my first thought was once again pirates. Since you mentioned PortFra first.. how about france and portugal forming a little alliance of their own to catch england (who's a cocky little shit) and put him back into his place? but also, and at the end of the day, I think this could actually work. they could make it work being in a very loving relationship, if they put some effort into it.

ahhh yes, despite everything I like lockdown/quarantine fics :D the idea of them basically being locked in with each other for weeks on end is lovely. bonus points if at least one of them thought he was straight before the sexual frustration took over and opened his eyes for how hot his roommates are <3
