. They just close it quickly. That indicates discomfort, but not anger. (Borrowed observation from JaruJaruJ on YouTube.)
Instead, what I believe is happening here is that Kris is uncomfortable with the reminder that they look like a human, that the body they're in makes others perceive them as a human. And perhaps worst of all, that their own mother perceives them as one.
Tumblr media
In real life, nonhuman folks are pretty used to constant reminders that "this is what a human body looks like". But for Kris, who lives in a small town full of monsters, who possibly hasn't seen another human-bodied individual in person in years, that's not the case. It'd feel a whole lot worse for them, hence the reaction.
Before I move on to anticipating counterarguments, I would also like to address one more piece of evidence that is less direct: this flavor text for the mirror.
Tumblr media
The primary meaning of this is pretty clear: It's about how Kris' body is, at the moment, really just a puppet for the player. However, I think this line of flavor text could potentially have a double meaning, with the second meaning being "this body's appearance doesn't represent you". It makes sense both ways and it certainly wouldn't be out of line with Toby's writing for a line to have an extra layer to it.
Part 3: "But what about..."
"...the fact that they don't react when the other characters call them human?"
If they are a monster they're obviously not out about it, so they're not going to correct anyone. Additionally, it's possible that they haven't fully realized why they feel the way they do, or that they don't have the words to articulate it.
And it's worth remembering that we rarely get to see how Kris feels about anything unless whoever we're talking to actively comments on their tone or expression. Nobody has ever commented on their reaction to being called a human. It wouldn't be surprising if they're hiding their discomfort.
"...the Prophecy?"
Alright, this is basically a whole 'nother theory. I'll try to make it quick.
I believe that the human in the prophecy is not Kris, but is instead the player soul. The major points of evidence for this are:
-We originally weren't meant to be controlling Kris at all.
-The world is only said to be covered in darkness when we hit quit instead of retry, not when Kris dies.
-Despite the fact that Kris is said to be the only one who can seal the fountains, when they get sealed Kris just kinda... stands there while the soul does a thing.
This isn't the only way to explain how the Prophecy and Kris' monsterhood can co-exist, but it's (imo) the most elegant and plausible, so I won't make this post longer than it already is.
//
In conclusion: Kris clearly has some complex feelings about their species and I believe that otherkinity is the most straightforward explanation. Thank you very much for reading. Please feel free to share your thoughts about this theory, just keep it respectful.

Deltarune: The two Knights theory
MAJOR spoilers for Deltarune Chapter 2 ahead. Strap yourselves in, this post is a long one.
So, as the title suggests, this theory postulates that there are not one, but two knights in Deltarune: The Old Knight and Kris.
The New Knight, Kris
As we see at the end of chapter 2, Kris creates a dark fountain right in the middle of their living room. Presumably, they could have created the fountain in the library in between the end of chapter 1 and the beginning of chapter 2. This would make Kris the Knight that Queen refers to.
“The Knight” “The Roaring Knight…” “Today, It Deigned To Create This World” “Reaching Its Long Hand Into The Sky” “It Coursed Its Will Into Its Blade” “And Made” “Thrusting The Fountain From The Earth”
Tumblr media
[Image: Queen overlooking holograms showing a hand and a knife]
The blade shown in Queen’s cutscene is clearly a knife, much like the one Kris uses. Given that Queen confirms the cyber Dark World was only created today, Kris’s soulless moment at the end of chapter 1 fits into that timeframe.
Knight is a Title
Going by the continuation of Queen’s dialogue:
“This Power Of Determination…” “Is This Not Something That All Lightners Possess…?” “If One Was Simply” “Determined Enough” “Could Not Anyone Make A Dark Fountain?” “So Then” “If The Knight Has Taken Its Leave” “Then I Will Simply…” “Make New One”
Queen’s theory is that any sufficiently determined Lightner can create a dark fountain. This would make such a Lightner a New Knight.
It’s possible Kris only becomes the New Knight after chapter 2. Queen’s dialogue could be what gives Kris the idea to make their own fountain.
Escapism as Possible Motivation:
u/_snout_1’s theory on reddit postulates that Deltarune’s main theme is about escapism. Kris using the dark worlds as a form of escapism fits as a probable motive behind their actions to create more dark fountains. So despite Ralsei’s warning of the Roaring, Kris makes a new fountain knowing they will seal it by the end of the day; playing as a hero.
(Or maybe Kris is just getting possessed during the soulless scenes, but that’s less interesting imo)
Why the Old Knight is NOT Kris:
The reason I theorize there’s two knights is because of King Spades, Jevil, and Spamton.
If Kris was the only Knight, then I think at least one of these three would recognize Kris. While King Spades could believably fall for a disguise, I don’t think Jevil would. I admit that is purely speculative, but I think the best evidence that there is a Knight separate from Kris comes from Spamton.
Tumblr media
[Image: Spamton saying “KRIS, DID YOU KNOW THAT THE KNIGHT…”]
Tumblr media
[Image: Spamton distorted, saying “No, I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to --“]
When asked about the Knight, Spamton is about to tell Kris something before suddenly his text shifts from all uppercase to proper case usage and he apologizes profusely. I believe the Old Knight somehow knows they are mentioned and stops Spamton from revealing anything. This also hints at the Old Knight being the one who helped Spamton’s career in his backstory.
 Spamton’s Backstory:
The NPCs in the trash heap after the Spamton NEO fight talk about Spamton’s backstory. They talk about how someone over the phone helped Spamton become a [[BIG SHOT]]. Eventually, the help Spamton was receiving disappeared and his career fell apart as result.
 Gaster’s Connection to Spamton
Tumblr media
[Image: the final NPC in the trash heap] From the last trash heap NPC’s dialogue:
“The day he was to be evicted from the Queen’s mansion,” “I went to his room to check on him…” “But he wasn’t there.” “There was only a phone hanging off the handle” “He must’ve left in the middle of a conversation,” “Because I could still hear someone on the other end…” “…” “But when I put the receiver to my ear…” “There was nothing but garbage noise.”
Garbage noise is the same phrasing used to describe the sound that plays when you use your phone in the dark world. This sound is mus_smile, which plays during Undertale’s Entry No 17. This is strong evidence for Gaster being involved here.
Eggs, The Old Knight, and the many fragments of Gaster
Recall back to Undertale: this particular Gaster follower
Tumblr media
[Image: the Gaster Follower that holds a small head]
“They say he shattered across time and space.” “Haha… How can I say so without fear?” “I’m holding a piece of him right here.”
This confirms here that Gaster himself is not whole. There are at least 3 main pieces of Gaster in Deltarune that are important here. The Voice that talks to us at the beginning and in the twitter, The Man that gives the eggs, and The Old Knight
The Voice matches Entry 17’s speech patterns of VERY, VERY, INTERESTING. As well as the music playing being AUDIO_ANOTHERHIM, with Gaster’s theme in Undertale being mus_st_him.
The Man that gives us the eggs is likely the Mysteryman sprite we’ve all come to love
Given that the narration vaguely describes him in each scene “Well, there is a man here” As well as how he disappears in each scene is very similar to the Mysteryman in Undertale. It’s also possible that each instance of the Egg Man is a separate fragment. Maybe the eggs themselves also contain small pieces of Gaster? Very speculative there.
The Old Knight’s best evidence for a Gaster connection I’ve already shown with Spamton’s section. However, there is another piece that many others have pointed out. EGG in WingDings is EGG
One Side and Two Up: matching the movement of the knight piece in chess.
Additional speculation about the Old Knight’s connection with Gaster
The Old Knight either is a fragment of Gaster or has a fragment of Gaster like the follower in Undertale does.
If the Old Knight is a piece of Gaster, then one of their goals is most likely to become whole again.
If the Old Knight has a piece of Gaster, the same goal to make Gaster whole again could very well apply. Or, the Old Knight is against making Gaster whole so they can abuse the piece they own for some unknown purpose.
 Summary and Closing Thoughts
Based on what Queen has said, Knight is more of a title than a singular entity. The title applying to a sufficiently determined Lightner that creates a dark fountain. This makes Kris another Knight as shown in the end of chapter 2.
Evidence from Spamton shows the original Knight is a separate entity from Kris.
There is also evidence that links the original Knight to Gaster. We don’t know the exact connection, but given the Gaster was shattered into pieces, I believe the Knight either is or has a piece of Gaster.
That’s my theory on the Knight(s)! I’m very excited for how the plot develops in further chapters.

Hey, Fusion Fellas: As heartbroken as many of us still are over the DMCA shutdown, it’s nice to see so many fans of the game continue to carry on in whatever way they can.  I’ve kept up with whatever news appears as much as I can, seeing the news spread and more people come together to find ways to enjoy something that was such a big part of their childhoods.  There’s some stuff I’d like to say, regarding my personal thoughts and what I plan to do since I know some of you follow me for my fanwork of the game.  The first half is largely negative so, if you like, you can skip over that: I’ll have things written in bold to mark where this starts and breaks off.
I’m still angry at CN.  I know about the guy spreading lies to the network and I understand that they have to protect their IP.  That’s not what I have a problem with.  What I have a problem with is a multi-million dollar company targeting a harmless, fan project over a piece of their IP that they themselves have confessed they aren’t planning on doing anything with--effectively keeping it vaulted where no one is allowed to touch it: Targeting a group of devoted fans who’ve shown more love and care for this franchise and the fanbase (along with the shows its attached to) than their own hired creatives have.  Beyond a matter of law, this is a matter of respect--and CN has lost all of mine.
Take a game like Undertale and its creator, Toby Fox.  You have a small team making a game that boomed in popularity, similar to FusionFall back in its hay-day.  The difference is people can still buy UT and the game continues through the AU that is Deltarune while there’s no possible way for fans of FusionFall to ever experience it without a server.  So how do these two separate creators--Toby Fox and CN--react to their fans?  Toby Fox says, “Hey fans!  Go make your fanart!  Make your fan games, so long as you don’t try to make money off of it.  You can even make your more mature content, just please tag it separately from the game’s official title.”  Here, you have someone at greater risk of financial loss; understanding that what the fans create, they create out of love; giving as much allowance as he can to the people that enjoy what he started.  Cartoon Network?  “Yes, we know you love this game and although we’re never going to touch it again, you can’t either. How about you watch our awful reboots instead?  We know you didn’t want them and that you don’t like them, so we’ll be sure to call you names and spit on you if you have anything negative to say about us.  Because we don’t actually care about you.” This is a company that doesn’t think of its fans beyond the dollar signs they see attached to them. The fact that they’ve apparently only addressed one person over the course of weeks despite the countless emails and messages sent to them regarding FusionFall is also terrible--like they’re waiting for people to give up so the whole issue can be swept under the rug, like they think we’ll simply forget.
That post I made before about this?  I still mean it.  Cartoon Network doesn’t respect us, so why would I want to support them? Moneygrubbing, Hollywood empire Disney has shown a better attitude toward people than CN has as of late--and I can’t stand a large bulk of what Disney’s done over the past several years!  Everyone can make their own choice regarding the company--I’m not calling for a boycott--but I’ve stopped watching their shows and I’ve cancelled my plans for purchases I was going to make for their newer merchandise.  Even if I could make a few exceptions for them, their behavior overall is too horrible for me to want to give them so much as a dime of ad revenue from watching a video.
Because of this, I’ll be perfectly honest, I don’t even feel like making fanart anymore or writing the headcanon posts I’ve been covering.  I’ve enjoyed them, but they have been always solely for fun and it’s hard to want to make anything when all that’s happened is on the forefront of my mind.  Part of what makes it so hard on a personal level is that I loved what Cartoon Network used to be--and admittedly does still exist in small fragments of their content now. The creatives that wanted to push the envelope for animation and storytelling: Not the trash banking on old shows and jokes that were dated the moment they uttered them in hopes of getting a cheap laugh because there’s nothing better on TV.  (Not even realizing how doomed for failure they are as things move toward streaming because then people can shift through the garbage that much easier.)  When I was a kid, I watched the PPG on a regular basis and Numbuh 5 from KND was the person I wanted to be.  In middle school, I planned my afternoon schedule around episodes of Total Drama Island and bounced on a trampoline while singing Are You CN This? like it was the top single of the year.  In high school, our theatre members’ turns backstage were shared watching Steven Universe.  Now, I feel nothing but bitterness and disappointment, like someone who’s lost a friend that changed for the worst.
So, how will this effect what I post?  I did have a bunch of stuff planned, but I keep going back and forth on what I want to do.  It’s hard to truly enjoy making stuff, as mentioned before, but at the same time I’ve never been one to drop anything easily (even if it takes me years to actually get something done, as some of you who follow me for other things already know.)
Some of you may have noticed that I didn’t post a fic for last month’s prompt and haven’t posted any new prompts for this month.  I did start writing my story for April, but ended up leaving it hanging when everything hit. I don’t know about finishing it, and since I’ve been the only person working with the prompts from what I’ve seen, it seems pretty pointless.  Since I kinda began an arc with a few of them, I might try to at least wrap that up, but I just don’t know.
For the comic, since I already have some work done on what would’ve been the first chapter, I might go ahead and finish that.  (Just know that it’s several pages long, meaning it’ll still take some time to finish... and that you’ll need to be braced for wave of posts when its done.  It’s got about eleven pages now: I would have more done, but since I backtracked on the script to cover the tutorial rather than jump straight into a totally original plot as first intended, some of that stuff had to be put aside.)  Keep in mind thought that it really might be just that chapter.  Without the drive and with being so backed up on other projects--and since we don’t have the game to rely on for references as easily anymore--I just don’t know how long I could keep working on it.
With the headcanons, I could still do a fair amount of research to get those done, but it’s just not the same.  If I made more, the masterpost would still be updated; however, tags on the posts themselves would be limited to FusionFall rather than include the cartoons.  I don’t care about traffic: I don’t want any confusion from anyone thinking I’m supporting CN’s current work.  (Petty? Most likely, but at least there’s no question where I stand.)
Even if I don’t post as much FusionFall stuff, people are still free to send me asks about the game. So long as the asks follows the terms I’ve set up for my blog, it’s perfectly fine.  I’ll try to answer them as usual.
Overall, at least for now, expect these posts to wane: Not dropped entirely, but definitely less frequent.  I’ve said it multiple times already: I just don’t know.  I’m upset that the game’s gone.  I’m upset at those involved for its shutdown.  I’m upset at those who don’t care about the fans and those who act like the fans are wrong for caring.  I’m upset at those in the community going at each other’s throats when people are trying to salvage the fanbase as much as they can.  The whole thing is just plain sad and I don’t feel like there’s much I can do except sit at my desk, pick up my pen, and push myself to do what I’ve always done: Focus on my work.

im kinda want to get into this sort of thing so is it okay to ask u a few questions? if not just delete this, but here goes? would u reccomend game maker studio 2, and how hard is it to use in ur opinion? and is there anything u wish u knew at the beginning of making ur fangame?
aw anon you’re so sweet! don’t worry about asking about this, its really exciting to make games and trying new things! i would not say i’m an expert, and i wouldn’t even say i know gml like. at all. i just understand a how the code is used, but now what the code itself is or what to type exactly. like, i understand the theory more so than actually doing it. which is, eh, fine? i’m getting by, and i’m still learning. i’ve only been using gms 2 for 2 months now.
also, i’m using a fangame engine! i feel its kinda like cheating lmao, but its just meant to be a framework to build your own thing off of. and i still need to learn gms2 to use it, and i plan on doing more advanced and complicated things (ie: changing how battles even work structurally.) so. i’m not good at gsm2 yet, but uh, really once you understand coding its not any harder than i’d imagine w/ other professional game engines. compared to unity, i like this better because it seems built on the idea of making 2d sprite games. its SO much more simpler and the userface (while. i’m not a fan of how it has its workspace but whatever) is simple and easy to grasp.
i can’t say for certain if i recommend game maker. its very pricey and doesn’t go on sale often. (big sales i mean, it goes on 15% somewhat frequently) i really, really recommend doing your research first.
so here i talk about what game engines i’ve used over the last year. (also i hear Godot is good!)
at the end of that post i said this: “TLDR; figure out what kind of game and story you want to tell/make. i could of saved a year’s worth of work if i just sat myself down and realized i wanted to make a completely new fangame separate from my old blog stuff. and that i wanted to make an rpg specifically.“
and so! past me has good advice. figure out the scope and what story do you want to tell. with AL, I know it has 2 chapters, and rn i’m only concentrating on chapter 1. chp 1 has 7 nights and one area where you fight enemies. its very story/character driven and is more so like. a deconstruction of the rpg genre than an actual rpg game. (i know that the word deconstruction is over used as hell, but it is what this is.)
it builds off the themes of the original, while focusing on things that i want to focus on and develop. ut, at it’s heart, is about stories and grief, i’m just taking it to a different extreme and angle.
uh, anyway, i really wish i knew what i wanted to make and understood the source material more and what i wanted to make. i’ve. thought really really hard over what UT means, what message toby was trying to convey, how he did it and what I thought about it. understanding what YOU want from and for your project is the most important thing. WHY do you want to make this? WHAT do you want people to feel and think about when playing? or even, after playing? it doesn’t have to be super deep either.
so, figure out what you what to make, and then you can work on the how. really plan your story, but honestly i wouldn’t recommend planning it in super big details right off. also, super helpful to have a friend help you brainstorm and plot check things for you. (shout out to my friend the sniffer
anyway, don’t plan things TOO detailed because things are GOING to change no matter how well you plan! just try to get get an outline done, then rewrite it 5 more times and then MAYBE you’ll be ready to tackle a more detailed version. then write it 5 more times. i can’t stress enough how important planning is, and how you shouldn’t expect everything to work out even on draft 10! things will work, and when they do, draft 10 is going to look like bad awful nonsense cause you’re at draft 20 now and everything is much more coherent and better. games aren’t written or consumed all at once on the fly. its not a piece of fanart, a fanfic, a comic. its not updated more than once. its out, and then its just out. plan for it.
and real quick, don’t worry about art assets! depending on how you do the art, that’s most likely going to change and its going to be polished LAST. i could go more into how you should think of art when game developing, but thats another topic. just. honestly use shitty art assets and worry about it later.
Tumblr media
kris’ place holder sprite for deltarune ^ it don’t need to be pretty, it needs to be practical.
second advice: start SMALL!!! i feel i should of done this, and frankly i probably will have to sit down and do this lmao, basically, you should make boring small games to learn the basics. I know, i know, nobody really wants to recreate asteroid when you got big ideas of making stories and animations u wanna make. but like. you really need to figure out how the program works and how the code works in theory and practice.
Tumblr media
ok so like, think of coding like this. i got this from a skillshare video series, so uh. i’m going to retell this but in a shittier and likely less nuanced way. sorry
ok so imagine. you’re telling this guy who is trying to get to Gary’s house. now, Gary’s house is just down the road, few houses down, now, you can tell this guy that and he’ll likely find the house just fine. but if you’re telling a robot it’s not going to understand what “down the road” means. what road? how long? it needs instructions that are simple and work in a language it understands.
so you tell the robot “go down two houses, stop at sign until x seconds pass, turn right, go forward 1 house, turn ect. stop at house, ring doorbell. IF Gary answers, go inside; ELSE: do not go inside, wait;
so this what i mean by understanding the theory behind the code rather than the code itself. yes there’s complexities and differences in each language, but they’re ALL based on the same concepts. different program languages are less like different speech languages, but rather different dialects of the same. (uh, like us english vs uk english) its just different rules and “spellings” of the same core concepts.
next advice: don’t be afraid to ask for help! but also! do so within reason! if people are OPEN for helping, be sure do so in the right environment and within what time works for them. compensate people for the time and effort if you can. ALWAYS try to figure out the solution yourself first. often with coding, it can be a simple solution that you could of thought of yourself if you took the initiative to. google is your friend, youtube is your friend! (ok, youtube isn’t, but in this case! yes!) the answer might not always be easy to find, and its perfectly fine to look for help but its good to at least try on your own first!
speaking of which! LEARN LEARN LEARN! be ready to devote A LOT of time to watching and reading about game development. this goes to every game making program, not just gms2. i watch. so many videos on gms. i rec having the video play at 1.5x or 2x speed to cut down time. obvs you still need to retain the information, so speed might be not a good idea then. and its REALLY GOOD to pause and type out the code and follow along. but its also good to just understand the concepts, and theres no harm in rewatching once you’ve understood it  better at a different speed.
things WILL click and work out for you, and its going to be a very time consuming and long journey to get there. i LOVE making this game and telling this story but I also had no idea what i was getting into! and i probably will have more advice once i’m further in, (i’ve only used gms 2 for 2 months!) but thats the best i can say for now! i hope you pursue your dreams and start making things!!! you can do it!!!
the best time to start is yesterday, the second best time is right now! even if you put a little effort into it everyday, you’ll  build up progress and you can learn SO MUCH over time and theres this whole world of possibilities out there! the world NEEDS your story and your perspective, and i think creating it in anyway you can is necessary for humanity! your work will mean something to someone someday, and i am so excited for you to start your journey!

Good Morning Lads
I just thought of a possible plot to Deltarune’s full story and broke my own heart.
The demo? Monday. You go to the dark world every day until Friday. Every day you take a new companion from the classroom with you; Tuesday it will probably be Noelle, Wednesday it might be Jockington or Berdly or that cat on her phone whose name I can’t remember off the top of my head, and so on and so forth. Every time you bring in a new party member the Dark World will have changed drastically and will present you with a series of challenges that ultimately have symbolic relevance to your lightener party member’s life. For example, if Noelle joins your team, it’s likely the Queen will arrive to fight at the end of it all, which addresses the fact that Noelle has a lot of trouble with her mother. Unlike the King, however, the Queen will likely be more reasonable, and it will probably be something Noelle says that finally dissuades her of her crusade. Then, yadda yadda yadda, everyone cheers and breaks open champagne bottles, the day is saved once again, you seal up the fountain, you go home.
Of course, all the while, you’re gathering little bits and pieces about Dark World lore. Why are the kings so alright with being locked away? Why does the dark world change so much? What exactly were the darkeners supposed to do for the lighteners? Is there a reason the dark world presents itself only to those desperately in need of a turn around in their life? You can explore as far as being right next to the answers, but not quite having them. In all your investigation you find out that there’s someone pulling the strings behind it all. Someone who exists between worlds...
But Kris doesn’t care. And a word about Kris---they and Ralsei are the only constants in The Dark World. Of course, we all know exactly why that is: Kris is having problems without Asriel around, lashing out in strange and frightening ways. Ralsei is a temporary substitute for Asriel. He doesn’t come close to the real thing: No, never; but he’s the best Kris can have for a companion. Each time Kris goes to the dark world Ralsei helps them become more and more independent in their life without Asriel.
In all this complicated mess there’s only one thing that remains simple: Your daily playdates with a little skeleton called Papyrus. He’s younger than Kris in this game, young enough to be in Toriel’s class (Though he’s probably just a year away from graduating into Alphys’s class.) Every day you go over to Sans and Papyrus’s house and you play superheroes or racecars or spaceman with him, and all the while you talk about your favorite foods, your favorite games, your family...your memories. And you get just the barest impression that maybe, just maybe, these skeletons aren’t as happy as they’re letting on.
Finally Friday rolls around, the big pompous grand finale. You guide the final classmate through the dark world, they work out whatever personal issues they’re going through, the day is saved, the fountain is sealed, the world is safe forever and ever. Even Ralsei says something to the effect of “We’re okay now. The time of heroes is coming to an end. I’m sorry we couldn’t spend more time together, but...I think you’re ready to go on without me, Kris.” And it’s all one big emotionally satisfying moment, because you know the inhabitants of the dark world are safe. If you were playing as Frisk or Chara, they would be fine with this ending. They saved the world, they can go home happy...but then, you’re not, are you? You’re playing as Kris. The one who knows exactly what it feels like to be pulled by puppet strings. Yes, the inhabitants of the dark world are safe. But they are not yet free.
So comes Saturday. Picture this for a moment with me: Kris wakes up far, far too early. 5am, perhaps. It’s storming outside. The orange leaves on the trees are nearly fallen off to give way to black bark. The town is silent. Empty. ...abandoned. Kris makes their way to the school without any input from the player, and with three strong hits, they break the locked doors wide open. You regain control of Kris for a moment, and you can go to each of the classrooms one last time for some extra dialogue, but ultimately you know what must be done. With no hesitation, Kris goes into the Janitor’s closet, and, as if practiced, jumps down.
The dark world, too, is far too empty and quiet. The areas you went through on each day now seem to have...melted together? A horrible amalgamation, a corruption of what was once pure and good, as if the entire place is screaming “You should not be here.” Finally you reach the castle, the final sanctity of sanity, and at the top floor you face your foe...
...
Papyrus?
No. No, this can’t be right.
Even Kris is taken back by the little boy’s presence. When he turns around, he looks tense, and not a little bit scared. Instantly you’re in a fight with him. The most difficult fight you’ve had so far. He’s silent all throughout. Kris ACTs over and over again, trying to get him to explain why he’s here, what he’s doing, is he the puppet master?! ...after several rounds he finally says something.
“...THIS IS ALL JUST A GAME. THAT’S ALL IT’S EVER BEEN. YOU KNOW THIS.”
“MY DAD...HE KNOWS THIS BETTER THAN ANYONE. HE’S THE ONE WHO MAKES ALL THESE GAMES AFTER ALL.”
“DON’T YOU SEE? IF I DON’T KEEP PLAYING ALONG, HE’LL RESET EVERYTHING.”
“HE’LL CRUMBLE UP THIS WORLD LIKE PAPER AND THROW IT IN THE TRASH, AND THEN HE’LL JUST DRAW A NEW ONE. LIKE THIS ONE DIDN’T EVEN EXIST.”
“...AND WE’LL BE ALL ALONE AGAIN. ALL ALONE WITHOUT YOU, KRIS.”
“AND THAT’S NOT ALL---KRIS, HE’LL GO AFTER YOUR FAMILY TOO!”
“HE’LL GO AFTER YOUR DAD AND YOUR MOM, A-AND...AND ASRIEL, TOO. HE’LL DO SOMETHING TERRIBLE TO ASRIEL IN THE NEW WORLD.”
“SO JUST GO!!!”
“LEAVE!!!”
“...”
“PLEASE, KRIS...YOU’RE THE FIRST PERSON WHO’S EVER LISTENED TO ME.”
“YOU’RE THE FIRST PERSON WHO’S EVER PLAYED WITH ME.”
“I DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOU...”
“PLEASE...I DON’T WANT TO BE ALONE AGAIN...”
His attacks get weaker and weaker as he starts to break down, until finally he collapses. Kris, without any input from the player, goes up to Papyrus and hugs him. They stay like that for a little while, then the little skeleton pulls away and wipes his face. Kris and Papyrus both agree to stand up to the people controlling them, together. So this time, instead of sealing the dark fountain, you actually step inside of it.
From there you’re transported to a completely black room. You have to wander around for a little while before you find a computer---just an ordinary computer, at first, but when you interact with it---
The world turns off.
The world turns back on.
Dr. W.D. Gaster stands in front of you instead.
Of course from here you have a battle, and I’m sure Gaster does a lot of infodumping on why exactly he resets world after world and all that, and Papyrus stands up to him and says why this isn’t right, but even if I knew the Good Doctor’s motives, I wouldn’t want to spoil them, nor do I really have the energy to even really do so right now. All I know is, during the fight, your control over Kris gets weaker and weaker as they start to take their body back. Your choices from there are to try and keep controlling Kris, or to take a step back and let them have their freedom. Either way, Kris eventually wins out. Naturally, depending on how hard you fought, what Kris says to you afterwards changes, but after all is said and done, both you and Gaster are pulled away from the strings. Kris then releases you, the SOUL, to go off into the wild blue yonder...
The final cutscene shows how each of your companions are changing their world in little ways. Things aren’t perfect, not by a long shot, but nothing is ever completely perfect. Susie is shown in some nicer clothes, eating a ham sandwich with Noelle by her side. Noelle and Rudolph are shown talking to Noelle’s mother. (I’m not sure who the other companions will be but whatever they are and their issues are we’ll yadda yadda them.) Papyrus is shown playing superheroes with other kids his age while Sans watches on the stairs. Kris gets the most screentime, of course. They’re sharing a pie with Toriel when there’s a knock on the door---it’s Asgore. Toriel reluctantly lets him in. Asgore apologizes for harassing her before and thanks her for letting him visit. She sighs and says something to the effect of “Yes, well. We both love Kris. One visit on their behalf is not so bad I suppose. But I do expect you to stop sending flowers.” They share pie a little longer, and there’s another knock on the door. “I wonder who that could be...? Kris, do you mind answering it?”
A few beats as Kris goes to answer the door. When it opens...Asriel stands there.
“Hey, mom. Hey, dad. Hey, Kris. Am I too late for pie?”
Roll credits.

Deltarune Chapter 1: The Official Undertale AU
Tumblr media
At 6:00 AM PST, on Halloween 2018, the official Undertale twitter account released what is essentially a demo for the next game by Toby Fox, deltarune. Between the baffling intro, the odd relationship with the original Undertale, and the implied involvement of a certain missing doctor, everything about this game was shrouded in mystery.
And I loved it.
(Spoilers and Review below the cut)
Part 1: The Story
Tumblr media
At first glance, most people assumed this mysterious new game would be a sequel (or possibly prequel) to Undertale. After all, it involves a number of shared characters, the titular rune was prominently featured in Undertale, and even the name “Delta rune” is an anagram for “Undertale”.
However, the relationship between the two is much stranger, and the plots are largely unconnected.
After creating an avatar and having the game unceremoniously throw it in the garbage, you play as Kris (that lovely person up there), the human child of Asgore and Toriel, and younger sibling to Asriel Dreemurr. Right off the bat, about a million questions are raised, especially since later conversations indicate Kris has at least been living with the Dreemurrs’ since they were too young to know their species, but we’ll come back to that.
Toriel drives you to school, though still get there late, and Alphys (who is your teacher here) puts you in a group with Susie, the only student to show up after you, to work together on a group project. However, when she realizes she doesn’t have any chalk, she sends the two of you to go get some from the school’s broom closet. You catch Susie eating chalk, she threatens to eat your face but doesn’t, and you head off to the broom closet.
Then things get weird.
Tumblr media
After that, it sort of follows a plot line similar to the original: you fall into another world, there’s a bunch of monsters you can either fight or spare, and you just have to keep going up and to the left to fulfill a prophecy & get to the exit, all while dealing with ambiguously evil characters who are more silly than dangerous. It is, however, a bit shorter, with only about ten unique enemies and only three areas in the whole game. But hey, it is technically just the first chapter, so what do you expect.
Of course, what really makes an Undertale is the characters. Since you’re in a different world for most of the game, the returning characters from Undertale don’t have much of a presence outside the very beginning and very end. Instead, we focus on a handful of new characters, all of whom are pretty well-rounded and developed, with the exception of Kris, our silent, somewhat-ambiguously-gendered protagonist. Susie, in particular, goes through a pretty nice character arc, going from someone who’d casually threaten to rip your face off and eat it, to an actual antagonist at one point, before eventually working her way back to being a good guy and someone you can actually be friends with! It’s definitely the strongest arc in the game so far.
There’s also Lancer!
Tumblr media
He’s a villain.
And not a skeleton.
Tumblr media
Just trust me on this.
Part 2: Presentation
Tumblr media
Just to get it out of the way, the music is fantastic. Of course it is. It’s an Undertale spinoff and, more importantly, it’s made by Toby “Radiation” “I could shit out a better soundtrack than most of you will ever even imagine” Fox.
I will however say that I prefer Deltarune’s sound design in general to Undertale, though. Don’t get me wrong, Undertale still has the better OST (for now at least), but Deltarune’s sound effects JUST beat it out in my books. In particular, I felt like the text sounds for most of the characters was, on average, less annoying than in Undertale. Again, don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Undertale’s voices, but some of them could get a little ear-grating, especially for characters who talked a LOT throughout the game. Here, with the exception of one returning character (where the irritation was kind of the joke anyways), all of them work really well. There’s even a tiny bit of voice acting from a couple of the more important characters! So, big thumbs up there.
More pressingly, however, are the visuals. In case it wasn’t obvious from the above screenshots (aside from that second one of Lancer, maybe), the graphics have gotten a MAJOR glow up since the last game. Temmie Chang, aka “Most Precious Meme”, is still the main Artist for the game, and Undertale is by no means a bad looking game. However, in general, the games’ art went from “Beautiful and sometimes even breathtaking” to consistently “HOLY SHIT MY EYES ARE NOT EQUIPPED TO COPE WITH SUCH SHEER BRILLIANCE!!!”
You think I’m exaggerating, but I legit dropped my jaw at a lot of this game’s visuals. I mean, just look at this one End-game animation!
Tumblr media
I think this one short scene has more detail and frame than Asgore’s overworld sprite got in the entirety of Undertale.
On the slight downside, however, we no longer get the full-body monochromatic battle sprites from Undertale, as enemies appear in battle almost identically to how they appear in the world. Still, with this much more detail in overworld sprites, it’s not even a slight loss.
Speaking of battle...
Part 3: Gameplay
Tumblr media
Yep, the gameplay has gotten a major overhaul over the past three years. First, as the screenshot should make obvious, you have a team now! Yep, in addition to Kris, you can get up to three additional party members over the course of your adventure, including Susie!
In general, what you can do in battles with Kris is mostly the same; you can Fight by hitting the button at the right time, Act in certain ways to make the enemies not want to fight you, use an Item really quick, or Spare an enemy who you don’t want to kill. You also have the option to defend, which will lessen the damage you take if you get hit during the obligatory bullet-hell attacks your enemies dish out.
Where things get really interesting, though, is the team mechanics. You see, every character is different, and everyone but Kris can use magic (although some of Kris’s ACT commands kinda seem like magic?). However, only Kris can directly ACT, with other party members only being able to preform certain set spells. So, instead, Kris can command the other party members to perform actions, or Kris can ACT while the others defend, use items, or attack. If you use a Team ACT, the other party member(s) involved won’t be able to do anything else that turn, but said Team ACTs are usually more powerful or potent as a result. The whole thing can set up for actually strategic choices in battle: In Undertale, since most enemies only had one or two ways to spare them, the most strategy you could use on a Pacifist play through was “Which enemy should I deal with first?” Here, you have to figure how you’re going to handle each encounter. Do you have Kris ACT first, then have another party member spare that monster in the same turn? Or do you act WITH that party member, and next turn be able to spare at least two monsters?
In addition to the battle system being reworked, there were a number of smaller, quality of life changes:
You now have three item categories: Items (your standard consumables), Gear (your armor and weapons), and Key Items (your cellphone and a couple other important things).
You can sell at pretty much every shop in the “Dark” world, which makes sense, since you’re mostly selling food, armor, and weapons-things people in this world would need to survive.
Each character in your party uses a different kind of weapon, but all of them use the same armor, and you can give them all two pieces of armor each, so you can stack defense and get extra boosts!
Choices are mostly presented in a cross pattern, so you just have to pick a direction and confirm to choose that option.
THERE IS NOW A RUN BUTTON AND IN THE OPTIONS YOU CAN CHANGE SO YOU AUTO-RUN AND THE RUN BUTTON IS JUST A WALK BUTTON!
And speaking of which, YOU CAN ACCESS THE MENU FROM WITHIN THE MAIN GAME! THANK YOU!
You can also have up to three save files at once, although I’ve heard each file has some minor differences in flavor-text across the game, so be on the look-out for that.
Overall, I feel like I honestly prefer the game play to Undertale. In fact, with the exception of the story (which is mostly underdeveloped because, again, this is basically just a very long demo), I honestly prefer most of Deltarune to Undertale. While it isn’t technically a sequel, per se, it does do what any good sequel should do: use the original as a starting point and just improve almost everything. It’s almost like the Bioshock Infinite to Undertale’s Bioshock, if that makes sense.
(Would that make System Shock 2 Homestuck? Am I over thinking this?)
Now, with the actual review out of the way, we can get to the main event.
Part 4: Co̞͞n̤̠͎̙̥̗n̸̰̜̳͚͓͇͍e̸͈͉̳̺c̭̮̬̖̭̗̳͠t͍͓͘i̖̺͙͇̟̫o̢̰̜̦n͈̮̼͈͎͖̦s͈͝ ̹̙̦͈̯̜A̡̟̥ņ̥͙̗d̛͙̤̦͈̹̪͚ ̺T͍̞h̡̜̝̟̬e͏̱̹̲ͅ ͕̯̰͍̜͇͍D͝oc̜t̸̺̱̯͙̠o̷̱r͈̟̣̤̯
Tumblr media
As I mentioned before, this game isn’t technically a sequel to Undertale. None of the events of Undertale seem to have occurred in this universe, including (seemingly) things from before the game even began. This becomes especially apparent after you leave the “Dark” world and can explore town, talking to various people. Character relationships are almost universally reset, there is no mention of the “Underground”, and considering Asriel is still alive and in college, it’s safe to say there is no Flowey in this world. It could almost be passed off as a complete alternate continuity, or even a reboot, if it weren’t for a few...
Tumblr media
oddities.
Yep, among the returning characters, Sans makes an appearance, having apparently just moved into town and never having met you before. Despite having apparently met Toriel the night before in the grocery store, and having a business relationship with your teacher, Alphys. Plus, there's the fact that what used to be Grillby’s and the Bone Brother’s house both look WAY too close to there original versions (no other building looks that similar), the fact that of ALL the returning characters, only Sans looks the exact same (no redesign, visible aging, or even new clothing), and the fact that some of Kris’s dialogue choices seem to reference things that haven’t happened in this universe, and other characters notice them acting...different.
Plus, you know, there’s Chapter 1′s ending.
Tumblr media
Yeah.
(Plus, as you might have noticed at the top of this part, there’s a monster who is the only one in either game who looks similar to this Gaster Follower)
Tumblr media
All of this seems to point to something much more sinister going on. And, for those who haven’t seen it, the tweets leading up to the demo’s release might just explain why.
Tumblr media
Now, we aren’t quite sure who this is supposed to be, but judging by their vocabulary and how they type, it’s a pretty safe assumption we’re being chatted to by our favorite former royal scientist. And, sure enough, most people are assuming that this entity is at least some version of Dr. W. D. Gaster. Why is he doing this? What does it all mean? Why was the Delta Rune even slightly relevant to the plot of this chapter aside from there being three prophesied heroes?
Well, I suppose only time will tell.
Until then...

We Know The Sans Is Steven Theory, But Here Is A New Theory...and other stuff.
okay I’m not sure how many have figured this out,
but I’m pretty sure that some have figured out
you can find “Sans” name
by doing this Steven Quartz Universe
but do know what you get when you do the same thing with Connie’s name?
you get Connie Maheswaran
when you bold the first letter of Connie’s name,
then do the same with the “h” and the “a, r and a” in her family name.
it spells out Chara, same goes for Steven’s name
when you bold the first letter of his name, then bold the “a”
of his middle name, then bold the “n” and “s” of his “last name.”
and you get Sans.
so because of how Connie’s name spells out Chara,
I have a fan theory that Chara would be like the reincarnation of Connie.
and I have just notice while watching a DVD of Steven Universe Future
(I’m so happy that I got the complete series on dvd.)
I notice that the places on the X-Ray of Steven’s skeleton,
kind of reminds me of Gaster, if you ignore the line on the very top,
and focus on the other two lines on the skull, it might remind some of you of Gaster, well it’s fine that many see it.
but I didn’t really notice it before until today.
plus if Sans and Steven are one and the same,
and he was adopted by Gaster or was reborn as his son,
by having Gaster use magic to infuse him with, and having a piece of a fragment of his soul and his wife or life-partner’s soul fragment.
then that would make him his son, even if he did start out as just a half-human and half-gem, well his soul would still be a hybrid, having a gem’s soul,
or better known as a Physical Conscious Manifestation of Light,
which is what I believe the Monsters in Undertale are,
their physical bodies are but physical consciousnesses, that are manifestations of light from their souls, their souls make the magic/light of their bodies appear before the physical world, while their souls stay covered by their physical manifestation of light.
it might also be a pretty crazy theory,
but if the whole Undertale/Deltarune and Steven Universe were connected,
but I believe that the Monsters in both the Alternate Reality Universes,
could be descendants of half of the human tribes,
that were hit by the corruption light by White, Yellow and Blue Diamond.
of course if the three of them, plus Steven, did use their powers to heal their descendants that are known as “Monsters”, it wouldn’t heal all the changes of their genetic makeup.
maybe make them have them have physical bodies that aren’t made up of physical consciousnesses of magical light of their souls.
but their bodies would be able to use magic and be in-tuned with their soul.
since the humans that imprisoned them had spears, while some had some form of magical spears, it could of been that the ones that helped imprisoned the monsters in underground, were Gems or Monsters who turned on them.
or it could of been Gems.
if the Diamonds did cause some kind of evolution on half of the humans on Earth, I think the other half of the human tribes could of ended up still being human, because they were underground, but the other half didn’t listen to Rose about going to safety in case the war between the Crystal Gems & Home-World Gems, got really REALLY bad.
so it might be possible that if it were canon
(but only if it was made canon, but might be some kind of tier number of canon, while not being in the canon of the show, since it is completed.)
if the monsters were sealed Underground for maybe 5000 years or so,
would that mean that when the first humans became monsters, thanks to the Diamonds, they had for a few generations forgot where they came from, that their ancestors use to be humans, and they were the first to transform into monsters because of the Diamonds.
and then during that time, the Monster Vs Humans started,
and the Humans imprisoned their own kind.
if the theory were canon, and not just a fan headcanon.
the monsters who were imprisoned, would still be humans.
they just were magically evolved.
plus if Steven and Sans are one and the same,
then Sans, plus Papyrus, would have a lot of Rose Quartz for Sisters.
of course they would be Feminine, but not Female.
the whole Feminine and Masculine doesn’t always have to do with the binary.
just picture Superfan-Rose picking Papyrus up in a big hug.
and calling him Little Bro.
well technically both him and Sans would be the “little brothers” of all those Rose Quartz, because Pink created them.
even though I still love both shows of Steven Universe,
I still am disappointed in Greg, even if he was a good dad in the other half of Steven’s life, but he wasn’t responsible when it came to caring for Steven’s human half properly.
even if a parent can be a good parent at times, there are different ways to be neglectful, even if you don’t mean to.
it’s okay that not many see Greg that way, and I wont force anyone to agree,
but Greg is no better than Rose, sure they both have something about them that was good, but they weren’t truly 100% good people.
they hurt others, really badly.
when we first watch the series, we never truly see Greg as being neglectful
towards Steven, but then we start to realize later on
that Greg is kind of a bad parent, even if he can be a good parent the other times, he still a bad parent.
for me to come to this conclusion,
it was when I was watching Steven Universe Future.
I know some fans had given up on watching the rest of the episodes,
but it’s fine if they don’t want to.
this morning when I was watching the episode
that comes before the very last episode,
I was moved to tears.
Steven was going through a lot, and he really need to be shown that everyone is there for him and hug him when he was in that very, very, super dark place he was in.
Steven might be a Gem, but he is also Human.
even if he is immune to being poof, he can still suffer the same way as full humans can.
even if there are still fans that like Greg, and maybe I do too.
but my like for him has went down a little bit,
because of finding out about his past, and how I started to realize
that he was technically being neglectful to his son.
once more, there are different ways to be neglectful.
with the money that he got from Marty,
he could of put Steven in school, or maybe hired him a tutor.
oh and let’s not forget he could of took him to the hospital.
it’s good that Pearl, Amethyst and Garnet were there to teach him about Gem culture, but Greg should of been more responsible to make sure that Steven had a perfect balance of both his heritages.
even if both he and Greg became on good terms at the last episode of Steven Universe.
it still isn’t okay with what Greg did, I mean at least some parents have some excuses, but he probably didn’t have a understandably sound excuse that would pardon him from his actions.
even if he wanted to be a “Cool Dad.”
he is truly no better than Rose when she was Pink Diamond,
I still think that Rose becoming “Rose Quartz”, does count as a form of
Trans-Gem, which is different from Transgendered.
for gems it is something like Pink Diamond taken on the permanent appearance
of a Rose Quartz, even if her gem is still a diamond.
her disguise became her new form when she reformed after faking her shattering.
even if Rose had learned to love and had made friends with those she fought along side with.
it doesn’t change the fact that she hurt her family, friends and anyone else that had loved her before.
we can still like Greg and Rose, but what they did that ended up hurting those around them, doesn’t change most fans feelings.
not all fans have to agree about it, but Greg hurt his parents,
and Rose hurt White, Yellow and Blue.
even if half of Rose’s punishments weren’t justified.
I believe that the only time they were, were when she let her temper get too out of hand, and then when it did, she would have to be put in the tower.
Rose was a....witch, when she tricked Spinel.
if the warp pad was still connected to the garden, then she could of went to get Spinel after war with the home-world gems.
but she didn’t, she just left her there for 6000 years.
and that caused Spinel damage when she found out the truth.
by the way, I was watching something on Youtube,
well I wasn’t signed in, but I was watching this Video,
that has do to do with finding out your Guardian Angel’s name.
don’t think it worked for me though.
sure I got this feeling on the middle of my forehead,
but the name that pop into my head can’t be them.
because after the name came popping into my head, and I tried to look their name up on Youtube....I just well, I don’t know.
I did ask my pendulum today (I saw the video other day.)
but it might be on one of it’s joke kicks, even if it is saying “Yes”
which once again is when they go clockwise fast for Yes.
even if the title says it really works,
it might not of worked for me though, maybe for everyone else.
even if your guardian angel could willingly tell ya their name,
it is highly possible that mine didn’t throw it.
and the whole Sariel popping into my head, had nothing to do with it.
I just don’t think I was able to do it, maybe I can try again sometime.
I’m listening to Cups & Casinos: Devil’s Advocate.
it really good, even the animation is good.
Devil ain’t getting my soul, he ain’t the boss of me. XP
even if my pendulum did give a “Yes”
when I ask about the whole Earth Angels TECHNICALLY being the younger siblings of Archangels and Higher-Up Angels.
well I am still gonna hope Divine Mother gets custody of me.
I can still believe in the Divine Father too.
it’s fine that not everyone understands my reasons and the thoughts....
I still plan to talk to my family about the whole Asexuality thing,
just can’t come out and tell them I had discovered that I’m Aroaceflux.
or the fact that I’m not a Christian, like once again I once did thought I was...
but turns out I’m a Ma-Acolyte.
I still believe in some of the ways that my family that are Christian, do.
but the only differences is I believe in the Divine Mother too.
I still think it is wrong to force convert others, and hopefully humans will try not to do that, and try to let others decide by their own will.
by the way, I don’t think I will have to worry about dream-walking.
even if my pendulum could of pulling some prank,
I ain’t taking the chance of it not being a prank.
plus I can’t just come out and tell someone in my family,
that they are kind of being toxic-religious,
because they mistake me using the “H” word as for something else,
which I was only using it to explain about the possibility of what would happen to a certain woman, if it turned out her plans were true....
and if my pendulum isn’t pulling a prank, and is being truthful.
I guess it could be true that in one of my past lives,
which had to do with me being named Tamar in one of them,
I or her that was my past life, didn’t have a guardian angel to protect her.
but it could be pulling one of it’s pranks.
but I wont rule it out fully for not being possibly true.
my pendulum can be a prankster,
I asked if it I had more than one guardian angel, I asked if I had three guardian angels, and it gave a “Yes”....so yeah, it is obviously in it’s prankster mode.
it’s still giving a “Yes” about me having eight energy wings.
still giving a “Yes” About the deer energy antlers and lion tail.
which if it were true, it would mean that only those with psychic abilities would be able to see them. I can’t see them even if my pendulum gave a Yes about me having them.
the eight wings thing is so a prank it’s pulling, two wings I will believe,
even about the habit about my energy wings hugging around me when I get nervous or sad or upset of any kind,
even the whole them turning into flame wings if I get really mad.
but it’s okay that not everyone believes that kind of thing, but the whole eight wings.....it has to be pulling one of it’s pranks.
anyway back to the whole theories.
no one has to agree about the whole Sans being Steven’s future self,
the same way not everyone has to agree about Chara being Connie’s future reincarnation.
but even if that were true, Stevonnie is forever.
which if Chara existed in the Deltarune world,
and goes to college with the Asriel that lives in that world.
then that version of Chara, can be ship with Sans.
it would be pretty much too late for them to be ship in most timelines,
where they hate each others guts....
and have no idea that they had a past together, as Steven and Connie.
plus no matter if Chara in any fanon timeline,
is Male, Female, Agender, Andro-Agender or Gyno-Agender.
they would still possibly be Connie’s next life self.
I know I had explained this before,
but I will again....the Andro-Agender & Gyno-Agender,
is a bigender identity and is both Binary & Non-Binary.
plus if Connie Maheswaran is Chara, and have some of her memories
from their time as Connie and may remember about learning how to fight with a sword thanks to Pearl.
it wouldn’t mean they would willingly share them with their adoptive family,
or even with Frisk or even Sans, who was their boyfriend in their past life as Connie Maheswaran.
I’m so glad that in the end of Steven Universe Future,
Connie and Steven ended up as boyfriend & girlfriend.
my other theory is that even if Chara is Connie’s reincarnation,
they could perhaps not remember their past life as Connie,
but maybe they could be triggered in remembering.
same way if Sans ended up with amnesia, all he would know is that his family is Papyrus, Gaster and whoever else is related him.
like the different versions of his mother that isn’t Rose/Pink.
he would not have any memories of being half-human & half-gem,
or his true love being a human.
but because of the bad blood,
most versions of them wont end up back together.
but most would get along and just have a friendship or family type bond,
with no romantic feelings whatsoever.
it be interesting if the two parts which makes up Chara and Connie,
could speak to each other.
like Connie trying to get through to Chara when they become in doubt,
and feel like taking their anger out on Frisk or the Player or anyone else, for using them as a scapegoat.
Connie and Chara talking to each other, could be a type of split personality,
but the part of them that is Connie, could physical appear to them, like a ghost.
but not everyone has to agree about that.
or about Chara being Connie’s reincarnation.
or about my theory about how Flowey makes up Asriel’s memories,
