Trying to decide on some anime north colour schemes: is this guy TOO MUCH, or just right?

They are fancharacters (sort of) for the Team Fortress 2 fandom. In our fiction, Tavish (the Demoman) adores cats so he adores tabigryphs too which are cat-owl gryphons. These six little guys are the kittens of a tabigryph he took in while pregnant. Their names are all references to different alcoholic drinks. Their colour scheme is inspired by how owlets are usually gray and fluffy while kittens always have blue eyes. If you look closely, they each have other distinguishing features too though in Tavish’s eye (he only has one eye), they are each extremely different. They are three boys and three girls each as follows;

Jack (Jack Daniels) - He has the most playful and social temperament and is distinguished by how he seems to have dimples. Because everything and anything to him can be a toy, he tends to be a little destructive too so never leave clothes lying around him. He is extremely energetic too.

Vincent (Wine) - He has a mole under his left eye and is the most laid back. He is usually found someplace warm taking a nap and only gets lively around mealtimes. His favourite food is salmon sushi and his favourite place to sleep is on top of Tavish’s bagpipes. He doesn’t like baths though because he hates the feeling of being wet.

Drumand (Rum) - Tavish named him for the white circles around his eyes which remind him of his uncle Drumand. Despite his bookish appearance, he can be protective, territorial and grouchy. The best way to win his heart over is with his favourite toy mouse or letting him come to you.

Marguerite (Marguerita) - She has the longest eyelashes and is very feminine. She is drawn to the colour pink, she loves being prettied up and seems to love Kpop music. She can also be high maintenance with how she doesn’t like to get dirty even while playing.

Ginnie (Gin and tonic) - She is a bit of an oddball. Unlike most cat like beings, Ginnie loves water and will never pass up the chance to play in it hence why Tavish had to get a lock for the toilet and he had to be firm with training her not to jump in puddles or in any body of water without permission. Due to this, the sound of water relaxes her to sleep and her favourite game is playing with bubbles.

Butterscotch (Scotch) - She is distinguished by her freckles, is shy and always stays close to either her mother or Tavish. She is sweet and affectionate, but is afraid of new things. She is highly intelligent and solves puzzles when the situation calls for it hence why she is quite the escape artist. She is also closest with Tavish hence why out of all the kittens, she is the one he has decided to keep even after she has grown up. He will make sure that the rest of them go to good loving homes.

... my first thought was that I would create a gryphon, but not the usual eagle/lion sort. Have you seen that post with a whole bunch of other combinations? I love it. Sparrow/kitten! Owl/Pallas cat! IDK. 

... but then I went “wait, cephalopods” so I’m going to go with Peacocktopus. And please, for the love of god, tumblr, do the thing and draw me one.
