The fire in the centre of the room is dying down to a low glow, more embers than flame, and their footsteps and giggles echo. It’s strange to see it so empty — no Jhod or Councillor Mervey; no guards; nor even seeing Jaethal skulk about in the shadows or no Amiri to loudly complain. A few candles remain lit, burning down to the wick, on the war table. As they approach the table, Octavia’s eyes sparkle and her lips curve up into a playful smile. She pulls Dianthe closer to her, running her hand over her full hips as she pulls her in for a kiss. She slips her tongue into her mouth, drinking in the softness of her lips, the warmth of her skin; the fresh, earth scent of her baroness’ perfume and the leftover wine. Headcanon Game (NSFW edition)

B - Bliss -  How big is the “big o” for them? How easy it is to bring them to it? 

Dianthe needs a lot of stimulation, lubrication and foreplay for her to have an orgasm, not that Octavia minds. She’s also not the loudest, but the easiest way to tell she is close is how vibrantly her halo will glow, how quickly it’ll fade in and out with every wave.

V - Virginity - How was that person/these people’s first time?

Valerius' first time was with a girl his mother had set him up with when he was about 17, and neither of them really knew what they were doing. It was clumsy and and awkward, a lot of fumbling and readjustments.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

She might not show it at times, but Camellia has always been grateful towards Valerius for helping and supporting her - unconditionally - during her questline, and that gives her that sense of security that's very important to her. So she is...very acutely aware of what he does for her, and she worries that sometimes she takes more from him than she gives. So it does lead to instances where later on, when they're in a committed relationship, that she tries to be a bit more considerate of his own needs: that he needs the same unconditional support from her that she needed from him - and he especially needs it emotionally, especially since he’s extremely prone to stress but very good at hiding or repressing it.

And he at least seems to recognize that she’s trying, even if she doesn’t know what to say. Sometimes just listening to him vent is enough for him, and he alwayss makes sure to thank her for helping (or trying to help.)

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

Octavia enjoys kissing and touching Dianthe in public and is extremely open in her affections, but Dia is a bit more reserved; she likes to keep her romances not....secret, but private at least, especially as a ruler. When so much of what she does is in the public view, she wants to keep something just to herself, and that something is her relationship with Octavia.

(That mischevious streak of Azata and fey blood in Dianthe’s veins though? She’s definitely considered at least being petty towards Regongar over it.)

I'm not too sure; since there is an orphanage in Tuskdale, they'd likely adopt, but right now they just want to enjoy being a married couple.

To celebrate Pride: what's Dianthe and Octavia's wedding like?

I had to double check to see if I had anything in my discord or tags here first because I swore I must have said something, but nothing specific came up!

First thing: Octavia being Calistrian and Dianthe being a Shelynite means there would likely be elements of both their faiths weaved into the ceremony, but I imagine since the High Priest of the Stolen Lands is Jhod, the wedding ceremony itself is an Erastilian one (Dianthe grew up in a village where the worship of Erastil is very popular and she was raised as such, even if she doesn't practice his faith in her adulthood.)

They include a yellow and black Calistrian weal ribbon to bind their hands as Jhod performs the Heartbond ceremony, and the wedding rings are fashioned to look like the brides' deities' favoured animals: one to look like a wasp, with topax and onyx gems, for Octavia; the other a songbird with a different coloured stone for the tail feathers for Dianthe. Dianthe wears a gown in that similar Grecian style that Shelyn is often depicted wearing, with some roses in her hair.

Octavia has a terrible case of gutwasps before the ceremony, but seeing how happy Dianthe is to see her at the altar assauges any and all fears - she asks her mother to give her away, though I imagine if Regongar had survived he would have done it.

It's hosted in Tuskdale's temple, of course, but Dianthe is adamant that the celebrations take place at the royal hunting grounds to appeal to the widespread worshippers of Erastil, and everyone across the kingdom is granted a few days off to celebrate.

17. What would make them break up? Would it be permanent?

I think if Dia went the way of Regongar and went became a bit controlling or possessive, then Octavia wouldn't stand for it and break up with her, but thankfully she'd never get to that point. If they broke up for any other reason, I imagine it'd be because Octavia is doubting herself and Dianthe's reassurance would be comforting enough for her to start their relationship again.

37. How much would they be willing to sacrifice for the other? Any lines they refuse to cross?

For the longest time, I don't think Viconia would give up her worship of Shar for him. While Azren embraces his heritage as a Bhaalspawn and to an extent, even starts worshipping Bhaal (though I would argue it's so he can understand his father's portfolio so he can later usurp/ascend to Bhaal's throne), he knows better than to ask Viconia to set aside her worship of Shar for him - at least until he decides to ascend and she suggests that she could become his High Priestess. Aside from that, anything goes.

When Dianthe first realize she loved/was in love with Octavia?

Octavia says it very early on, in the beginning of the romance, actually, in act 2. If you're on the right track, then you get the first sex scene right at the beginning once you leave the throne room. You have to say it back to her to get points for her best ending, but Dianthe is more reserved and isn't as likely to say it to her that early on.

She is a Shelynite, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Dianthe made private prayers to her goddess for clarity on the matter. I like to think she realizes she is in love with Octavia - truly in love - during Jubilost's personal quest. As one of your rewards, you can ask Shyka the Many, under the guise as the Host, the following:

She certainly feels like she might be by then, but Shyka’s confirmation really makes her realize it and what they’ve seen in her future makes her feel secure in her love for Octavia and any doubt she might have had about Octavia’s own affection for her, more so than any prayer from Shelyn.

I did some reorganizing to make the pairing tags consistent across the board and because I'm getting lazy about trying keep up with the other style of tags for everyone.

The new format is the simple #pair: [pc] x [npc] so for example, Valmellia is #pair: valerius x camellia and Dianthe & Octavia are #pair: dianthe x octavia

After the breakup, Dianthe brings Octavia back to her bedchamber so she can decompress and calm down away from prying eyes. I imagine a lot of that night is spent with Octavia grieving, but finding calmness and comfort in Dia's arms. And she probably spent a small while just sobbing into Harmonia's fur (-- in a rare occurrence, Dia allows her leopard onto the bed so Octavia can pet/snuggle her.)

I definitely think that, that same night, Dia vows to herself to never upset her like this. Octavia's had so much suffering and grief in her life that the last thing Dia wants is to bring her more pain; but she does want is to be someone Octavia can rely on, find comfort, peace and safety with.

The difference between the Dianthe/Octavia and Valmellia proposals are so stark.

Dia: proposes to Octavia in the palace gardens, the two of them having a picnic or something. Very sincere and romantic, some much needed happiness after the war with Pitax.

Valerius: proposes to Camellia in a moment of post-nut bliss after having assassination attempt-fuelled sex on the war room table.

To help fill out the tag: what do Dianthe and Octavia do for date nights?

They don't do anything extremely ostentatious or over the top 95% of the time. Dianthe and Octavia are just happy to be able to spend some much needed alone time together - it might be a picnic in the gardens if the weather is nice, or dinner in Dianthe's rooms if it's not; they might have a self-care evening, doing each other's nails (because Gods knows they take a beating when travelling) and sharing a bath.

Once Tuskdale becomes a city and the culture starts to grow - like a local theatre, a museum, that sort of thing, they'll attend special evenings there as a couple. Partially out of duty as the ruler and her partner, but also because they want to. Walks in the park or gardens are a nice date activity for them as well.

How tall is Dianthe and how tall do you think Octavia is?

Dianthe is 5ft5/165cm, so fairly short for an aasimar. As for Octavia, I imagined her being on the shorter side for a half-elf, so maybe around 5ft11/180cm.

👗 - Clothes off or on during sex?

Depends on the location and situation. If they're having sex say, in camp, then they'll keep their clothes on because it tends to be colder and it's easier to manage (especially when they might not get as much privacy/are more likely to get interrupted), especially since they both wear robes - both of them are very good at managing skirts as a result. But in Dianthe's bedchamber or Octavia's room in the tavern (before they went exclusive), then the robes and gowns come off - unless they have some special lingerie they want to wear - e.g. Octavia has a special set of ahem, Calistirian attire.

🤗 - Do they like to cuddle after sex?

Yes! They are a very affectionate couple and cuddling is a huge part of aftercare and intimacy for them as they become more emotionally intimate. They'll often kiss and cuddle, play with each other's hair, and since Dianthe does get her aasimar wings, Octavia loves having Dia's wings wrapped around her after sex. Sometimes they can't spare the time for it -- a kingdom doesn't run itself, but they always try to make the time for it if they can.
