New 10 Dance Colored Illustration!
When is the last time you saw a new 10 Dance illustration in color (that's not a volume cover)?! Inoue's teacher posted this sketch on 17/7 to thank fans for the positive feedback and encouragement from the latest update. It is of our two Shinyas in their summer attire and Suzuki wrapping an arm around Sugiki while holding a can of beer. I like to think that Sugiki also has his hand on Suzuki's back... They look so happy here; I hope this can come true in canon soon!
The next picture of this thread is of a subtle sneak peek at next month's update. It's a picture of a Silurian-period ancient fish... I wonder what context this would be used in, haha.

DISCLAIMER: All prices I quote from here are in GBP (Great British Pounds). Please use a converter such as Google if you want to find the equivalent in your currency! This is all my manga, not including October's haul. There's exactly 600 volumes here, plus the extras for the haul (I'm not saying how much)! I'll tell you this: I'm in need of another shelf. I watched a couple of anime when I was younger, Cardcaptor Sakura & Digimon, but I didn't know of manga counterparts. Dragon Ball Z wasn't really a thing in my life, in case you're wondering. I saw my first copies of manga at my then library in 2013 & got 2: .hack//Legend of the Twilight & The Saga of Darren Shan. They were good, but I couldn't borrow more of either, so it didn't really cross my mind afterwards. After tensions with my mum & her then fiancé were high one day, I escaped to a bookshop called Waterstones. They had a shelf full of manga! Back then, I was on a tight budget, so I didn't spend much. I got 2 omnibuses with a total of 5 volumes: Bleach Vol. 1-3 & Death Note (Black Edition) Vol. 1-2 for £19.98. Little did I know, this would be the start of my obsession. A year since I started collecting, I finished my first series: Death Note. To be fair, it's only 12 volumes long. It was perfect for me as black is my favourite colour. I loved almost everything about it, & I got the light novels & encyclopedia at a bookshop I did a work experience stint that finished just before Christmas in 2013. I had titles like One Piece (my favourite of the "Big 3"), Strawberry Marshmallow, & Yu-Gi-Oh! in my collection. I had about 50 volumes, 2 light novels, & 4 sneak peek compilations (which are no longer in my collection as I sold them). I couldn't get much due to a tight budget, as the majority of my money was my upkeep for living at home with my mother. That changed in the beginning of 2017 as I got a job! I get a bit more money, as well as from certain disability benefits available here, so I'm able to get more manga & have a fair collection! It's now one of my favourite hobbies when I've got a bit of downtime! A bit of my collection are secondhand, but they're decent! My best bargain is Lone Wolf & Cub (pic 2). I got 18 volumes (7-8, 12-16, & 18-28) for about £0.11 each! I got the last 10 on Amazon, with just one setback which was resolved a week later. It's also my oldest manga, as it was first published back in September 1970! Some of these are gifts from friends & 2 of my ex-boyfriends too! My way of organizing my manga is unique, or so I think as I've never seen anyone do the same. It's tall manga alphabetically by publisher, then title, then the same for the smaller, standard sized ones. All my manga are from 12 publishers: Dark Horse, Digital Manga Publishing, HarperCollins, Juné, Kodansha, Last Gasp, SelfMadeHero, Seven Seas, Tokyopop, Vertical, Viz Media, & Yen Press. I can't think of anything else to say, except stats of my collection, which will include this month's haul. My favourite manga is Vinland Saga by Makoto Yukimura. My least favourite is The Magic Touch by Izumi Tsubaki. My favourite mangaka is Junji Ito. My favourite art in a manga is Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue. I've got a total of 140 series, 35 of which are complete (including one-shots). I consider my rarest titles to be all but 1 of my Tokyopop titles. My most expensive manga is Death Note: All-in-One Edition (£40).
