Our favorite places around Helsinki: Porkkala
This is not a priority order, it just happened that we had some photos about this place what we really like. Porkkala is a peninsula less than an hour drive from Helsinki with beautiful rocky seashore and magnificent view to the archipelago. There are several marked walking routes, but the best way to get around is just to follow your mood. There is a naval base in the are with a fence what can limit your wandering. We usually target the tip of the main peninsula starting from one of the three parking lots.
This post is also about hiking in the winter. The Helsinki area provides endless possibilities for winter and summer hiking. The marked roads and the parking lots are well maintained.

Pekka Poutsalo was touring ice skating in front of Porkkala this winter. With the drone that accompanied him, he recorded his skating trip. Pekka Evijärvi, a musical touring skate friend who was on a skating trip with him, suggested that this and the videos shot on the drone earlier could be put together and he would make music for it. The result was the attached video of the excursions filmed during the last four winters.

Vegaanin Joulu - lataa ilmaiset reseptit!
Tumblr media
Olen viime vuosina vähän jäänyt junasta näiden joulureseptien kanssa. Viime jouluna esimerksi viimeistelin Vegaanin kotiruokaa kirjaa täydellä tohinalla.
Lue Vegaanin Joulu-Pidempikorsi jouluspesiaali
