It was like any other day at school. Runa was going through her backpack at her locker and suddenly there was a tug on her hair, making her hiss.

"Whoa, it's just me." Her best friend, Takeshi, was there, giving her a hug. She had to admit, his hugs did always made her feel a hell of a lot better.

"What's up, Kesh... I am trying to get my book for class." she said to him and went back to searching her bag.

"Buuut, i have someone for you to meet!" He said to her and smiled widely.

She huffed, "Who?"

Takeshi stuck his hand into her bag, somehow finding her book and putting it against her chest, moving her hand to hold it there. he then grabbed the bag and shoved it into the locker and closed it. "Come on." he grabbed her wrist and dragged her down the hall and around the corner, "Runa....Meet my friend!" he introduced her to the new person and she blinked.

"You know, I'm in a band. You should come see us play sometime." Hugo spoke as he looked at the female. "We play every Wednesday night, right here. You would like us." he grinned. He was living for this band, for his dream of being a rockstar.

Aspen's whole body was shivering, and she appeared paler than usual. As much as the dryad found winter to be beautiful, she didn't like how it took a toll on her, temporarily draining her of most of her magic.

She hated feeling weak and useless.

"I-I'm fine, I swear. You don't have to worry about me."

But despite her words, it was clear that she was struggling to stand upright.

Life usually enjoyed walking alone at night, but something about this night in particular felt... unsettling. She could've sworn she was being followed as she walked home.

Her suspicion was all but confirmed when she heard a branch snap behind her. She turned, brandishing her large axe as she tried to spot whoever had made the noise.

She couldn’t see them. Not yet, at least.

Kuragami was sleeping soundly, having a wonderful dream, curled up under a comforter. Then suddenly the dream took a turn and Kuragami needs to fight himself free of danger.

He started to toss and turn in the bed, he was sweating and panting and seemed frightened. This was not something that was his usual.

Now if you books now for three nights I have give you a deal. $90 bucks, now listen I know it sounds cheap and you're thinking what's the catch? Well, the wifi is crap and we get about four good TV stations, but we do have VHS rentals. I recommend The Lost boys, but be kind and rewind. Cadence didn't know how long she'd been lying on the forest floor, bleeding out. All she knew was that it hurt, she was fading in and out of consciousness, and she couldn't will her body to move.

Tears streamed down her face as she pressed a hand to her midsection, begging for someone, anyone to help her.

Her eyes closed as she spoke, unconsciousness threatening to take her again.
