40 Character Questions: Modern Bedroom Setting

These questions can be used for both fandom and original characters. If you want your followers to send you prompts for specific characters, drop their names in the tags when you reblog. Alternatively, feel free to use these questions to flesh out a character profile on your own.

1. 🎧 Open their music app. What song did they last listen to?

2. 🖼 Look around for any photos or paintings. What do you notice?

3. 💘 If they’re in a relationship, what objects point to their partner(s)?

4. 🥶 What’s the temperature in the room? How are they handling it?

5. 🎹 Can you find any band instruments or other musical paraphernalia?

6. 🖥 If there’s a tablet or computer, turn it on. What comes up on screen?

7. 🏈 At a glance, is there anything that points to sports or outdoor hobbies?

8. 📝 Look for a notepad or scrap paper. What’s written on it and by who?

9. 📞 Pick up their phone. Are there any texts or calls? Who are they from?

10. 🐾 Any critters around? Look for evidence of pets, pests, and/or wildlife.

11. 💊 Are there any medication bottles or accessibility devices in the room?

12. 🧸 Look around for any toys in the room. Are they hidden or in plain sight?

13. 📚 Check the bookshelf. What kind of books are on it? Is it organized at all?

14. 👂 Listen carefully. Can you hear anything coming from outside the room?

15. 🎲 Is there anything you notice that points to an addiction or bad habit?

16. 🎟 Look for a ticket or receipt. Where’s the last place they went to? Why?

17. 🛌 Check under the bed, if you can. Anything interesting under there?

18. 🎵 What, if anything, is currently playing as background music?

19. 👠 Look around for shoes. Are there multiple pairs or just one?

20. 👗 Open the closet and look for formal wear. Describe what you find.

21. 🦄 Does anything strike you as out of place? Why, and what is it?

22. ⌛ What’s the oldest or most worn-out thing you can find in this room?

23. 👀 Notice anything suspicious? What is it and where’s it hiding?

24. 📦 Open the first box or drawer you notice and describe what’s inside.

25. 📅 Look for a calendar or agenda. Anything special coming up?

26. 🏆 Are there any shiny trophies or awards displayed in the room?

27. 🥨 Do you see any food? Are there snacks stashed somewhere?

28. 🐝 There’s something buzzing. What’s that noise coming from?

29. 📺 If there’s a TV, turn it on (or describe what’s already playing).

30. 💤 Describe the bed. How big is it? What do the blankets look like?

31. 🏖 Are there any vacation souvenirs or travel plans laying around?

32. 💍 Do you see any jewellery or other accessories? What kind?

33. 🎃 Are there any decorations around to indicate the season?

34. 🌆 Go to the window and describe the view/scene outside.

35. 🎓 Notice anything academic, like a graded paper or textbook?

36. 🍼 Look around for anything they've kept from childhood.

37. 👃 Take a deep breath. Do you smell anything? What is it?

38. 🚧 How well is this place built? Does anything seem broken?

39. 🗑 Find a garbage or recycling can and tip it over. Anything interesting?

40. 🌹 Are there any plants or flowers in the room? Are they alive?
