This movie is not I mean definitely not for the lighthearted. It’s a very trigger oriented movie, with many emotional and sensitive situations. That’s where I’m indifferent with this. It’s based on true events and while the acting is really good and so is the cinematography, the storyline for me makes it slightly uneven. It’s not a happy story nor does it ever get happy anywhere throughout. Keyword there being ever. If you like those type of movies then you’ll love this.

《母子逆緣 Mother》真實案件：是怎樣的母親，會讓孩子殘殺自己的親生祖父母？
日前我們就報導過，Netflix 在下月將會上映一部日本電影《母子逆緣》(Mother／台譯：母子情劫)，由女星長澤雅美、影帝阿部貞夫、加上有「怪物新人」之稱的奧平大兼攜手主演，電影故事以真實案件改編而成，光聽到這兒也足夠引人入勝了吧。不僅如此，長澤雅美更憑著戲中的母親一角，獲封影后，應該更讓觀眾們期待她在電影中的驚人演出吧。不過在正式看電影前，其實電影背後的這宗真實案件，也非常值得觀眾先了解。
川口夫婦殺害事件
時間回到 2014 年，在 3 月 29 日的正午 12 時，一對老夫婦被大女兒發現他們在位於埼玉縣川口市的住所中倒斃，兩人的身上都有被刺傷的痕跡，而在血跡斑斑的現象亦遺下了一把菜刀，相信就是兇徒的兇器。這對老夫婦年齡分別為 73歲 和 77 歲。到底是怎樣的血海深仇，才讓兇手要以這樣的方式結束一對老人家的生命？
日本警方很快就把疑兇鎖定和拘捕，他就是這對老夫婦的親孫子，當年只有 17 歲。這宗案件就是曾經轟動整個日本的「川口夫婦殺害事件」。
「即使把他們殺了也要借回來」
是少年的反社會人格，還是他忍受不了外公外婆的囉嗦，還是他討厭老人家，才會讓他走上一條殺人犯的不歸路？以上答案全部不是，推他一把的是他的親生母親。
犯案的少年向警方表示，是因為受了媽媽的教唆才會殺害自己的外祖父母；媽媽因為生活有困難，讓他去跟兩位老人家借錢，並表示「即使把他們殺了也要借回來」。怎料，外祖父母因為曾經多次借錢給少年的媽媽，也就是他們的小女兒，所以真的拒絕少年的借錢要求，少年又不想讓母親失望，於是情急之下便動了殺機。
或許你會問，為什麼一位 17 歲的少年，也沒有足夠的判斷能力嗎？這是因為你還未清楚他的成長背景。
少年的非人生活
少年從小的家境就很貧困，家中還欠債纍纍，經常會有追債的人找上門。然而，母親根本沒有為這些債項而盡自己的責任，不但不好好工作，還會把辛苦得來的金錢花在彈珠機和牛郎身上。父母後來離異了，少年就跟著母親一起生活，人生就更加亂七八糟。
少年在小學 4、5 年級開始就沒有好好上學，過著居無定所的生活，不是在時鐘酒店暫住就是需要露宿街頭。在少年年紀還很小的時候，母親就經常會為了找她的男朋友而失蹤一段長時間，只遺下少年自己一個生活，自己照顧自己。即使跟著母親和繼父一起生活，少年也會經常被繼父虐待和家暴，過著我們無法想像的非人生活。
雖然少年在生理上能夠獨立地照顧自己的起居飮食，但在心理上卻非常孤獨，他的內心其實非常渴望得到母親和繼父的疼愛，亦正因如此，所以他甘願受到母親的控制，甚至認為只要能夠拿錢回來，母親就會疼愛他。就是這樣的想法，促使少年成為了母親的傀儡，最後更鑄成大錯。
一子錯的人生
在案發之後，其實少年也對自己的選擇和行為感到很後悔，尤其是當他知道了祖父母原本的生活其實非常充實，最愛音樂和攝影，原本過著豐盛的晚年。另一邊廂，少年又很擔心會因為自己入獄了，家中少了一個可以照顧母親的「經濟支柱」，同母異父的妹妹會因而被逼賣淫。
他的確犯錯了，這是不容質疑的事實，不論他現在有無多後悔，祖父母的生命還是不能重來。然而，他也不過是個未成年的孩子，因為渴望母親的愛與認同，而被推上絕路。少年的內心並不是十惡不赦的魔鬼，而是一個軟弱的靈魂。雖然動手的是少年，但又有多少人能夠把所有罪名歸咎於他？
最終，少年被判 15 年監禁，其母親則被判處 4 年 6 個月的刑期。
