(Reminders about the blog in case there are people who are gonna complain- Okay let's go-
1. The relationship
It's confirmed on the wiki that it isn't canon that the Boyfriends and Girlfriend are in a poly relationship and are just having a friendly competition on who raps better. People are free interpret these characters however they want and that's completely alright
2. What about Pico?
While I go with Beta and Pico being ex-boyfriends in the AU's story, this blog and AU was made before the fact about Pico and MB being ex-friends (and whatever's going on with Blue) was confirmed. Also, Pico getting back together with the Boyfriends after Week 3 happened isn't canon, in the original story and the mod itself
3. Personalities and interpretations
Well, as far as I'm aware, we don't know anything about these versions or their exact personalities or the entirety of the mod as a whole, so I guess we can make up how they act just by looking at them or how we think. Plus, the Minus mod is filled with characters based on their icons made into their own character
4. The shipping
Even though there's the official ship, Boyfriend X Girlfriend in this AU, of course there are going be "those" people around who dislike the "Pico X Boyfriend" ship, even tho it's confirmed they dated before
5. Lemon Demon/Monster
So, the Minus version of Lemon Demon is canoncially named William and is Skid's dad- A Minus Lemon Demon does exist in this AU but he isn't Skid's dad (however, Lila does exist) or named William and he is in love with Senpai (yes, i'm a Lemonpai shipper-). Again, this blog was made before that fact was confirmed. Although I don't mind the ship, sorry Lavenderade fans! ^^"
6. Pump the Puppet
Minus Pump is... well, a puppet. In his idle sprite with Skid, he just looked like... an inanimate object- And I'm not entirely sure how many people interpret him, but in this AU, he is concious, but he can only move his head and face, not his body, letting Skid help him with the moving
7. Who is the eldest?
It's confirmed on the wiki that MB is the oldest Boyfriend (being 21 years old), but in this AU, Beta is the oldest (by months). Before that was stated and in the making of this blog, I assumed the Boyfriends had the same age as the original Boyfriend (being 19-20 years old)
8. Brothers or friends?
I noticed that a lot of people headcanon the Minus Boyfriends as brothers (well, they're canonically not, btw-)- In this AU, they kinda treat each other as brothers (figuratively, not biologically). If you headcanon them as brothers, that's you, but this is my own personal AU, so don't correct me, pls ÓwÒ")

Chez Laurent et Isabelle Charvin // Domaine Charvin // Châteauneuf-du-pape // 33 hectares
Est-il possible d’apprendre de ses erreurs ? Echaudé par mes efforts du début de l’été j’ai tracé un parcours zigzagant – sensé m’épargner des affrontements frontaux avec le mistral – et taillé dans la longueur des étapes. 17 km aujourd’hui. Pour le coup c’est trop court. Alors, je flâne, m’arrête par exemple pour déchiffrer cette stèle : « Ici, le 18 X 1997, ont été scellées 50 bouteilles de VIN d’AOC LIRAC en commémoration du cinquantenaire, par les producteurs, négociants et confrères jaugeurs de Lirac. En 2047, que nos héritiers jaugeurs les découvrent et les lampent dignement » ; médite sur l’insistance de deux fureurs modernes : l’enfouissement et son opposé, l’extraction ; remarque en surface la grande diversité des sols : les calcaires durs et blancs qui ont laissé place au sable, les limons, les galets roulés, leurs mélanges.
Je suis d’autant moins pressé que Laurent Charvin m’a prévenu qu’il sera peu disponible, qu’il m’hébergera sans contrepartie c’est-à-dire sans performance. Je le retrouve en fin d’après-midi devant son chai, allure un peu déboitée, air préoccupé. Une poignée de main quelques échanges et la conversation s’élance gagnant peu à peu en chaleur et en débit. Nous passons rapidement entre deux rangées de cuves béton et leur couvée de rouges pour atteindre trois jarres en terre cuite venant d’Italie. « Je n’utilise pas de bois, ce n’est pas l’histoire d’ici. Nous sommes des Gallo-romains. Il suffit de creuser un peu, on trouve des tesselles partout. » Les jarres pourtant sont une nouveauté : « j’ai mis longtemps à être convaincu. Il a fallu qu’un ami me fasse découvrir ce fabriquant pour que je plonge. Pour les blancs… mais tu dois avoir soif. On a encuvé cette jarre avant-hier, tu vas voir : c’est super. » Le verre tiré me rafraîchit en effet très agréablement : rien de bourru… « Dedans il y a une parcelle de Bourboulenc, un cépage que je n’aime pas trop mais que j’ai assemblé avec une parcelle de clairette rose ». Est-ce l’évocation de la parcelle – troquée avec le Lycée agricole voisin qui la trouvait trop dure, trop pentue, pour ses apprentis vignerons – ou celle du cépage « dont certaines grappes mélangent les grains blancs et roses », quelque chose dans la voix de Laurent s’est ouvert.
Nous finissons par sortir du chai. Dans ma remorque, l’étui de cuir fabriqué par Alain Itey pour mon instrument a produit son effet : on veut savoir ce qu’il y a dedans. Je propose une courte démonstration. Elle se fera devant la maison entourée de ces belles vignes qui ont donné envie à Laurent, après un temps de formation en Bourgogne, de prendre la suite de son père : « avec trois axes : continuer la taille en gobelet et la vinification en grappes entières, utiliser le moins d’intrants possible. » La pico performance – je joue trois lunes – est l’occasion de rencontrer une partie de la famille : Isabelle, la femme de Laurent, qui travaille pour une cave coopérative, Rose la fille cadette et Lila, sa sœur, férue, comme son père de mythologie. Elle me surprend en rapprochant Rhapsode des dionysies, célébrations bacchiques à l’origine de la tragédie. J’y repenserai le lendemain en longeant l’imposant postscænum du théâtre antique d’Orange
Le jour déclinant, je m’apprête à rejoindre l’appartement que me prêtent Isabelle et Laurent. Mais le vigneron veut me montrer une parcelle toute proche de la maison. « La Charavine » ainsi que la nommait « de façon un peu dépréciative » son ancien propriétaire, est une petite merveille de complantation où tous les cépages de l’appellation Côte-du-Rhône semblent tenir conseil. Une fête transgénérationnelle avec des centenaires (123 ans pour les doyens) et des jouvenceaux – des sélections massales, faites par mon guide lui-même : « je préfère choisir mes bois et suivre chaque greffon plutôt que d’acheter des produits tout faits. » Mais comment expliquer une telle diversité ? « Elle reflète l’époque où la polyculture dominait. Une ferme n’avait souvent qu’une parcelle de vigne. Et il était naturel d’y accueillir différents cépages ».
Je pars finalement dans la fin du crépuscule. Avec un peu de poids en plus dans ma carriole : 75 cl de la cuvée Damon 2021. Le nom de la cuvée est celle de la parcelle de Grenache dont elle est issue. La vigne avait appartenu à l’arrière-grand-père Charvin mais était sortie de la famille proche par le jeu des successions. « J’ai toujours entendu mon père et mon grand-père s’en désoler. J’ai pu la racheter très récemment et nous en avons tous été très heureux. » La bouteille est maintenant débouchée. Je regarde son étiquette réalisée par la fille ainée de mes hôtes, étudiante en art à Paris. Que représente-t-elle ? Le plan de la parcelle au cadastre. Ce que Laurent appelle : « un chemin de vie. ».

Yes, I'm going to make a PicoLa comic for each version of the mods that I know of.
I could get a shitload from Hate for that, but if I remember correctly, the Wikia says that Lila and Monster are not together as a couple, but that she needs him to feed herself, while Monster is the only one who wants to have something with her.
While Pico's mission is to kill the mutants, in my version this didn't happen, and hopefully he can tolerate Lila's annoyed personality. Although he sometimes rethinks his decision to kill them all.
Thus, Flesh Monster is jealous of him, but being faithful to Lila's orders, he does not care about Pico until they are alone and try to scare him as long as he leaves his family nest.
(It goes without saying that Pico did not feel threatened by him)
