Fans of DnD Rangers and the game Roadwarden, behold! I've put together a subclass of DnD 5e's Ranger and built it around the main character from the text-based adventure Roadwarden. Like the game, this subclass provides a lot of freedom in "forging your own path" as you get to decide when and where you gain certain class features along with what to do with said abilities once they're in your hand.

Men's singles champion Bobby Riggs congratulates women's singles champion Sarah Palfrey at the National Tennis club in Forest Hills, September 7, 1941.
In 1973, Riggs publicly claimed that female tennis players were inferior and that even at his age (55) he could still beat any of the top women players. He beat Margaret Court in California, which landed him on the covers of Time and Sports Illustrated. Then Billie Jean King, whom Riggs had challenged before Court, agreed to play him. In a televised "battle of the sexes" match at the Houston Astrodome, King defeated Riggs in straight sets, 6–4, 6–3, 6–3. A headline at the time read, "Women Ecstatic, Men Make Excuses."

um guys i did it i finished a book in one day!!!!!!!!! (haven't done that in sooooooo long) and it's this one. really very nice i love these character study 70s novels that feature an older woman protagonist. just had to seek it out immediately when i found out abt its stage adaptation which starred jessica hehe
#something of a mrs. palfrey meets the women's room i should say. and quite funny but. darker at times than one expected going in#very very subversive in its way even if some bits betray that and goes to show how it's still very much of its time#oh bear w me i simply can't do goodreads and its terrible interface so all my thoughts on books have to go somewhere 😐

Scott is a designer I have come across ever since I started making sports designs. He’s one of the regulars I see within the smsports community and I’ve always been a fan of his work. Last week he shared some of his older work which is some of my favourites of his. The simplicity of an action shot with the larger imagery works so well as a composition. However, my favourite part of this series is the way Scott uses the lighting by not just placing it anywhere but somewhere that brings both bits of imagery life and maximum effect.
