And then, entirely unprompted, this amnesiac bastard (with quite possibly the edgiest nickname ever) just suddenly drops this bombshell

finally finished playing explorers of sky and I don't think I am the same person that started it

some context for the rhyperior thing: the first time I went into the darkrai fight I was super anxious for unrelated reasons and couldn't pay attention at all (got swept)

Writing a fun little fic about my PMD2 hero OC, Twig, stumbling across the amnesiac Darkrai years after the events of the post-game and fearing that he’s eventually going to recover his memories and repeat the events of the game. As a result, she lets him live in her house so she can keep an eye on him and desperately conceal all hints of his past. During all this, she is a nervous wreck and ends up going to Grovyle for advice on how to not keel over from stress. Grovyle has little advice to provide beyond “NO???” and “WHY???” and “STOP DESTROYING YOURSELF FOR THE GREATER GOOD!!!” Unfortunately for them both the Self-Sacrificial Lizard Instinct is contagious and they’re perfect equals in stubbornness; the resulting argument will never resolve and they will be stuck there shouting about how hypocritical the other person is being until the heat death of the universe.

i wanted to make an effort to naturally add BF to the world of PMD2 rather than randomly shove him in there, so I tried to design how he would look as the human in the future of darkness. I imagine that you couldn’t really stay all shiny in a world like that so I tried to rough him up a bit as a result of the dangerous pokemon and (non-existent) environmental conditions. While he’s gonna show a decent amount of other emotions in the dialogue portraits, I still want to stay faithful to his canon characterization of “too dumb to not be confident”, so I kept his goofy little face :^)

and don’t worry, Girlfriend will also get some more attention later on!

It's been a long time coming but I'm happy to finally present Don't Ever Forget (I Don't Want To Say Goodbye) WITH LYRICS, featuring Drazorleaf.

Our collab of this song perfectly encapsulates our talents together at last. Drazor helped with orchestration and mixing. I arranged, wrote, and performed the song. I'm incredibly happy with the result.

This song also marks the end of The Summer of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon for this year. While there will be more Mystery Dungeon songs throughout the year and the next, I'll finally take a dig at other series and games such as Mario and Xenoblade.
