Got my friend to watch Gameboys with me and we just finished season 2 and I am once again breathless from how beautiful this series is. My heart is aching I still can't believe how important this series ended up being to me during the pandemic.

What an interesting ask. I've been thinking about this for a bit, but I have a few who came to mind that I thought would be great players for a good 3-4 hour session, probably on a rescue mission from a 5-room dungeon.
Rain (Love in the Air)
We already know Rain has a thing for roleplay and he loves costumes. I feel like he would get the most into character, but would have no idea what's going on with the practical goals of the game. He'd inevitably solve a social encounter as an accident.
Tiwson (My School President)
I just know he's going to play the most useful skill monkey the game has ever seen.
Yamada Koharu (Kabe Koji)
She looks like she was born to play a great weapon warrior.
Naruse (Ossan's Love: In the Sky)
Every good table needs a grumpy twink that we all eventually grow to love. He's likely to play a selfish blaster. I just know it in my heart.
Pearl Gatdula (Gameboys/Pearl Next Door)
There is no successful table without someone who is focused on the global objective to get the party to stop arguing in front of a door for over 30 minutes. Pearl is that hero every GM needs to have a good table. It doesn't matter what she plays. She's going to play what the party needs most without them even noticing.
Thank you for the ask! This was a fun exercise. It was interesting thinking about this because I don't think most of the leads would be great for a table because they have too much other stuff going on in their lives, but many of their friends would do well at a table.

Summary

Ngl when the series started I was giving him the side eyes whenever I saw him. But color me surprised when I realized he was a true bestie to Ae and befriended Pete so easily. He gave Ae good advice and helped him and Pete get together. Despite his horny nature he also turned out to be a really sweet and respectful boyfriend.
Namgoong Shiwoon from Light on Me
Excuse me? He's the MVP! THE QB! Like come on! The way he was such a treasure. He knew his friends so well and protected them and advised them. He didn't choose a side in the love triangle but instead remained neutral and only offered advice when asked. He accepted Taekyung into their group happily and became a good friend to him to. He's extra af but is obviously the most genuine character.

IT'S YOUR GIRL PEARL!!!!! MY GAWD I LOVE THAT WOMAN! She is also the MVP! She is just perfection! Literally the bestest friend anyone could want. The way she was always there for Cai and Gav: giving them advice, a shoulder to cry on, or just listen to them vent. She loves her boys and they love her. She'd fight any bigot or ex for those boys! She's just everything a good character should be.
