Adding the white arches on top of this painting was the last thing I did, as soon as I had painted them I felt I was looking out from an ornate wooden porch onto a forgein landscape and the title, one which we have all heard before, came to mind "A Room With A View". It also made me think of Matisse's paintings of views through windows. I think this won't be the last porch or window view painting I do. I like the idea of the viewer being part of the piece and I think something like this helps you step inside the work. i got a brand new xp pen tablet and decided to try it out! i really, really like it lol. this was drawn on firealpaca and made absolutely diabolical use of the watercolor bleed pen

considering how easy it is to create and customize new works on firealpaca, and all the extra tools it has, i might just start using it for pondclan moons... perhaps
