Aramas Torpedo from Ozgener Family Cigars
I’ve smoked other sizes of this cigar previously, and I loved them. Really in my top 10 sticks. But this size just isn’t doing it for me. The draw is tight, the flavors are muted, and the smoke is coming out a little too hot.
4/10.
Seriously though, if you see this in a robusto or a toro, it is 100% worth it. Normally a great cigar, the roller was probably just going through something when they made this one. That’s the thing about hand rolled product.

Charlie Collier Exits Fox Corp. to Join Roku as Streaming Platform Seeks to Evolve Into ‘Next Generation Media Company’
This Variety exclusive breaks the news that Fox CEO Charlie Collier is exiting his position to become President of the digital distribution/streaming platform Roku. Roku is a digital distribution giant with a healthy-sized active user base about of 63.1 million active users (according to its Q2 report). It has a unique position as it hosts a number of free ad-supported TV (FAST) channels and serves as a "key funnel" for major streaming services such as Netflix and HBOMax.
I found this news notable especially because of the fact that Collier has spent his entertainment career which spans over 2 decades, working for traditional media corporations, flagship broadcast and cable networks. as it's mentioned in the article, before joining Fox he spent 12 years at AMC Networks after beginning his career in smaller cable networks in the heyday of the 1990s. In my opinion, for Collier to leave behind this safer and tried and tested legacy of a brand like Fox for a newer age company (Roku) of the streaming and internet era marks a shift in the industry and where things are going and perhaps the inclination toward innovation and adapting for the future.
This also marks a major shift for Roku, as they are using this shift in senior and executive leadership to mark a new era in a dream team of sorts. Along with Collier being recruited to the company, so has Gidon Katz who is coming from NBCUniversal, and Mustafa Ozgen whose experience isn't in the traditional entertainment sense but rather as a tech executive. This combination of backgrounds and skillsets is also indicative of the new levels of innovation and skills we need to leverage for a 21st century streaming service, where they live at the intersection of entertainment content and technology.
This is part of Roku's plan to be seen as what founder and CEO Anthony Wood declares a “next-generation media company.” Which may be a move to combat the company's "plummeting stock prices" and salvage this. In this new wave of leadership, we see Roku's intentions to grow internationally, beyond the United States and also the potential to become a player in creation and production of original content rather than just distributing it. as expressed in a Deadline article, "the company has plans to bolster its pipeline of original series and films even further with plans to order around 50 series and films during the next two years." They have already made the major acquisition of "Weird: The Al Yankovich Story" starring Daniel Radcliffe and Madonna to be exclusively released on the platform this November.
