Do you take commissions?
No, I do not. I’m still an amateur artist in practice so I don’t have that kind of skill. Nor do I have the profession to even do so. I do take requests, if you want me to though! But nothing too complicated please.

How many Padres’ rotation members can you name?
Tuesdays Say Hey, Baseball looks at the Padres’ rotation, a Dodgers-Rays trade, and Yasiel Puig’s hope for 2017.
Listen, we know it’s tough to catch up on everything happening in the baseball world each morning. There are all kinds of stories, rumors, game coverage, and videos of dudes getting hit in the beans every day. Trying to find all of it while on your way to work or sitting at your desk just isn’t easy. It’s OK, though. We’re going to do the heavy lifting for you each morning and find the things you need to see from within the SB Nation baseball network, as well as from elsewhere. Please hold your applause until the end, or at least until after you subscribe to the newsletter.
* * *
Unless you’re a Padres fan — and honestly, maybe even then at this point — you probably don’t know who is in San Diego’s projected rotation. Given that, you probably also don’t know who they’ve lined up behind the current starting five in case slash when some of them falter. As a baseball fan, though, you probably do know who all of these dudes are, you just don’t know how or when they ended up trying to pitch for the Padres. It’s a real mess that says pretty clearly that San Diego isn’t serious about 2017, and none of the names they’re still trying to get change that perception whatsoever.
Roster Resource tells us the current starting five is Jhoulys Chacin (85 ERA+ from 2014-2016), Clayton Richard (split 2016 between the Cubs’ bullpen and the Padres’ rotation), Trevor Cahill (another Cubs’ reliever whose last unquestionably good season as a starter was 2012), Christian Friedrich (81 ERA+ in nearly 300 MLB innings), and Paul Clemens (a waiver pickup from 2016 who gave up way more homers than his ERA suggests). The pitchers backing this group up are similarly limited: Robbie Erlin and Colin Rea are both recovering from Tommy John surgery, and Rea is expected to miss all 2017. Their minor-league depth is a mix of purchased contracts and failed prospects that won’t put much pressure on the starting five.
They tried getting Jered Weaver to lead their rotation in 2017, according to Jon Heyman, and are interested in bringing Jake Peavy back to fill that role as well. Weaver is in the midst of a three-year slide and can’t exceed the speed limit with his fastball, while Peavy is 36 and coming off two shortened seasons that added up to an 87 ERA+ and 229 innings. This isn’t even a list of pitchers the Padres could maybe flip in July to get prospects — San Diego is real serious about this being a rebuilding year where they focus entirely on what Manuel Margot, Hunter Renfroe, and Austin Hedges can do with big-league time. That’s fine, but you think they would have tried to get maybe one pitcher they could flip in July. How have they not signed Jason Hammel for this purpose?
The Rays traded Logan Forsythe to the Dodgers, ending Los Angeles’ attempts to pry Brian Dozier from the Twins.
Jose De Leon (who would have been the centerpiece of a Dozier deal) was a high price for Forsythe, but one the Dodgers could afford.
Los Angeles had pitching prospect depth and a clear need at second, and Forsythe should fill that for them.

The Cubs added to their rotation depth, signing Brett Anderson to a one-year deal.
The Good Phight is asking Phillies’ legend Chase Utley not to sign with the Braves.
Wrestling with Curt Schilling’s on-field vs. off-field behavior is difficult for some, but this Over the Monster writer seems to have it figured out.
David Freese has been a reliable defensive presence at third, writes Beyond the Boxscore.
This isn’t quite a Best Shape of His Life piece, but Yasiel Puig is working hard to get back to being a starting outfielder.
The Giants added Korean star Jae-gyun Hwang on a split deal that will pay him more if he makes the big-league team.
Why do the Dodgers keep wanting to trade with the Phillies?
These are unconfirmed reports, but it’s the story in Dominican newspapers: looters may have left Yordano Ventura to die rather than helping him following his car crash on Sunday.

Aww, thanks Anon! ^w^That’s real nice & sweet of you! It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a message like this in my ask box (since it’s practically empty, lmao). I don’t check Tumblr often these days, so this is a very nice change of pace.

Coming up with your talk about Kat. I love the idea that she’s not an entire sex symbol. She has her looks but she’s mostly cute than sexy. Also, I’ll add that she looks like Ataribetch’s version of Daphne from Scooby-Doo.
Uhh, wrong person to talk about Gravity Rush bud. I think you should redirect this message to @scruffyturtlesreformed instead.

Top 5 Fighters Pass predictions?
This’ll come to no surprise on what I’m about to put on here. And, heh, it’s not exactly a Top 5 as we ARE getting 5 new fighters as time passes until 2019-2020.
Elma / Rex (Xenoblade Chronicles X & Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Either one of them is fine if one or both make it in.)
Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza series. We need at least one more Sega rep alongside Sonic & Bayonetta, and the Yakuza series had an HD port on Wii U in Japan.)
Neku Sakuraba (The World Ends With You. The game is a cult-classic & favorite on the DS and was recently re-released on Switch as Final Remix. We gotta have another Square-Enix rep alongside Cloud.)
One of the four new protagonists from the new Fire Emblem game coming soon (Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Just like how Corrin was put into Smash to promote Fates, this would fit in as well. But who will be chosen? Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, or Claude?)
Bandana Waddle Dee (Kirby series. This is a very easy one as this Waddle Dee is very unique. He obviously wears a bandana to stand out and differentiate from other Waddle Dees, he’s an ally that helps out Kirby during his adventures, and wields a spear that he can fight and use to fly.)

Hey, I completely know where you are coming from. In fact I used to be one of the haters for XC2, used to be. The hate is completely out of control and unnecessary. While I believe that XC2 is not the best game, I still love most of the characters in the game, the story, and fixed some of the issues I had in XC1. I loved the fandom because it was small but that fandom is slowly turning into the fandoms I used to enjoy, like UNDERTALE and SU. Thank you for being it up.
No problem.

i love all three games in the series as much as the next guy, but the xenoblade fandom is starting to remind me of the fe fandom at the rate all the fans clash with each other over funky anime rpgs and it's turning me away from the fandom entirely :/
I know what you mean anon. The Nintendo JRPG fandom has to stop this. Like we all have our different opinions on certain titles, but I no longer want to see people dissing each other’s “waifu” & “husbando” and bashing on the game for looking something like an anime. Like, they are games made in Japan for godsake! Of course the characters are gonna look like something out of an anime or manga.

What happened this time?
Short answer: http://gomigomipomi.tumblr.com/post/175278435401/joulejay-gomigomipomi-agent-8s-first
joulejay had edited a Splatfest artwork from Tumblr artist gomigomipomi without permission, regarding the skin color of Marina. It sparked a lot of arguments. Gomi was even being civil by explaining how colors work and such. joulejay didn’t listen, and it started tons of controversy over it, even to the point they’re getting threats and blocking people that are both calmly and harshly disagreeing with Jay.

I want to play the Xenoblade series, but don't know where to start. I've already watched videos on Xenoblade X. In what order do I begin?
Well since you said you’ve already watched Xenoblade Chronicles X, I’ll just get this one out of the way:You don’t really have to play the first Xenoblade game since X is a separate universe from the main series. X makes some references and throwbacks to Xenoblade (such as Lin’s Monado-shaped hair clips) and Xenogears & Xenosaga. Now with that aside…
Xenoblade Chronicles - A good place to start. If you’re lucky, you can pick up a copy of it at EB Games (or Gamestop if you’re American), on the Wii U’s Virtual Console, and on the new Nintendo 3DS. If you’re gonna look up a guide on how to finish this game, try your best to avoid spoilers. However if you don’t care for spoilers, then that’s fine. If you’re already familiarized with Shulk and the Monado in Super Smash Bros., then you basically have an idea of how the games work. The reason why you want to avoid spoilers when looking things up on how to play and beat this game is because the Xenoblade series is about experiencing the story and immersing yourself in the world of the Titans, the characters and lore. You’ll be playing these games for hundreds of hours. Being a completionist for these games will be no easy task.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - If this is your first Xenoblade game, that’s actually fine. But when you reach and finish Chapter 9, stop and save your game at the save screen, as the beginning cutscene of Chapter 10 contains MAJOR spoilers of the first game. I do recommend you get the Expansion Pass DLC (and the free Japanese audio DLC if you wish) as it contains some helpful items, as well as the Torna DLC story. And with said DLC, you’ll basically be busy for many hours. Again, try to avoid spoilers when looking up guides.
Torna ~ The Golden Country (DLC) - A special DLC prequel story to Xenoblade Chronicles 2, that it even has it’s own separate game that was recently released. Nintendo reps said back in E3 that playing this game is a good place to start before playing the main game, I highly disagree on that. The DLC story itself is practically a major spoiler. Again, if you don’t care for spoilers, then that’s fine for you. If you do decide to pick up the physical copy of Torna, it contains download codes of the Expansion Pass for the main game. You can basically beat this game in 12+ hours or less, but if you want to 100% complete it (which is sort of worth it), it’ll take you at least over 40+ hours.

Can we just agree that the basic battle theme for the Torna dlc is god tier? Like, how is it so good???
I know, right?! And the Torna DLC is just a prequel.

Could you clarify who and what are Flesh Eaters and Blade Eaters?
Yeah no problem. I’ve been seeing so much confusion over this topic.
To get this one out of the way first; Rex is NOT a Blade Eater. When he came into contact with Pyra’s Core Crystal on the Aegis Sword, he somehow managed to resonate with her, but in the process he got killed by Jin. In a purgatory-like state, Pyra offered half of her life force to Rex so that he can be revived and Pyra can awake, making Rex the Driver of the Aegis. Because of this, you can obviously see half of the Aegis Core Crystal in the shape of an X on Rex’s chest. Since Pyra offered her life force, whenever Rex gets hurt or injured, the pain is shared with Pyra and Mythra. They even share the same scars, despite Pyra and Mythra not getting physically injured.
Flesh Eaters are unique Blades that have been fused with human cells, giving them unique abilities. The practice was first founded in the kingdom of Judicium before the Temperantia Titan fell. The practice later continued on the Indoline Titan. When a Blade becomes a Flesh Eater, their Core Crystal becomes a half mixture of blue & red, and they are able to become Drivers on their own. When a Flesh Eater’s Driver dies, they can continue to live on. However the success of becoming a Flesh Eater is very slim, resulting in losing their immortality and gain rapid-aging.The most notable Flesh Eaters are Nia, Jin, Cole (originally called Minoth), Akhos and Patroka.- Cole/Minoth is canonically the first Flesh Eater seen in both the Torna DLC and the main story. He was once an enemy to Addam and Mythra, but later became a Blade for Addam. He wields dual daggers that can act as ether pistols. 500 years later cutting to the main story, he lost his immortality and gain the rapid-aging. He was originally a mercenary that worked together with Vandham.- Jin is the second to become a Flesh Eater. His Driver, Lora, became critically injured and on the brink of death after the Aegis War. Not wanting to forget her and be forced back into his Core Crystal, he had no choice but to “eat” Lora’s heart, and thus Jin became a Flesh Eater by having Lora’s human heart in his body and placed her body in suspended animation inside an ice crystal. This changed Jin’s crystal from blue to fully red on his forehead, and awakened numerous abilities as well as a new form. Jin wandered Alrest 500 years as a lonely man. He was later approached by Malos, and the two of them formed the Torna terrorist organization, in an attempt to reach Elysium.- Nia is the third Flesh Eater. She was originally a Blade to a lord of the Gormott Province who had a daughter that Nia referred to her as a sister. The daughter was sick and passed after some time. Before the lord were to pass away as well, he made Nia “eat” his daughter’s body, thus Nia became a Flesh Eater Gormotti. In her Blade form, Nia has a Scimitar weapon allowing Rex to drive her and use her abilities. She and her Blade Dromarch were originally part of the Torna organization before joining Rex and Pyra on their quest to Elysium.- Akhos and Patroka are the fourth and fifth Flesh Eaters. They were originally Blades to two siblings, and had to “eat” their flesh before they died. Because of this, it resulted in Akhos seeing Patroka as a sister but she doesn’t see it the same way though.. As Blades, Akhos as a weapon called the Calamity Scythe that can shift into 3 different weapons, and Patroka wields a Cobra Bardiche that can shift between a Naginata and a scimitar. Both of them became a part of the Torna terrorist organization.
Zeke himself coined this term on the spot in Chapter 7, and that is of course Blade Eaters. Blade Eaters are when Drivers have half of their Blade’s Core Crystal surgically placed in their bodies. In this case, half of Pandoria’s crystal is placed over Zeke’s heart when he nearly died. Amalthus was the one who saved their lives. Whether or not this has to do with their powers as Driver and Blade, Zeke and Pandoria are incredibly strong. The second one to note is Mikhail. 500 years ago, Mikhail had Core Crystals fused into his body when he was a child. Today, he looks like a young adult and is capable of summoning weapons called Infinity Fans, and has a crow wing shaped crystal visible on his chest since he has the powers of a Blade. Mikhail was originally a part of both Team Torna and the Torna terrorists.Amalthus is the last Blade Eater. He has half of Haze/Fan la Norne’s crystal visible on his forehead, granting himself access to use Haze’s power-rending abilities. He later went mad with power by “eating” more Core Crystals and turned himself into a monster.
