The lore you have for every character who comes to you has never ceased to amaze me and I want to say thank you for always sharing further details with me. I love getting to read more info about your characters, especially their beginnings and how they came to be, as well as what led them to where they are currently at in their lives.

I really love that you have give Emil this backstory because it definitely explains so much about him and the way that he is, how he talks and how he acts—Emlyn and Lestat both feel so much hurt reading this and they want to help him as much as they themselves can, too. He seems to have had such a hard life already and it is very cruel of his master to tear away any hope of freedom like that with every year that he ages.

I feel so sorry for him :( but I’m also really glad that there are others who have come to his aid and that he is not alone in all of this. From what I have read and what we have written so far together, he is one of the sweetest, kindest and most genuine characters that I know of and I really hope the best for him. It would be awful if he has to continue suffering for much longer because he definitely has done nothing to warrant it.

So for the fanfic I've decided to just put Emil as being part of the world of Zelda.  His parents are Rito bards and they decided to try and raise a family in Kokiri Forest but were killed just before Emil hatched.  The Great Deku Tree promised to look after Emil and helped raise him amongst the Koroks and fairies.  Emil is naturally gifted with music and learned how to play various wind instruments but favored the ocarina.  He got along well with the Korok who gifted him his first ocarina due to how well he managed with the one that he had of poor quality.

For at ime Emil lived in the Kokiri Forest until he was stolen by some thieves looking to plunder magical items from the forest.  The incident and travels to a far, far away place caused Emil so much trauma that his memories of the Kokiri Forest were turned into simple dreams.  He was given to the man who is now his master for a pretty sum and the master was told that Emil had great magical capabilities with his music.  However, a Rito like Emil was easy to be seen and many would question why a Rito was living so far away from those of its own kind, especially a child.

The Master then forced Emil to wear a pendant that would keep him in human form so long as he wore the pendant.  He filled Emil with lies about his past, stating that his parents must have thought him so repulsive that they didn't want him and allowed these kind travellers to find a better home for him.  But this doesn't come cheap and the master forces Emil to work for his place to sleep, his clothes, books, everything.  As Emil gets older the master sends Emil out to collect magical things for him so he can build up a reserve to make himself powerful.

To keep Emil from leaving him and under strict disciplne, the master has Emil on an invisible tether that sends jolts of electricity and any other magical surge into him.  Emil works under the idea that he will be freed by his master when he turns 18 but the msater keeps it so that he can't and each year there's the promise of being set free to only tell him "no".  On his 21st birthday it is promised again but his master refuses to release him.

Meanwhile, some korok have spotted Emil and take the news to the Deku Tree who wants to bring Emil back to the safety of Hyrule and to Kokiri Forest.  The korok use magical items to lure the master into sending Emil out for them and the hope is that Emil will be able to be taken to Kokiri Forest.  The tether is the most problematic though and the korok can see it.  Eventually Emil is subjected to extreme punishment through his tether due to his master's drunken whims at a tavern with his friends.  As the korok try to help him, Emil ends up dying.  Link is able to help revive Emil and takes him to Rito Village so he can recover.

After making sure that Emil will be all right amongst the Rito, who through Link, learn that Emil is a Rito hiding in human form, agree to look after him.  Link leaves for Hyrule Castle and the Kokiri Forest to see what can be done to free Emil and bring justice to what's been done to him. ~~~

up   later   today   but   well   rested   because   i've   been   up   early   the   last   two   days   so   i   feel   a   little   more   alive   now.   i'm   still   working   on   the   penny   and   wolf   story   and   i   hope   to   have   the   first   part   posted   later   this   evening.   also   gonna   catch   up   on   my   notifications   now   !   can   see   i   have   been   tagged   in   stuff   so   will   respond   now   :D

somehow   i   managed   to   join   the   world   of   the   living   this   morning   at   around   11am   which   is   very   confusing   since   i   did   more   yesterday   than   i've   done   in   months.   i   should   be   very   tired.   my   body   feels   like   it   is,   but   for   some   reason   i   was   just   wide   awake   in   spite   of   that   :')   so   now   i'm   gonna   start   working   on   my   full   length   penny   /   wolf   story   again!   i   couldn't   yesterday   'cause   i   was   awayyy   from   homee   for   most   of   it   visiting   the   precious   baby   boy   kitty   cat   martin   <3   we   got   him   in   2013   so   he's   getting   on   now   bless   him.   i   spent   a   few   hours   at   my   mums   and   then   came   home   and   the   internet   went   down   and   like   ..   for   several   hours   ..   was   just   crashing   and   by   the   time   the   internet   was   back   up   ,   i   was   too   sleepy   :')   but   today   i'm   gonna   fuel   myself   properly   and   get   stuff   done   'cause   i   also   basically   survived   on   nothing   but   lentil   crisps   yesterday   .   i'm   happy   though   to   have   seen   martin   again   for   the   first   time   in   three   years   .   he's   so   fluffy   and   fuzzy   and   gorgeous   .

while penny has been busying herself with wolf pred , this guy in the gifs up above ( the fugitive pred ) , has somehow managed to intrigue helene enough that she is currently questioning every life decision she has ever made while forced to her knees being hammered by something she has described to me as obscenely colossal , extremely invasive and highly addictive afflictive to her insides.

I miss Llandudno a lot but my issues with my legs these last few years has made it difficult to get too far from home, haha, but I’m hoping I can go back again soon ‘cause it’s more or less a second home for me with how many holidays I had there every single year of my life :’)

Omg, I think also flee with everyone else if all the seagulls decided to swoop down like that toward one specific area. I think the last thing I lost to one was an ice cream, funnily enough, but it was kind enough to leave me with the very last piece of cone in my hand.. actually hurt quite a bit too cause their feet definitely scratch pretty hard, haha..

I’m really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for a new character based on a gull! it’s a shame they’re so filled with chaos because they’re very beautiful, aha.
