hi im one of the poor users who your posts dragged kicking and screaming into reading hs and uh. well. i um. i. i finished. homestuck. i dont know how to respond to this. so i humbly ask if you have any fic reccs (if their ship oriented then preferably dvkt bcs im a loser) anyways yeah im gonna go reread homestuck now

as for fic recs yea i have a shit ton! most of them are davekat because, no fear, i am also a loser. here are some for you!

doc scratch’s school for supernaturally gifted adolescents

this one is basically it’s own children’s fantasy novel. it’s a really fun and unique story and the homestuck story aspects are incorporated in ways you don’t expect. honestly someone with no knowledge of homestuck could read this and enjoy it! the basic premise is exactly what it says in the title, also its humanstuck. theres also some romance drama, because teenagers, but it’s worth it.

dayvhe’s broken diamond club

this one is more focused on dave<>sollux than davekat but it’s like my favorite hs fic ever, so it had to go on the list. genuinely this fic is absolutely incredible, the world building it does for Alternia (it’s a trollstuck au) and the way the plotlines grow to an insane scale very gradually so it doesn’t overwhelm the reader? masterful. this fic is so goddamn worth it if you have the time. the actual plot starts with sollux having a crush and expands to dangerous planetwide revolution.

mc esher thats my favorite mc

i actually don’t remember much of what happens in this one besides that it’s a soulmate au where a whole fuckton of characters play sburb together and it’s really cool! and got some very unique but fun pairings (along w davekat obvi). i may not remember much but it’s written by unda who i trust

love letters in digital ink

secret identity shenanigans with rose and kanaya. rose runs a popular blog where she talks about her huge crush on the new next door neighbor. she does not know said neighbor follows that blog and has had a celebrity crush on her for forever.

detective pony

the most well done dirk strider character study ever written. this fic also got canonized by the homestuck crew later. the basic premise of this story is that it is a gift written by dirk strider for his friend jane on her birthday– he is modifying the preexisting novel pony pals detective pony. it’s a fantastic read.

also, i may or may not be writing some of my own homestuck fics soon… its been a long time since i wrote anything for that fandom and i have a LOT of ideas rattling around in my skull atm ;] if i do its probably gonna be rosemary or davekat (possibly vrisrezi but thatd likely be a oneshot)
