Okay, making a separate post about this because I feel like not enough people either know about it or appreciate it: in the Naranja/Uva Academy library you can find an issue of a magazine called "Occulture" that has this article about Ryme in it:
["The Musician's Register
Four decades into her career, Ryme-the "MC of RIP," whose flows are said to bring the dead to their feet-maintains her huge following and her rap legend status. The theme of death pervades her work-and not just because her bars slay.
When Ryme was in her teens, her dear Puppy Pokémon passed away, and she poured her grief into a song. When she sang it, her partner came back to her as a ghost Pokémon. In that moment, the rapper we know today was born."]
So this woman is not just a legendary rapper who makes death-themed music and has dreads styled to look like a skeleton, but she apparently has performed actual necromancy via song and I just really think this needs to be talked about more. She has a Houndstone, so like, was it already a Greavard/Houndstone before and it just came back the same way? Or since it's referred to as a "Puppy Pokemon" specifically, maybe it was something else, one of the pokemon that has that specific dex category, like... a Fidough, or, as Tyme is her sister and is a rock-type specialist, maybe a Rockruff. Either way, did she have any idea that she would be able to bring it back to life by singing? Do other people in the Pokemon world have this ability? Is it common for her fans to ask her to bring their pokemon back to life for them? Can she if she wanted to, how does it work? Gamefreak, I need answers here.

Larry and Ryme talking at Blueberry Academy's League Club Room
[Image description: Screenshots from Pokémon Violet, showing a conversation between Larry and Ryme.
Larry: Thank you for doing business with us regarding the redesign of the Montenevera battle court.
Ryme: Oh, yeah! I forgot we hired you for that. No sweat, baby. You did right by us too! That new battle court's pitch-perfect for live shows and as ghostly as I wanted. My sister loved her old rocky court, but my Houndstone couldn't burrow into that!
Larry: Ah, I see… To be honest, though, that project was a huge boon to myself. Without it, I would have landed zero contracts that year.
Ryme: Bahaha! Sure you're not a Ghost-type user, Larry? Sometimes seems like you're barely stayin' alive!

I freaking love scarlet and violets designs for the gym leaders and elite 4! Hassel and Brassius are the cutest while Ryme has to be my favorite gym leader. Don’t get me started on Arvin’s quest
