i know for a fact that you’re not talking about me right now because i have never once in my life expressed any form of hatred towards Brie Larson. i have been a fan of her since 2015 - way before Captain Marvel was released or even announced. i abhor the hate that she gets (mainly from dudebros) simply for being a strong, powerful female so don’t tell me that i’m on harsh on her because i never have been.

as for Sia, whilst i’ve never spoken about her on this blog, she rightfully deserves the criticism and hatred she gets. she is an awful human, not to mention the fact that she is extremely abelist and also a predator. there’s a plethora of threads (mainly on twitter) about how problematic she is so feel free to educate yourself on her.

in regards to Gal Gadot, again, i have never expressed neither hatred nor blind support for her either. i know some of what she has said and i know her stance behind various things. and whilst i do not completely support her, i do not hate her either. my love for Gal, specifically, fluctuates. she was one of my comfort people for so long (for over 10 years) - mainly during her Fast days since that’s one of my favourite film series. and she still provides some form of comfort for me - as much as i wish she didn’t.

that being said, i do not support any of the things that she has said or done. however, i have gotten opinions from several of my friends who are Israeli and so on, aka, the people whom we actually have to listen to regarding Gal. and they have expressed their love for her and said that she was only a fitness trainer (or there abouts) whilst working for IDF and it’s not something she could have prevented lest she wanted to be imprisoned. and there has been so much more that they have said; the bottom line being that they still support Gal. so i have taken them at their word but again, my support for her still wavers.

regardless, at the end of the day, do not come to this blog with an argument where you do not even have all of the facts. i am a person of colour who is also a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and i will rightfully speak out and spread awareness/resources where possible.

please take your hatred someplace else.
