1101 spoilers
Nobody better try telling me that Dragon doesn't love Luffy ever again. That's his beloved son damn it
(And before someone with 0 reading comprehension comes for me, I'm not calling him the best parent, I'm saying he loves his son. and that it had to be so hard for him to give Luffy up especially if he kept sneaking back to check on him enough for Kuma to pick up on it)

like you're telling me that dragon actually does care about luffy and would watch him whenever he passed by????? and the reason why he left luffy is so that he doesn't get caught up in his fights or be used as a weakness against dragon?????? LUFFY GREW UP WITHOUT A FATHER BECAUSE DRAGON DIDN'T WANT TO PUT HIS ONLY SON IN DANGER????

Okay, new amazing Bonney ability: she can become the future she imagines. That feels so metaphorical lmao, she's a poster-child for the revolution. This panel also suggests that Kuma already thought Luffy might be Nika before Luffy ever set out to sea.

"A child is their parent's weak spot"
This dragon lore is gutting me. I need more. Dragon loves his son. He was protecting luffy!
Also Luffy's comment about getting strong so no one can take his crew. 🥺my heart! I love this little rubber boy so much!
Kuma! The letters! The revolutionaries really just made of all the best father figures huh? Kuma's story just continues to destroy me.

Spoilers for One Piece 1101!
Thoughts this week!
COVER PAGE GOOD I love seeing the colour schemes by Oda's hand!!!!
man Dragon better be up to something good all this time
LUFFY ABS RETCON
just how busted IS Kuma...
Bonney is small.
This is comically nefarious and only OP could pull it off, jfc.
That bit with the fake medicine is so... Alpha really is a wholehearted nurse huh...
That Conney is canny, always keep your cards to your chest lads
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Stussy
I feel the same as Vegapunk whenever I get a haircut lmao
"Stop that Stussy. You ARE a human being!" Oda planting his little seeds here and there lmao. Fr I would be very surprised if this isn't foreshadowing the Seraphim breaking their figurative chains and turning on their creators.
KUMA YOU'RE SO GOOD REIGN IT IN A LITTLE PLEASE
YAY PIZZA PARTY!!!! Oda's always been good at drawing food, but this pizza looks especially good. I wonder if his kids like it...
Tumblr media
I'm wondering just how Kuma is getting away with these little diversions... clearly the WG are aware to some extent that he's assisting the Rev Army, so either he's popping away before any WG/Marines can spot him, or they're more concerned with keeping him with Vegapunk to really build up stocks of Buccaneer DNA before he becomes too much of a liability.
CONNEY IS CANNY and also a total dote, what a good old lady ;-; I really hope she wasn't punished for this manoeuvre...
I fucking love the room kept for gags even in the midst of something wondrous or serious
Tumblr media
PIZZA SHIP PIZZA SHIP PIZZA SHIP PIZZA SHIP PIZZA SHIP
I fucking love this sequence so much. Alpha getting a belt right into the puss is SO satisfying, normally we have to wait whole arcs for this kind of payoff.
But ALSO uhhhhhhhhhh Bonney is also kind of busted it seems?? Like her DF already had much more versatility than expected, but now she can pull off Gear 3rd style shit?! Idk if this is her genuinely commandeering the Nika fruit but still! Just how far can she go in hijacking other DFs from other timelines? I wondered if hers is another case like Luffy's where its a mislabeled fruit, but then why would it just be lying around in the Sorbet church.... mysteries still....
Thankfully we get one more chapter this year in 2 weeks! Maybe we'll finish this flashback? Get back to Egghead Island? Kuma will land there too at long last? Only time will tell before Oda does!
Til then! 💪✖️

Magia Record sprite index and beta material
I’ve been making a personal catalogue of Magia Record’s various internal minutiae for a while now, and I’ve found enough interesting little details that I figured I could make a whole post out of them. So here they are!
Note: contains spoilers for the entirety of Arc 1 and Arc 2, as well as speculation about future content.
*Details about the game’s BG files and related material are contained in a separate post for length.
---------------------------------------
[Index of battle sprites / Live2D sprites]
Each set of character sprites has a 6-digit ID. The first 4 digits (listed here) correspond to the unique character, while the last 2 digits correspond to alternate costumes, NPC color palettes, or battle sprite variants.
1000s: Magia Record's main story cast (arc 1, then arc 2) 2000s: Madoka Magica OG cast 3000s: Magia Record's supporting cast 4000s: Crossover characters (both Madoka and other franchises) 5000s: --- 6000s: Boss enemies 7000s: Regular enemies 8000s: Live2D NPCs
1001 - Iroha Tamaki 1002 - Yachiyo Nanami 1003 - Tsuruno Yui 1004 - Sana Futaba 1005 - Felicia Mitsuki 1006 - Mifuyu Azusa 1007 - Touka Satomi 1008 - Alina Gray 1009 - Rena Minami 1010 - Momoko Togame 1011 - Kaede Akino 1012 - Karin Misono 1013 - Asuka Tatsuki 1014 - Nemu Hiiragi 1015 - Ui Tamaki 1016 - Kanagi Izumi 1017 - Mitama Yakumo 1018 - Tsukuyo Amane 1019 - Tsukasa Amane
-The members of Team Mikazuki Villa are listed in order of appearance, with the exception of Sana and Felicia, whose positions are swapped. This is also the order in which they show up in the Arc 1 OP.
-Nemu is listed separately from the other two Magius, possibly as an artifact of earlier story drafts where she was a separate third party. (eg. a handful of comments by Inu Curry in Magia Archive vol.1 & 2 mention that Iroha and Touka's Doppels were designed to be similar from the start, while Nemu's was revised to match theirs some time afterward) (If the Arc 1 OP is anything to go by, maybe Mifuyu could’ve been a full-time Magius herself in that early draft?)
-Karin and Asuka are the only supporting cast members listed up here. Another artifact of early drafts? Or maybe just because they're also Aoki Ume designs?
1020 - Kagome Satori 1021 - Yuna Kureha 1022 - Hikaru Kirari 1023 - Ao Kasane 1024 - Juri Ooba 1025 - Shizuka Tokime 1026 - Chiharu Hiroe 1027 - Sunao Toki 1028 - Himena Aika 1029 - Shigure Miyabi 1030 - Hagumu Azumi 1031 - San Kagura 1032 - Miyuri Yukari 1033 - Lavi Himuro 1034 - Asahi Miura 1035 - Aleksandra Kurusu 1036 - Urara Yume 1037 - Nayuta Satomi 1038 - Mikage Yakumo 1039 - Sudachi Sawa 1040 - Yozuru Sasame 1041 - Livia Medeiros
-Arc 2 characters are listed with Kagome first, then by group affiliation: Promised Blood, Tokime Clan, Neo Magius, Folklore of 0, then the unaffiliated duo and Puella Care. The group leaders pictured in Arc 2′s logo and OP are listed first in their respective groups.
1042 - Little Kyuubey
-It’s you!!
1043 - Kuroe 1044 - Mikoto Sena 1045 - Tsuyu Mizuna 1046 - Chizuru 1047 - Kuro (Light-type) 1048 - Ebony 1049 - Olga 1050 - Gunhild 1051 - Heruka 1052 - Toyo 1053 - Amaryllis
-The “Puella Historia plus Kuroe” section.
1101 - Summer Iroha 1102 - Young Yachiyo & Mifuyu 1103 - Rumor Tsuruno 1104 - Rumor Sana (plus Ai-chan with her anime design!) 1105 - Felicia-chan 1106 - Fairytale Mifuyu 1107 - Christmas Touka & Nemu 1108 - Holy Alina 1109 - Idol Rena-chan 1110 - Sister Momoko 1112 - Halloween Karin & Alina 1116 - Vampire Kanagi 1117 - Haregi Mitama 1118 - Summer Amane Sisters 1120 - Night Parade Kagome 1121 - Vampire Yuna & Juri 1125 - New Year’s Sunrise Shizuka 1133 - Kimochi Lavi 1137 - Christmas Nayuta & Mikage 1139 - Valentine’s Sudachi 1143 - Summer Kuroe 1144 - Rumor Mikoto 1201 - Iroha-chan 1202 - Tanabata Yachiyo 1203 - Christmas Tsuruno & Felicia 1208 - Holy Alina (Arc 1 Chapter 10) 1209 - Summer Rena & Kaede 1210 - Mermaid Momoko & Mitama 1216 - Eternal Darkness Kanagi 1217 - Eternal Darkness Mitama 1301 - Final Battle Iroha & Yachiyo 1302 - Anime Yachiyo 1303 - Anime Rumor Tsuruno 1309 - Anime Rena 1401 - Miko Iroha & Ui 1402 - Fairytale Yachiyo 1501 - Anime Iroha 1502 - Historia Yachiyo 1601 - Infinite Iroha 1701 - Infinitey Iroha-chan 1801 - Iroha & Kuroe (*Only in MagiRepo form... for now?)
-Seasonal variant units for a given character are listed as 11xx, 12xx, 13xx... etc., with xx being the last two digits of the character's regular ID.
-Unlike other characters’ alternate sprite sets, Holy Alina's Chapter 10 sprites are listed as if they’re an entirely separate variant unit. (Might have to do with her separate voice lines?)
2001 - Madoka Kaname 2002 - Homura Akemi 2003 - Glasses Homura 2004 - Sayaka Miki 2005 - Mami Tomoe 2006 - Kyouko Sakura 2007 - Nagisa Momoe 2008 - --- 2009 - Mayabu Aki
-OG series characters are listed in order of their first on-screen appearance in said series. Glasses Homura is the one exception, listed directly below Stoic Homura.
-...Who’s the gap at 2008 for? The girl from the Walpurgis Rising trailer?
2100 - Haregi Madoka 2101 - Ultimate Madoka 2102 - Madoka-senpai 2103 - Ultimate Madoka-senpai 2104 - Madoka & Iroha 2105 - Scene 0 Madoka 2106 - Summer Madoka 2107 - Madoka-senpai & Iroha-chan 2200 - --- 2201 - Devil Homura-chan 2202 - Devil Homura 2203 - Haregi Homura 2300 - Summer Homura 2301 - Scene 0 Homura 2400 - Haregi Sayaka 2401 - Surfing Sayaka 2402 - Scene 0 Sayaka 2500 - Holy Mami 2501 - Summer Mami 2502 - Anime Holy Mami 2503 - Scene 0 Mami 2600 - Summer Kyouko 2601 - Scene 0 Kyouko 2602 - Doppel Kyouko 2700 - Valentine's Nagisa 2701 - Summer Nagisa
-Unlike the Magia Record cast, the OG cast's seasonal variants are listed at 2x00, 2x01, 2x02... etc., with x being the last digit of their regular ID. The main MagiReco cast presumably uses a different numbering system because x quickly reaches double digits for them.
3001 - Kanoko Yayoi 3002 - Natsuki Utsuho 3003 - Hinano Miyako 3004 - Sasara Minagi 3005 - Nanaka Tokiwa 3006 - Emiri Kisaki 3007 - Shizuku Hozumi 3008 - Akira Shinobu 3009 - Manaka Kurumi 3010 - Ria Ami 3011 - Kako Natsume 3012 - Meiyui Chun 3013 - Leila Ibuki 3014 - Seika Kumi 3015 - Mito Aino 3016 - Kokoro Awane 3017 - Yukika Nanase 3018 - Hanna Sarasa 3019 - Ayaka Mariko 3020 - Himika Mao 3021 - Sakuya Suzuka 3022 - Mitsuru Inami 3023 - Aimi Eri 3024 - Tsumugi Wakana 3025 - Ren Isuzu 3026 - Konoha Shizumi 3027 - Hazuki Yusa 3028 - Ayame Mikuri 3029 - Masara Kagami 3030 - Konomi Haruna 3031 - Rika Ayano 3032 - Mayu Kozue 3033 - Sayuki Fumino 3034 - Moka Megumi 3035 - Riko Chiaki 3036 - Maria Yuki 3037 - Mel Anna 3038 - Mikura Komachi 3039 - Seira Mihono 3040 - Temari Kira 3041 - Hotori Yuzuki 3042 - Meguru Hibiki 3043 - Eternal Sakura Rumor (Sakurako) (listed as 逢良かのん / "Kanon Aira" prior to Live2D update) 3044 - Ranka Chizu 3045 - Rion Yuzuki 3046 - Ryou Midori 3047 - Chika Aoba 3048 - Hotaru Yura 3049 - Kanae Yukino 3050 - Yuuna Kaharu 3051 - Jun Kazari 3052 - Ashley Taylor (listed as アシュリー・モラン / "Ashley Moran" prior to Live2D update) 3053 - Ikumi Makino 3054 - Mitsune Miwa 3055 - Sae Kirino 3056 - Rui Mizuki 3057 - Akari Mai 3058 - Ryouko Natsu 3059 - Kushu Irina
3501 - Christmas Rika & Ren 3502 - Summer Sakurako 3503 - Konoha & Hazuki (& Ayame) 3504 - Bridal Masara & Kokoro 3505 - Leila & Seika (& Mito) 3900 - Kuro (Dark-type) 3901 - Yusa Yumeno 3902 - Shii
-Sakurako is oddly listed in the middle of the 3000s, despite being both a limited-time Fate Weave character and fairly important to Arc 1, and had the name "Kanon Aira" in her Live2D parameters between her debut in Chapter 8 and the Live2D update in 2021. This is likely because her design was repurposed from a scrapped character(!)-- according to her artist commentary in Magia Archive vol.2, her original design concept was "a former A.I. that became human", with the power icon on her neck explicitly being her Soul Gem. → (Interestingly enough, her seasonal unit is likewise listed as “Kanon Aira”, and hasn’t been updated yet. I imagine it was just a holdover for internal consistency’s sake, in that case?)
-Even back when she only existed on the North American server, Ashley's Live2D parameters similarly identified her as "Ashley Moran" in Japanese text. Combined with her position in the middle of the 3000s, this suggests that she was drawn up at the same stage in development as everyone else before eventually being assigned as the NA exclusive.
4001 - Oriko Mikuni 4002 - Kirika Kure 4003 - Yuma Chitose 4004 - Final Oriko
4011 - Kazumi (+ fellow clones / Michiru Kazusa, not playable) 4012 - Umika Misaki 4013 - Kaoru Maki 4014 - Kazumi Subaru (listed internally as simply “White Kazumi”) 4015 - Saki Asami (not playable) 4016 - Nico Kanna (not playable) 4017 - Michiru Kazusa (not playable)
4021 - Darc 4022 - Liz Hawkwood 4023 - Melissa de Vignolles 4024 - Minou 4025 - Corbeau 4026 - Elisa Celjska 4027 - Lapine 4028 - Final Darc 4029 - Perenelle Flamel
4031 - Suzune Amano 4032 - Matsuri Hinata 4033 - Arisa Narumi 4034 - Chisato Shion 4035 - Haruka Kanade 4036 - Tsubaki Mikoto 4037 - Kagari Hinata (not playable)
4041 - Hitagi Senjougahara 4042 - Mayoi Hachikuji 4043 - Suruga Kanbaru 4044 - Nadeko Sengoku 4045 - Tsubasa Hanekawa 4046 - Shinobu Oshino
4051 - Nanoha Takamachi 4052 - Fate T. Harlaowne 4053 - Hayate Yagami
4061 - Chisato Nishikigi 4062 - Takina Inoue
4121 - Isabeau de Bavière (Witch ver.) 4122 - Isabeau de Bavière (Puella Magi ver.)
-Spinoff and crossover characters are listed at 40xx. The third digit groups the characters by their series of origin-- Oriko, Kazumi, Darc, Suzune, Monogatari, Nanoha, LycoReco-- and the fourth digit counts up for each specific character within a group. If the amount of characters in a group exceeds 9, as is the case with Isabeau, those additional characters go in 41xx under the same third digit.
-The Oriko trio are the only 4000-series characters who are always available in the Premium Fate Weave. Based on this, Oriko’s Doppel Challenge, and their lack of presence outside each of their personal stories, some speculate that they were planned to have a larger role in Arc 1′s storyline before being cut.
6000 - Teresa 6001 - Candy 6002 - Breakup Staircase Rumor 6003 - Sweetheart's Steed Rumor 6004 - Misery Rhyton Rumor 6005 - Anonymous A.I. Rumor 6006 - Memory Curator Rumor 6007 - Chelate Big Ferris Rumor 6008 - Flower Speaker Rumor 6009 - Soldier Bear Rumor 6010 - Queen Bear Rumor 6011 - Sapphire Lips 6012 - Ruby Navel 6013 - Aquamarine Heels 6014 - Turquoise Ears 6015 - Opal Neck 6016 - Pearl Eye 6017 - Diamond Hair 6018 - Garnet Pinky
6101 - Shitori Egumo (form 1) 6102 - Shitori Egumo (form 2) 6103 - Zenobia 6104 - Rebecca 6105 - Stacey 6106 - Shin 6107 - Durbar 6108 - Paola 6109 - Lucy 6110 - Etteilla 6111 - Made in 168 6112 - Oshiti 6113 - Raspberry 6114 - Boxwood 6115 - --- 6116 - --- 6117 - --- 6118 - Neo Dorothy 6119 - --- 6120 - Slave of Anima 6121 - Eckert 6122 - Martina 6123 - Blot 6124 - --- 6125 - Peeping Castle Town Rumor
6201~7 - --- 6208 - 10^-43 6209 - --- 6210 - --- 6211 - Winchester 6212 - Sarah Mirabilis W 6213 - --- 6214 - Winchester (Sarah M. guards) 6215 - Winchester (head)
6221 - 10^-1 (Mars) 6222 - --- (would be Mercury going by JP days of the week) 6223 - 10^-3 (Jupiter) 6224 - --- (would be Venus going by JP days of the week) 6225 - 10^-5 (Saturn) 6226 - --- (would be... the sun or moon?) 6227 - 10^-7 (Yin/Yang)
-With the exceptions of Teresa, Candy and Shitori Egumo, "main storyline" bosses are listed in order of appearance at 60xx, while "miscellaneous" ones are listed at 61xx. The first list goes straight from Arc 1's Rumors to Arc 2's Feelings, with no gap in between. The second list also includes witches who first appeared in the anime.
-Teresa and Candy's positions are most likely mid-development holdovers. According to Inu Curry, Teresa was originally meant for the prologue before being replaced with Patricia. Pre-release material (see sister post) indicates that Candy was originally the witch chased by Iroha and Yachiyo in Chapter 1, before being swapped out with Zenobia.
-I guess Shitori Egumo gets a special position at the start of the 6100s because she's a final boss?
-The empty slots surrounding 10^-43 correspond to different variants of her minions in the 72xx section.
-The 6300s and 7300s don't have anything currently assigned to them.
6400 - Patricia 6401 - Gertrud 6402 - --- (empty b/c 7402 = Gertrud's 2nd minion) 6403 - Charlotte 6404 - Uhrmann 6405 - Walpurgisnacht 6406 - Albertine 6407 - H.N. Elly (Kirsten) 6408 - --- (7408 = Suleika’s minion) 6409 - Elsa Maria 6410 - Isabel 6411 - --- 6412 - Roberta 6413 - Gisela 6414 - Oktavia von Seckendorff (rock ver.) 6415 - --- 6416 - Homulilly 6417 - --- 6418 - Patricia (sports day ver.)
-Witches hailing from the OG series are listed at 640x, in (roughly?) chronological order of in-game debut.
6500 - Matasaburo (battle sprites) / Kamihama Saint (Live2D) 6501 - Kamihama Saint (battle sprites) 6502 - Giant Iroha-chan
-And then 650x is just kind of a catch-all, apparently.
-Matasaburo is the only "reskinned" boss to have a completely different ID from its base version. All other bosses and minions have their seasonal variants listed at the same 4 initial digits, and are differentiated by only the last 2.
6601 - La Reine’s Twilight 6602 - Witch of bulls (from OG series’ The Different Story spinoff)
6800 - Little Goat’s Dream 6801 - Little Bear’s Dream
6901 - Giovanna’s dialogue portrait 6902 - Valentine Oscar’s dialogue portrait
7000 - Huygens 7001 - Harold 7002 - Breakup Padlock Rumor 7003 - Summoning Plaque Rumor 7004 - Misery Owl Rumor 7005 - Anonymous E-Mail Rumor 7006 - Memory Staff Rumor 7007 - Chelate Mascot Rumor 7008 - --- 7009 - Worker Bear Rumor
7101 - Oscar 7102 - Kirico Keepers (IV) 7103 - Zabaii 7104 - Joseph 7105 - Ekaterina 7106 - Kotori 7107 - Patan 7108 - Bona 7109 - Coco 7110 - --- 7111 - --- 7112 - Suzugamori 7113 - Razzie
-Minions are listed at 70xx and 71xx, in the same order as their parent bosses. The gaps at 7008, 7110 and 7111 are for the minion-less Flower Speaker, Etteilla, and Made in 168, respectively.
-Shitori Egumo only has one minion, so the empty slot after said minion is filled by the letter-carrying Kirico Keepers. (Maybe this is because they regularly showed up in Main Story missions, whereas their Daily Labyrinth siblings didn’t until the end of Arc 2?)
7130 - Mr. Purrs-a-Lot 7131 - Piggles 7132 - Moortimer
7150 - Black Feathers 7151 - White Feathers
7190 - Chapter 10 Oscars (Archive encyclopedia graphic)
7201 - Echo (I) 7202 - Echo (II - chair) 7203 - Echo (III - chair) 7204 - Echo (IV - chair) 7205 - Echo (II - flower) 7206 - Echo (III - flower) 7207 - Echo (IV - flower) 7208 - Echo (II - bird) 7209 - --- 7210 - --- 7211 - Kirico Keepers (I) 7212 - Kirico Keepers (II) 7213 - Kirico Keepers (III)
-Daily Labyrinth minions sit at 720x and 721x.
7400 - Mathieu 7401 - Anthony 7402 - Adelbert 7403 - Pyotr 7404 - Bartels 7405 - Bluenose 7406 - Anja 7407 - Daniyyel + Jennifer 7408 - Ulla 7409 - Sebastian's 7410 - Michaela 7411 - --- 7412 - Gotz
-OG series minions are likewise listed in the same order as their parents.
7500 - Zakuro 7501 - Spatial Rift (unique enemy from Iroha & Yachiyo's event story)
7600~7601 - 15th-century Europe soldiers (battle sprites) 7602~7604 - 15th-century Europe Puella Magi (battle sprites)
7700 - Promised Blood juniors 7701 - Promised Blood captains 7702 - Tokime Clan juniors 7703 - Tokime Clan captains 7704 - Neo Magius Black Feathers 7705 - Neo Magius White Feathers 7706 - Miscellaneous juniors 7707 - Miscellaneous captains
7900 - Sengoku-era soldiers (battle sprites) 7901 - Alexandrian soldiers 7902 - Viking-era soldiers 7903 - Mongol soldiers 7904 - Kununokuni soldiers 7905 - Pompeii soldiers
8001 - Girl (long hair) 8002 - Girl (short hair) 8003 - Girl (medium-length wavy hair) 8004 - Boy (medium-length hair) 8005 - Boy (short spiky hair) / Hiko-kun 8006 - Adult woman 8007 - Adult man 8008 - Middle-aged woman 8009 - Middle-aged man 8010 - Young woman (mainly differentiated from 8006 by wavier hair :V) 8011 - Young man 8012 - Little girl (pigtails) 8013 - Little boy 8014 - Elderly woman 8015 - Elderly man 8016 - Little girl (long hair) 8017 - --- 8018 - Elderly woman (hair bun) 8019 - --- 8020 - Young woman (waitress) 8021 - --- 8022 - Girl (bob hair) (= Yusa Yumeno) 8023 - Touka’s father 8024 - Nayuta’s father 8025 - Person-shaped cloud

[Beta item graphics]
(I made this section for Paola’s flag, but it’s officially available in-game now! Huzzah. So there’s no unused item graphics ATM.)

[Voice lines]
Every playable character has Doppel summoning lines, Awakening lines from 3 to 5 stars, and so on, regardless of how high or low their initial rarity is. Since at least a few characters’ rarities were up in the air during development (eg. Himika), it makes sense that they’d record enough voice lines for every possibility in advance.
Additionally, here’s a couple things I found particularly interesting: -Each character has one more login line after their Max AP and BP lines. Much like how Max AP lines generally mention a witch nearby and Max BP mentions Endless Mirrors, this third line tends to mention a large conflict between nearby Magical Girls. While I haven’t checked the most recent characters and costumes, these lines were still included for every character well into the endgame of Arc 2, so the game element they were recorded for was probably still being considered at that point. (Some kind of PvP raid?)
-Each character has one more unused Awakening line after their 5-star one, plus an extra victory line/MGS menu line that would presumably be unlocked alongside it. I wasn’t sure what this was at first-- like, maybe it could also be for maxing out the skill tree?-- but as it turns out (thanks to firankamipinska for telling me about this!!), it’s explicitly a 6-star Awakening line. As in, MagiRepo Iroha-chan and Rena-chan’s lines literally say “omg I’m a 6-star now! :U” in just as many words. → ...If that ever happens, I’m going to have to revise all my spreadsheets... ( ;∀; )
(Also, I haven’t checked every voice line from every character, so if there’s any other stuff I missed, feel free to let me know!)

[Creature design credits]
OG series witches (incl. Paola): Concept by both members of Gekidan Inu Curry, in-game supervision by Doroinu. Patricia, Elly and their minions are an exception, with Doroinu credited for both concept and supervision.
Game-original witches and Uwasa: Concept by f4samurai, in-game supervision by Doroinu. Etteilla, Shitori Egumo and her minions, the “Mr. Purrs-a-Lot” Rumors, the Witch of Mirrors, and the Witch of Symbols are exceptions, with Doroinu credited for both concept and supervision. (*The Purrs-a-Lot puppets were also created by dollmaker LIEN!)

[Beta creature designs] Most of f4samurai's initial enemy concepts haven't been published, but a few have seen the light of day here and there. I’ve compiled them in an imgur album (since I’d have to shrink them to embed directly in the post, orz). (also the transparencies might be kind of messed up on mobile?? double orz)
Teresa - Was present on Arc 2's website before being replaced with her canon design. Can still be viewed via the Wayback Machine and on certain sub-pages. (The part in her Archive description about “originally being the witch of pendulum clocks” is a literal reference to this initial design.)
Candy - From Arc 2's website (now replaced). A color version was repurposed as a "generic unknown witch" stand-in during Iroha's text conversation with Ai in Chapter 5. (Inu Curry’s comment in Magia Archive volume 1: “She was definitely cuter in a more ordinary way before we revised her design. Sorry about that.”)
Huygens(?) - From Arc 2's website (replaced, though still present on sub-pages and the mobile site).
Joseph - From early gameplay footage (see sister post). Not sure whether this is from before or after Inu Curry's revisions. Different head object; elements are differentiated by head and cape color.
Kirico Keepers (I) - From Arc 2's website (now replaced). Kirico Keepers (II) - From Arc 2's website (now replaced). Kirico Keepers (IV) - From Arc 2's website (replaced, though still present on sub-pages and the mobile site).
Oscar - From Arc 2's website, as well as early gameplay footage. Not sure whether this is from before or after Inu Curry's revisions. Elements are differentiated purely by color, rather than different head markings and bowties.
