Dumbest idea for an AU

Machia and AfO used to date, but then there was a messy breakup where AfO cheated on Machia and Machia is still super fucking bitter about it

Machia has two kids at this point and thinks he has finally moved on from that bullshit, but of course he has some lowkey abandonment issues.

Anyway, his son Eijiro has a boyfriend now and Machia is excited to meet this boy though it seems Eijiro and the boyfriend want to do the whole "Meet the parents" at the same time via a dinner date

and that's how Machia meets his ex, AfO, again.
