Costumi da bagno che diventano arte: Orientny, il progetto di Cecile Casablancas

Lei è la figlia di John Casablancas, l’imprenditore founder dell’agenzia Elite Model Management scomparso nel 2013, nonché la sorella di Julian dei The Strokes. La sua storia creativa comincia qualche anno fa con i gioielli, ma ora Cecile Casablancas punta sul brand Orientny, una limited edition di costumi da bagno davvero unica, perché vede il contributo di una serie di artisti. Tra i nomi coinvolti, Caitlin Keogh, Jim Drain, Bozidar Brazda e Servane Mary. 

“Ho trascorso molto tempo con loro in Oriente, nuotando e andando in barca”, ha raccontato a Vogue America. “Abbiamo pensato di creare dei design unici che potessero essere un’alternativa alle proposte classiche degli altri brand”.

Gli artisti hanno avuto carta bianca sui disegni, mentre per la silhouette è stato deciso di puntare su una linea essenziale, vista la grande creatività delle stampe.
