A very rough phantom theater doodle cause it's all I can think about at the moment.
Pretty much just an edgy redraw of maestros "mortal" photo lmao.

[A Heart Full Of Love] Raoul de Chagny x reader.
[SERIES MASTERLIST]
Tumblr media
Chapter Summary: As the young woman journeyed her way towards The Phantom's lair, she couldn't help but dwell on her loneliness and her friendship with The Phantom.
Fandom: Phantom Of The Opera
"Oh.. Christine... Forgive me..." A man said, his voice painfully shaking.
A man like he would never allow himself to look vulnerable, as pathetic as he was now. Not when his face had already made him a pathetic creature in his eyes that even Christine, his beloved angel, his muse feared him..
The music that played throughout The Phantom's lair was an orchestra of rage, agony, desperation and sadness. It could be heard even throughout the entrance passageway of the lair, despite the distance.
As the young woman journeyed back to the place she considered home, the music grew more softer, sounding sweet as that of a mother's lullaby, almost as if he, who was playing was alerted of her presence.
The more she neared, the more she felt something had changed.. A feeling of sadness and desperation that radiated throughout the air. The woman stopped walking once she heard the man whisper to his breath about something she couldn't quite dechipher.
As she entered the Lair, she finally understood what the poor, heartbroken man was whispering.
"This damned face..."
She remembered vividly when Erik lead the young Christine Daae to his lair, but that was all she knew, for she resigned herself to her bedchambers early, and to respect her maestro's privacy. Though he had never explicitly told her, it was obvious that the masked man was fascinated with the young opera singer.
She had been tasked to deliver the message to Madame Giry from Erik that Christine were to return, and that she were to be granted the lead role of The Countess in II Muto, and if these requests were not obliged, tragedy would happen.
Though she respected Christine for her voice, she wondered often why The Phantom was so fascinated, so obsessed with her. This curiosity could be seen as jealousy, but it was far from that.
Of course, she didn't know the girl that much, if not, at all to judge her, but, if she were to be honest, she didn't really know anyone in The Opera Theater other than Madame Giry, though she only ever spoke with the silver-tongued woman when Erik asks of her to do so. Ever since she had met The Renowned Opera Ghost, she tend to be secluded from the rest, a trait she undoubtedly got from the mysterious man.
Though, under that quiteness, the young woman felt lonely at times, feeling trapped all alone at the Phantom's lair, like in a fairy-tale where the princess wishes for the prince to save her, though, this place was the safest home she's got.
Although she never admitted it, she longed for friendship with the others in The Opera Populaire but no matter how much she wished to be with the others, she could never seem to do it..
But she'd convince herself that she was content with everything that she had, that she was being ungrateful. She had Erik, her guardian, the man who took care of her from her childhood, the one who saved her from the cruelty of others, taught her everything she needed to know and though he rarely showed it, she was sure that he too, cared for her as she does him, if not even more.
But sometimes, even his company wasn't enough. While he was very entertaining to converse with, especially with his expertise of architecture, music, and much more, she longed to speak to those of her age, to speak to her of the recent gossips, and dramatics, someone she could tease for fancying one of the male dancers, and they could do the same too! Not that she fancied any of the male dancers, she was far too secluded to know anyone in The Populaire.
But the man that she met earlier... She couldn't understand what was about him that made her feel warm and giddy. How foolish! She didn't even know his name, for she forgot to ask him as she hurried away cowardly and immediately.
She didn't know what came to her the moment she decided to flee. Was it because of embarasment? Or the overwhelming feeling she felt with him. Surely, he must have felt the same as she, god, he must think her a fool!
But at the same time.. That overwhelming feeling felt great.. She felt happy, almost as if there were stars despite being showered by the morning day.. Just thinking about it, she wished to feel that happiness again, to see that man again!
Then, a loud noise bought her back to her senses.
Flinching from the sound, she immediately ran inside the lair to see what had happened, and the sight saddened her.
There, stood her maestro on the ground, clutching onto his chest, whispering about something she couldn't exactly hear properly. But then,
"Oh, Christine.... This face.. This loathsome face that poisons your love for me and turn your affections to fear..." He cried out like a wounded wolf, as he clutched on the mask that he worn, his fingers trembling angrily as he does so.
"This damned face! If only i were born beautiful, she wouldn't have ran from me!" He roared out angrily, causing the young woman's heart to beat much more rapidly as she grew anxious at his rising temper.
"...Erik?" She spoke out towards her closest friend, her voice laced with worry.
"Ah... Its you." He says, as he tries to compose himself in front of the young woman she saw as his own, it'd be mortifying- humiliating for her to see the man who acted as her mentor be in a vulnerable decision. Though, no matter how he tried, the growing rage was still there.
"I take it that things didn't work out as you've planned.." She spoke, her voice having a more pitiful tone, though the worry was still there.
She took cautious steps towards her unstable friend, fumbling on her fingers anxiously while doing so. "Its- Its alright.. I'm sure that Miss Daae was just shocked.. As all would be to things they've not expected or experienced before.." She continued, trying to comfort the man.
If she were to be honest, she herself was frightened upon seeing him unmasked for the first time, though, every child would have been have you not seen such monstrosity before. But as she spent more time with the man, she grew not to be bothered by his face, but rather, thank the man for all he's done for her by being there for him every day.
"I'm fine.. Just- leave me be for a bit.." The man responded, though he looked far from fine.
"....I see.." She just nodded, and decided to do what he asked of her, already fearing that he might do something horrible.
"I shall prepare your food then retire to my chambers, feel free to call for me if you decide that you are better." She spoke fast, almost as if she was rushing.
"I will, thank you, Y/N." He responded softly, as he stood up, still trying to compose himself. The poor girl's already seen too many of his temper tantrums, the least he could do was to treat her with respect by not acting like a pathetic fool in front of her.
As she nodded and left to do what she had told him she'd do, he couldn't help wonder what she told him.. It pained him to see that she, someone he took care of as his own was once scared of him, of his face..
This deformed face.. The face he never asked for, but was given to by the cruelest lords! Such kind, passionate and talented man as he was shunned down by humanity only because of this deformity!
He could recount the days he wished that he wasn't himself.. That he was just a normal commoner who had normal attributes to himself. But alas, it would never happen. For the gods never listen, not to people like him.
notes: 2nd chapter is out! I decided to focus this chapter more on Erik and Y/N's relationship and how he connects with Y/N and her eventual romance with Raoul. This is also on my ao3, christinesdaaed!

Selph's Secret Agent of theater drama and Maestro. Is nether male or female, but goes by the behavior or tone of voice. They choose not to bring conflict, less others push their limits and bring out their true nightmarish nature. This phantom bat is pretty good in holding an audience. Their main skills are being highly sociable and even dramatic sometimes, all for the sake in what goes on within the worlds. Their other ability is to turn their entire body into a shadow like creature, also known as the phantom form. It cannot be harmed unless hit with a strong source of light. Another is unleashing a powerful Supersonic Screech to keep others in place, or make them unable to move for a bit. They posses their own minions of bat like creatures called Bity Bites and Fiendish Strikers.

Would The Phantom and Adam have the same taste in music? Imagine them composing music? What would it sound like?
I imagine it's different though there would be overlap.
Adam would be fond of folk music. Simple tunes that can be easily played or sung. He finds charm in things like sea shanties and the hymns sung by laborers as they work. Something about the way humans create beauty in even the harshest environments touches him deeply.
Erik is a true maestro, he lives for the theater and his greatest love is and always will be the opera. Heartbreaking arias and sweeping romantic symphonies that carry the soul on long tragic or triumphant journeys are his favorite.

Some thoughts on Phantom 10/8
I was lucky enough to see Phantom on Broadway this past Saturday and wanted to record a few thoughts!
Cast: Paul A Schaefer as the Phantom, Emilie Kouatchou as Christine, John Riddle as Raoul, Raquel Suarez Groen as Carlotta, Carlton Moe as Piangi, Erica Wong as Meg, Nehal Joshi as Andre, Craig Bennett as Firmin, Maree Johnson as Mme Giry
The Overture really Hits Different when it may be your last time hearing it live with a full orchestra
Raquel’s Carlotta is just. So good. She lives the role, every detail is carefully thought through and executed. Obsessed
Erica Wong is an adorable Meg. I was bummed not to see Sara Esty again because I adore her Meg, but Erica was so cute and also very thoughtful with her acting. The Megstine hug at the beginning of Angel of Music was !!!!!!!!
Emilie. My love. I have been wanting to see her live for almost a year and she completely lived up to the hype, just incredible. Her Think of Me cadenza was so beautiful, the notes were hit wonderfully and her smile just lit up the stage, it genuinely brought me to tears, which I was not expecting.
John is always doing The Most to be kind and supportive, a genuine friend to Christine. You can tell that he and Emilie are friends off stage, they have wonderful chemistry and you’re really rooting for these crazy kids (yes, even us E/C and Raoul/Giry shippers). Their Little Lotte is sweet, and I have it on good authority that his delivery has become a bit more horny since Jordan Donica’s Raoul which. good. We love to see it
Emilie full on smiles during the Mirror, she is very happy to see him
Much has been said about Paul’s Phantom. Or, well, little has been said because people seem to think little of him. He has a really lovely voice, pretty classical musical theater (as opposed to Ben who’s voice veers a little on the rock side for my taste). His Act 1 was not fantastic. The title song was fine, an inkling of Hand(TM) at the beginning of Christine’s cadenza, an okay hat toss, and then. unfortunately. a very meh cape twirl followed by him folding the cape. The disappointment in our box was palpable. He definitely is a more conventional phantom, Doing the Blocking, and there were moments in Music of the Night where I was getting into it, and then he would like. walk. and it was just the most pedestrian walk you’ve ever seen. and it didn’t work. He also seemed to not know what to do with his arms when he wasn’t doing the blocking which. you could argue is on-brand for Erik but I don’t think it was a Choice. Emilie’s O-faces during MOTN were excellent though, she definitely brought the energy level up, and he quite tenderly tucked her under the cape. STYDI was fine, the plorp was a bit disappointing but he slithered on the floor quite well so we’ll call it a break even
Notes with this cast is great! Nehal, the new Andre, has such an anxious energy about him and I relate on a deeply personal level. Raquel crushed it as always, and Carlton is so great at the little Piangi moments he gets. John is such an attentive actor, he’s always in character even when he’s not the focus, I love watching him in the background of scenes because he clearly loves this role so much! The end of Prima Donna also brought me to tears because it’s just. so good with this cast.
Nothing much for Il Muto except John smiles when Emilie is doing the little pillow toss/plump. I hate them I love them. Also Raquel is still wonderful. They’ve been really playing up the “Maestro bring the ballet forward”/Andre tutuphobia and it hits every time, we really need some levity at this point in Act 1 and Nehal’s yelps were very endearing and hysterical. Shout out to the ballerina who notices the Phantom shadow and then turns around to hit her pose with a forced smile, she brings down the house, give her a raise
AIAOY is just. so cute. John and Emilie are so great together, it’s a very tender rendition, they smile, they giggle, they look like they’re having fun. The first kiss is tender and timid and then Emilie goes for it for the second one and you just want to say “get it girl.” AIAOY reprise gave us some good whimpers, nothing too special but nothing bad either. The gasp at the angel is always a highlight for me
Erica has a leopard print-like Meg Masquerade costume (also like an ombre-ish pink/purple I think?) and it’s important for the world to know this
John Riddle ships Raoul/Giry more than I do, the sexual tension during Mme Giry’s Tale is palpable, and it’s important for the world to know this
Emilie’s “Twisted every way” was heartbreaking, her acting is always phenomenal but your heart aches for her in that moment omg. I cannot sing her praises enough, run to see her if you haven’t yet. Her “Wishing” felt so meaningful given [gestures vaguely around] and if I hadn’t been so dehydrated by that point in the show I would have cried. Really fantastic
The trio for “Wandering Child” was so good, their voices blended really well and it was goosebump-inducing in the best way
Okay. PONR. Paul definitely had a Red Bull or something during intermission because there was energy!! We had some Hands. We had a body shudder when Christine went up behind him. He put his hands on his stomach! His proposal was begging her omg. I was here for it
Emilie was also great. I do enjoy the new blocking and I think she played it really well, showing the evolution of Christine’s realization and feelings over the course of a short time. She really lingers when putting her hand over his mask to show that she Knows, and her realization is one of anger (justifiably). She shoves him close to her at the end, and it’s just. so good.
Final Lair time! (this is. so long omg). Paul was very hunched over and skeleton man during the boat ride, good stuff! It felt like he aged 10+ years since the unmasking. He had some interesting deliveries, his tone shifted A Lot throughout the scene which I really enjoyed, very sarcastic when Raoul showed up versus very monotonous post-kiss. When Emilie went to hug him post-”why make her lie to you to save me,” he almost violently flinched away? I can’t describe it but it was like he couldn’t stand for her to touch him. He also waited a good amount of time post-kiss to release Raoul, good build up in tension. A nice “I love you” post-ring return, and he full on got down on the floor to touch his face to the veil for a veil sniff, which we have to love. Overall just much more engaging and emotive than Act 1, I really enjoyed his performance here
Emilie was also super fantastic, her “tears of hate” was so so so angry, if someone sang like that at me I would simply melt into the ground. Her going for the hug (that’s how I choose to interpret that part anyways) was also interesting, desperate but you could still tell she was pissed. I was angled away from her for most of the scene unfortunately so I couldn’t see all of her acting, but vocally wonderful
John has so much swagger in his totally unbuttoned shirt like sir this is not the time (but also good for him). He also continues to commit to looking/sounding like he’s full on dying in the noose, I really enjoy a more active Raoul in this scene as opposed to Raouls who are just. there. He’s just wonderful
Overall, a lovely time! I was expecting very little from Paul and he was better than these very low expectations, especially in the second act. I also really don’t care for Ben’s interpretation so I was happy to see something new. Emilie was just incredible, lovely singing and great acting, one of my favorite Christines for sure. The rest of the cast was also great, the energy was fantastic, especially considering it was a matinee
Other things: people were standing. They paid like $40(?) to stand for 2.5 hours omg. I’m not over it. Packed house, standing room tickets. The audience was also so into the show. We do not want it to leave Broadway </3

Creepsters AU - Important Students Part 2
Lila: The daughter of Satan, among Lila’s many demonic powers is a knack for making people believe every word she says. A dedicated ally of the creepsters, she is in a loving relationship with the Maestro. Lila also has a talent for manipulation, which she uses to procure valuable assets for her friends.
Thorne: A girl who’s had a VERY rough go in life, Thorne is GhostRose’s twin sister and the object of her obsession. She despises anything and everything to do with her sister, and wishes nothing more than to see her taken down. A bit of a pessimist, she isn’t quick to trust people, but is very clever and a skilled fighter, making her a valuable ally.
Aurore: A kooky witch with a caring streak, Aurore wields power over the weather, not unlike her girlfriend Mireille. A close friend of Mylene, she often helps her with spells for the heroes. As strange as she can be, including a bizarre tendency to address herself in the third person, Aurore is a loyal friend and a force to be reckoned with against the creepsters.
Mireille: A cool and zen-like witch, Mireille is not one to show much emotion. Some exceptions to this are her girlfriend, Aurore, who they share their power over the weather with and their best friend Mylene. Mireille loves to make mischief with her magic, but is firmly on the hero’s side, helping Mylene in assisting the trio with their potions.
Jean: A dedicated drama student with a love for modern musicals, Jean has a strong mistrust for ghosts and spirits. It stems from the shame that his ancestor is the Phantom. He loves to sing, especially with his beloved boyfriend, Austin T. They prefer to stay out of the monster-fighting business, as it's not really their scene.
Austin T: Jean’s boyfriend, Austin T is a shy boy with a passion for theater. Suffering from anxiety, he often finds himself in fits of worry, especially now that his wicked ancestor has entered the picture. An introvert, it takes him a while to make friends, and those he does have, his fellow Austins, often assist him with bold romantic gestures.
Zoe: The half sister to Chloé, Zoé has to put up with a lot of crap, which can cause her to unleash her snarky side. She’s not afraid to put Chloe in her place when she has to, especially when she’s messing with her partner, Cosette. Zoe also has a love for listening to and singing rock music, which she shares with Cosette.
Ismael: The defacto leader of the Buster Squad, Ismael is quick on his feet and quick at thinking on them as well. Typically wrangling his more eccentric teammates when they get out of hand, Ismael also has a snarky side, which shows when he gets into it with Simon!
Denise: The biggest and strongest of the buster crew, Denise is also the least afraid of ghosts! Always ready to charge into battle, they’ll do what they have to to protect their friends. Especially their boyfriend, Simon, a fellow ghost buster who they like to lovingly tease.
Simon: The Buster Squad’s resident gadget genius, Simon is a logic-minded boy with a bit of a sarcastic streak. His tendency to plan every little detail contests with his partner Denise’s tendency to charge in headfirst, though he still adores them. He serves as a kind of apprentice to Mendeliev, who he assists with proton packs and other tech.
Cosette: The most energetic and enthusiastic of the Buster crew, Cosette has a deep fascination with spirits that prevents her from fearing them. They serve as Bustier’s apprentice, often accompanying her on ghost observations. It is very loving and protective of their girlfriend Zoé.
Reshma: Nearly as wealthy as Chloe, but ten times as nice, Reshma serves as the big sister figure for her class. She keeps an eye on all her classmates and helps to preserve calm when the creepsters cause trouble. At times, the pressure of needing to uphold her perfect image can be too much, but her friends are there to keep her grounded.
Lacey: A girl from East London, Lacey is a hot-blooded girl who’ll mouth off at any of the creepsters if she gets the chance! She’s like an aloof big sister to her class, teasing them good-naturedly but looking out for them all the same.
And there’s the last group of important students for this AU! Me and Weeby had a great time making the summaries, and we hope you enjoy. As always, please reblog, reply, post and ask to share the content. @artzychic27 @msweebyness

Come to see Maestro, have you? 🎹🏚️✨
Tumblr media
Idk how many people know about this but the amusement park Kings Island used to have a ride called “Phantom Theater”
It was very similar to Haunted Mansion, but with a theater theme. The main character of the attraction was The Maestro, and he had a very cool design.
The ride was closed down in 2002, and replaced with “Boo Blasters”.
But they it brought it back as a stage show called “Phantom Theater: Encore” in 2022-2023
I’ve kinda been fixating on Phantom Theater recently..

Hello Angel ! I’m sorry it took so long for me to reply, I just woke up actually 💔🍓 !
I’m not studying German no, I’m studying English actually ! That’s really sweet how curious you are about me, I’m the same towards you really since I’ve rarely heard of someone who was into literature, especially such specific types in the same way I was- It’s refreshing ! And it makes for good conversation!
I’m happy you find comfort in Otello. It’s truly particular but a undeniable masterpiece- What is the book about ? Tell me everything 🍓 A dear friend of mine loves Moomins so I know what it is ! It looks extremely cozy, I should give it a watch / read !
Gothic literature is amazing, one of my favorite genres probably. My favorite book happens to be Wuthering Heights actually, I don’t know if you’ve read it ? 🍓
Don’t apologize for the pics really, I’m already grateful you took the time to show them to me, they’re perfect ! Do you happen to study music ? Or have any plan in doing so ? Please do tell me, if you want to of course !
Mmmh as French artists I listen to I would recommend "Trop beau" by Lomepal and "Je suis Malade" by Lara Fabian, two of my favorite songs 🫶 Do recommend me some music as well, I’m not too well versed into the emo genre haha !
Don’t worry, I was sleeping myself and I just opened my eyes.
When I was younger I didn’t appreciate literature, I started getting more into it after seeing and reading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. At the time there was this girl in my class who was extremely smart, she was deeply into pink floyd and queen. I clearly remember how hungry she was for black and white movies, her passion towards science and I liked to listen to her. But clearly that at some point the madness won over her. She changed school and in general people misunderstood her, you know how vicious children can be. After that event I decided to improve myself and start reading more. I don’t have a certain reason but maybe to some extent she inspired me to improve.
The book it’s mostly a summary of the life of these two women who live together, it talks about their daily life in Finland. Both of them are eccentric, one is an artist who has tons of ideas/hobbies but never finish anything. And the other one is deeply into movies. All the chapters tell a different story and I found it extremely curious and refreshing, even though I prefer other genres but I like reading all kinds of books.
Of course I know Wuthering heights! I love Emily Brontë, especially her poetry. I always have with me a tiny book with her poems when I need to refresh my mind when I’m in the midst of creating. But my eternal appreciation for Oscar Wilde and Edgar Allan Poe is greater than anything else.
I study music to some extent. I have a vocal coach and I’m taking piano classes. Actually with maestro I was referring to my mother’s fiancé. He’s a well affirmed lyrical singer and I enjoy to talk to him when I feel troubled. As we are both artists in our own way we understand each other. I have a lot of questions and I think he’ll resolve all my current concerns. After I finish my current studies I want to try to enroll in a music conservatory. Maybe I’ll become like the Phantom of the Opera and start living under a theater - obviously a joke, I’m just having fun.
Thanks for your recommendations, I’ll let you know when I listen to them! <3
