Re: Your Addams Family Post, I now have the mental image of Gomez pretty much adopting Hob as another brother/cousin/what have you. "Children! Met your new Uncle!"

It starts with the auction.

Hob doesn't think of himself as a collector, but he's also self-aware enough that his doing so is more of a defense mechanism than anything else. Because he does. He collects. He can't help himself -- so much of his life can only be traced backwards through the shapes he's left behind, his self, of a necessity, always needing to vanish into the background. He follows his own history through letters to Dear Robert Gadlyn, portraits painted with one of his hats in the background, an authentic Victorian jacket supposedly worn by Wilde himself, and which Hob vividly remembers shucking from Oscar's shoulders, leaving it to puddle forgotten on the floor while they'd kissed in sweet silence on the settee.

So when he gets an email from his friend Kev at Hansons, a "check this book out mate" sort of deal with an eyes emoji appended to it, Hob is already intrigued. Kev is good at finding him the more esoteric things for his not-collection, and hasn't steered him wrong before, and he's not disappointed when he opens the link to find a listing for a book. A book, specifically, from the 1600s. Being an Account of the Dread Pirate Sylvia, her Ancestors, her Descendants, and Her Pets, it says, though it's not the title that catches his eye so much as the provided scans of some of the pages. The handwriting is beautiful, flowing and elegant and heavy on the page, and it makes his heart ache for a time before keyboards and typewriters, when gorgeous penmanship could be counted as a virtue and not just a hobby. There are sketches of fantastical sea beasts, navigational maps, the most beautifully-rendered charcoal drawing of an orca he's ever seen, and.

And a drawing of him.

Not him as he was in 1699, when this was apparently written, but him in 1374. Him, younger, fresh-faced, just a slip of a beard still, his head tilted back, laughing. Great great etc grandmother's cousin, says a caption beneath it, in that same heavy and flowing hand. Late 1300s? Must track him down

Twenty-four hours later, he's the proud owner of a fantastically well-preserved diary/travelogue/grimoire, having shelled out a significant amount of funds to even get the thing, on account of some American trying to outbid him at every turn. The contents of the email, though. Are, to say the least, alarming.

If you're interested in antiques of rich and unusual history, I am certain I can provide. Only it contains one of very few references to a lost branch of our family, the Lady Penelope's great great etc grandmother and her kin, and I, being invested in genealogy, am eager to explore this hidden part of our family tree.

Absolutely not, Hob thinks, shutting his laptop with a click. Absolutely buggering bloody fuck not, he thinks, shoving a sweater into his suitcase, because it's winter, and it's Chicago, and he has no idea what sort of weather to expect. This is fucking insanity, he thinks, hands folded in his lap on the plane.

What are you doing? he asks himself, as the door to the grand gothic manor opens, and Hob, who has just trekked a portion of a mile through a swamp and had to kick an alligator to keep it from lunging at his suitcase, looks down at the man who had identified himself in emails as Gomez Addams, his. His relative. Somehow, far distant, but his.

"Robert Gadling," he says, with obvious relish, and Hob feels himself hooked by the crook of his elbow, hauled into the foyer with surprising force. "Come in! Come in! Children! Come meet your new uncle!"

He has younger siblings James M. Hanson and Nina Hanson.) The genealogy is wrong on a lot of facts for Nikki and Isaac respectively. But her "No. 1" goal for "Penny & Me (Moonlight Version)" was to make sure her presence was the right fit before she dived into the music video. "When she signed on to do it, [she said], 'I don't want it to be about me. "Those who know Strong Enough to Break understand that we wrote 80 songs and recorded a lot of them for the album. It was a lot," he says. "So we said, 'How do we reconnect to this chapter in the band's history? Well, one of the biggest things we can do is take more of the songs that probably should have been on that record and put them in this context.' " With the new album and tour, Zac tells PEOPLE, "It feels like we're starting maybe our third act here after 20 years of indie. You go, 'It may be a little different than we thought, and here's the list of stuff we thought was going to happen when we launched the label and we put out this record.' " "Some of them are the same, a lot of them are very different, but we're here and I think it's going to be an amazing tour," he adds. "It's going to be really, really fun." Underneath: Complete arrives via Hanson's 3CG Records on Friday, Oct. 4, and is available for preorder now. The Underneath: Experience Tour kicks off Thursday, Oct. 3 in Minneapolis (featuring special guests Matthew Sweet and Phantom Planet) and runs through Monday, Nov. 11, concluding in Los Angeles. Tickets are on sale Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. local time, with a Hanson.net members presale beginning Saturday, June 8.

The Airship Andalusia is all about stories -- stories packed with outlandish steampunk stuff, cool sci-fi tech, wild post-apocalyptic paraphernalia, smart, beautiful, gifted and outrageously muscular women, and the largest collection of women with bulging, veiny, striated monster meat mallets anywhere! Yeah, and we don't take ourselves too seriously, too. Every story and character is created with a bit of silly, lighthearted humor. Case in point: while there are only a few women on the planet who have calves close to the size of those of our characters, we fully recognize that these bodies -- and the thighs and calves that support them -- are pure works of fiction. When you seek to create stories (and not just images of naked muscular women fighting, lifting, walking down a crowded street, working out, wrestling or doing whatever while completely naked), it means you need to strive to create different kinds of images; images that work together to illustrate a story. One of our fans (thank you, JeffG), suggested that we post images in sequences so you get an inkling of the story they are telling. We thought that was an interesting idea. So, here are a few of our latest characters in five-image sequences. These images are from scenes within much larger stories that are currently in production. Enjoy! The normal album: 4/10 not my fav but def has great music

Public void 8/10: absolutely obsessed with the album… but some songs just aren’t for me personally but I love Penelope so 😍

Animal kingdom: 10/10. That’s it.

Hamaliton: 9/10 love the musical so very much…. Some songs are a no and just drag (the second part of the musical)

Six: -5000/10 I really don’t like six. I tried really hard to like it but as a history nerd. Some of the information is false and they skip some important parts in history. But that’s the history. The music… it’s ok.

Dear Evan Hanson: 6.5/10 definitely good and the music ❤️❤️ but not my favorite. I didn’t like the movie but the irl musical is beautiful.

‘ You talk a lot of crap for someone pinned on their back, ‘ she states this very matter of factly as a grin curls its way onto her dainty features. She didn’t think she would win and neither did he; a very surprised, yet highly impressed smirk is staring up at her, though. ‘ What? ‘ she asks.

‘ Nothin’.. just think you’ve learned a lot these past few weeks, being able to get me down first. I think you’re ready to move on to something a little more aggressive, ‘ he offers, propping himself up using his elbows until he almost bumps her pixie nose with his own and she blushes pink.

Penny shuffles off of him almost immediately, finding the situation somewhat uncomfortable even though he is her boyfriend. The knowledge that he is a cop, though, making her more cautious in the silence that followed her movement. Hanson seems taken back by her moving, however.

‘ Why’d you move, babydoll? ‘ he asked, curious and wanting to know but knowing how timid she is and the very obvious colouring on her cheeks gave it away, but perhaps there was more to it.

‘ Oh.. I just.. it didn’t look very appropriate to be straddling you still after making a point, really, so I figured it was best to get up—maybe we can try some new moves now? ‘ she’s trying to change the subject and take some of the heat off her in that moment.

‘ You wanna learn some new moves, huh? ‘ he perks up and wiggles his brows in her direction to see if it was possible to leave her feeling any more embarrassed. ‘ I could teach you a few. ‘

‘ Tom, I really hope you’re referencing training moves, ‘ she chuckles, covering her face with both of her hands and stepping aside a little more for him to get up off the ground.

Hanson is at least a few inches taller than her and it shows as they’re both in socks and lacking footwear whilst on the mats. Penny had asked for a few lessons in protecting herself if anything were to ever happen while she was out alone at any given time without friends, her father or her cop boyfriend, who was now watching her with a love struck gaze, much like she usually did.

‘ Yea, I am, don’t worry—did you wanna learn something in particular? ‘ he asks.

‘ Anything that might keep me from becoming serial killer victim remains, ‘ she states, without so much as flinching at the graphic terminology or donning a look of disgust.

‘ We’ve covered the basics, so if any of those don’t work, there’s one final thing you can try. Are you good to carry around a personal alarm with you everywhere you go? It’ll create a very high pitch noise that will leave them running, or at least attract the attention of anyone around you to let them know you’re in danger.. it’ll also alert me, which isn’t the norm but I’d set it that way, ‘ he says this with every confidence that he would make it to her on time no matter her location.

Penny flushes a soft hue of pink once more as he speaks, biting her lip slightly and bowing her head in appreciation and admiration of the efforts he would go to.

‘ Thanks, Tom. I always feel much safer when I’m not out alone, but sometimes when I’m off out volunteering, I’m on my own and working a full day at remote locations makes me worry coming home at the end of the day—thankfully nothing has yet, but you never know, ‘ she smiles.
