Can we all just stop and talk about this post on r/weeviltime because I'm absolutely losing it. That bug is SLATHERED IN RANCH. Absolutely lost in the sauce. That poor weevil was in weevil heaven before some giant eldritch being tossed the whole of Eden across the room. Also, don't despair, no weevils were harmed in the making of this post:
Hey @onenicebugperday I thought maybe if I posted the video and tagged you that may work! Anyway, here is the final friend from my most recent submission to your blog. This rolly was rather calm despite being sniffed by a curious snortle!
My thoughts on @onenicebugperday's giant bug poll is this:
You're missing the option of having a horse-sized mantis that I can ride around town. (I'm fine riding her around like a horse, she doesn't need to be able to fly. 😭)
Any idea what this bug found in Victoria Park, Stratford, London, UK is?
It had some kind of stinger on its tail that it was displaying like a scorpion as a threat and didn’t want to be in water - I rescued it after it fell in.
Septembug day 1: Vibrant! I saw this beetle near Spokane, Washington in June. It was irridescent in a way my phone camera wasn't able to pick up, but this is the best photo I got.
