Rocks--2009
The Tasman Glacier melts into the Tasman Lake. The waters of Tasman Lake flow into the Tasman River and flow south joining the Hooker River. The Anthropocene calls us to imagine humanity written into the rock of the Earth itself.
The Tasman Glacier remained at a constant 28 km (17 mi) in length for all of its recorded history in the 20th century, before starting its current period of rapid melting in the 1990s.
The tourist desire is a longing for the very forms of life that have been intentionally altered or destroyed by petro capitalism. A longing that becomes a mourning for the loss of nature itself by a civilization that can no longer promise a future after the tipping points have been passed.

2018年を一応振り返っておく
年が変わってから振り返ってもいいじゃない･･･（諦め）。特にこれといって語るほどの事もないのだが、定番という事で一つ。
まずイラストについては、一切描いていないので特になし。
液タブを入手してから、かなあ･･･。現時点での記事だけ見れば写真オンリーのブログにしかなってないので、今年の自分に期待（できない）。
写真については秋に入ってから一気に撮り始めた。
M10で撮影したデータを見ると、5月の次に撮ったのは9月。見事に夏は動いていない。そもそも暑いのが本当にダメなので撮影のモチベーションが全く湧かないのだ。これはこの国で暮らす限り変わらないんだろうなと半ば諦めているところはある。
9月からはおおよそ6500カットで、思っていたより少なく感じるが自分としてはよく撮っていた方だと思う。数をこなせば良いというものでもないだろうが、せっかく買ったLeicaなのだからとあちこち連れまわしてきた。結果としては前半より大分馴染んできたな、と思う。
正直M10-Pの静音シャッターが気になるのは確かだが、このまま次期モデルのPまで使い続けていきたいというのが現時点での抱負。
GRⅡはM10を本格的に使い出してからは同時に持ち出しても撮る枚数が200カットに満たない場合が多くなったが、広角の抑えとしてはやはり欠かせない存在。28mmを一本買えば良いという話でもないので、来年のGRⅢに期待しつつ最後まで使い倒す所存。
因みにリコーでの診察結果としては、5日ほど診ても症状が再現しないとのことで、そのまま戻ってきた。そんなはずはないのだが、医者の前では平気な顔をしてきたのだろうか･･･。もう一度SDカードを変えてみるなどして様子を見てみるかな。
M10のレンズに関してはなんと4本も追加することになった。元々Planar一本でガシガシ撮ってやるなどとほざいていたのだが、やはりそうはならなかった。これはMマウントのレンズラインナップが豊富なのがいけないと思うのだが、それはともかく折角なので各レンズの画と現時点での短いインプレッションなど記載しておこうかと。
作例に関しては購入順で、「このレンズのベスト」というよりは流し見でなんとなく目に留まり且つそれとなく特徴を感じるものを選んだ。
Carl Zeiss Distagon T*1.4/35ZM
F1.4 1/4000 ISO100
ともかく使うたびに関心するレンズ。絞りを開けても、本当に開放か？と思うような解像力、濃厚なトーン。露出オーバーでも破綻せず端正な画が出てくる。場合により周辺光量がかなり落ちるが、個人的にはデメリットというほどではない。
手持ちのレンズの中で絞りリングのトルクが最も上質であると思う。動かし始めは少し重めでメモリが合う瞬間にカチッと合う感じ。
欠点としてはやはりサイズと重量。特に重量が問題でボディとのバランスの悪さで数値以上に重く感じる。
そこが許容できる人なら是非お勧めしたい。サードパーティ製では高価なレンズだが、それでもLeicaのエントリークラスより安価だ。
Voigtländer HELIAR classic 75mm F1.8 VM

このレンズの写真を一つもアップしていなかったことに今気が付いた。
Classicラインのレンズだが、充分に良く写るという印象。開放で画面端に被写体を置くと流れることはあるが、そこは使い方次第。きちっとピントが合えばお、と思うような立体感のある画が撮れる。樽型の歪曲があるが、歪曲に割と厳しい自分でも許容できるレベル。
望遠でこの明るさなので重量級になるのは仕方ないところ。見た目は割と様になっていると思う。
NOKTON F1.2と同程度のボケ量ということになるが、やはり中望遠大口径の画には独特の雰囲気が漂う。価格も手頃なのでとりあえず中望遠を試したいというのにもお勧め。
Voigtländer Nokton 50mm F1.2 Aspherical VM

明らかに撮影場所が被っているが気にしない。
Planarを使っていて、もっと大口径の50mmが欲しいと思うようになり手にした一本。開放でもボケや収差が暴れず、F1.2というスペックからすると想像より扱いやすく感じられる。フリンジには悩まされることもあり、気になる場合は少し絞る必要はあるだろう。また際立って明るいレンズは絞っても周辺が気になる場合があるが、F4.0程度で充分な解像で、F5.6で文句なしの描写になる。明るさからすればサイズもよく抑えられていると思う。
歪曲収差が大きめの糸巻きで、周辺に直線を持ってくるとかなり目につく。最短距離で開放だとかなりゆるゆるで球面収差がハッキリと現れるが、これは恐らく、表現によって使い分けられる機能性として意図的に残されている感がある。
また感覚的な話でF2.0にはない雰囲気はあるのだが、使っていくとF2.0でも十分か、と思えて来る部分もあり。この辺りはよく写るとはいえやはり大口径なりの緩い部分が気になっているのかもしれないし、ピント精度の問題かもしれない。以前記載した逆光耐性の件も含めまだハッキリとしない部分が多いレンズ。
Voigtländer NOKTON Classic 40mm F1.4 S.C
F1.4 1/4000 ISO100
年末に駆け込みで購入した、4本の中で最も楽しいレンズ。
開放では線も緩くどこにピントがあるんだという感じの時もあるが、それが良い。球面収差による滲みがシチュエーションにマッチすれば撮影者の腕に関わらず雰囲気のある画が撮れる。
F4.0程度で周辺もキリッとしてきて曖昧さが消えるが、隅の隅では流れが残っており、急に線の調子が変わる。
シングルコートを選択したが、思ったよりはゴーストが出ない印象。この写真のようにうっすらと出ていて気付いていないというのもあるかもしれないが。またボケに厚みというのか量感があり、それによってただの緩い画でなくなっているという印象がある。
40mmの焦点距離について、M10にマウントすると50mmと75mmのフレームが出るわけだが、そのせいもあるのか、ちょっと広くない？という風に思う時も結構ある。使うほど50mmの柔軟さも理解できるという意味で一つ学べたのかもしれない。
小型軽量で明るく安価であり、性質を理解して手にするなら文句なしのレンズではなかろうか。
長くなってしまったが、これらもそのうちしっかりとレビュー的なものを書きたいと考えている。いつかね。
今年は年内に纏めをできたらいいな。
