I just sold Pearlridge Square #4202 for $585,000, $10,000 above asking! My seller is an investor and I helped coordinate the renovations to get the property back on the market. We took professional photos and did a mixture of physical and virtual staging. We fell out of escrow once due to the buyer having cold feet, but instead of going back on the market I reached out to the showings we had in the past to see if anybody wanted to step up to the plate. Sure enough the new buyer didn't want to take a chance at us going back on the market and so they ended up offering $10,000 over asking. Sometimes I skip the Veteran parking spot. Why? Because some people don’t realize Veterans look like me and I get challenged. No one has time for that. My first visit to the VA I was asked if I was lost or needed help finding my husband. It was demoralizing. On Military shopping days I’ve gotten “it’s only for the veteran or active duty member.” I usually ask “How many forms of ID do you need to verify I’m the Veteran? I carry 3.” The Military Women’s Memorial is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in which 70% of it’s donations come from the women it honors!! Pearlridge this morning for my parent’s gift. From the time my mom opened her gift, I knew it would be a success. A day of rest for this winter break. I can’t help but fall asleep everytime I eat. It wasn’t until later past 6 we went to Kapolei. Zippy’s for dinner. The nap couch now fixed. At least tomorrow, I will feel comfortable to sleep on the couch. There’s only a few more day before the new year. Let’s make it all count.
