4. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

She has witnessed several Sabbat rites and they were…not pleasant. She hasn’t discussed them with anyone, even though a lot of kindred also know about them, mostly because she was…very shocked by the brutality? During her first years as a vampire she wasn’t really keen on any of the vampiric sects but also wasn’t really against them so to speak, but after witnessing what the Sabbat does she feels very strongly against them! Still doesn’t give a shit about the Camarilla so she won’t join them but she sure as hell doesn’t like the Sabbat AT ALL.

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

A bunch of stuff (mostly useless knick-knacks, as Beckett says). Most of the time it’s different lenses for her camera, spare batteries, some pocket-sized notebooks where she writes down stuff, a bunch of pencils/pens, scraps of paper with photography ideas written down and a flip phone she doesn’t even know how to properly use.

6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

She mostly dreams about her journey to North America on the ocean liner! It was her first time seeing the sea and the vast horizon and clean skies and air was so…strange for her? She thought she was dreaming during the first week of the trip! Even after all the years that have passed she dreams about it very often, and even feels the breeze and the slightly salty feeling it left on her skin!

7. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

She doesn’t have nightmares often but the ones she does all revolve around suffering final death. She likes her (un)life, thank you very much, and somehow dying for real terrifies her. She feels like there’s still so much to experience and see that she doesn’t want to miss out on that.

15. Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?

She used to when she was a kid! Gotta have money to eat, especially with a big family! After becoming a vampire she doesn’t really care about material possessions at all and she doesn’t even own that much stuff anyway. She travels a lot and doesn’t tend to stay in the same place for long so her backpacks are only filled with essencial stuff. She does take great pride in her camera collection though, and will probably drop a bunch of coin if that means getting that sweet 18th century model from that collector’s shop.

17. What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?

Marbles! She used to play with her siblings all the time and loved the colours and the sounds they made against the pavement! She kept one inside her pocket when she travelled to America and still owns it up to this day. Kind of a lucky charm!

31. Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.

In the middle of the night on a nearly deserted town in Europe. The buildings are old and look like they’ve been abandoned for years even though you can still see the flickering lights inside. They’re all made of stone. There is a slight breeze but it’s not enough to be considered wind. She’s sitting on the rooftop of one of the buildings, legs dangling in the air, her backpack sitting open beside her and her camera in her hands. The only sound that can be heard is that of the shutter when she takes a picture. She is on her own and she feels free.

32. Describe a scenario in which your character feels most uncomfortable.

Camarilla parties. Too many people, too much noise, too much focus on appearances and politics. She only attends because she has too, really. Taking pictures here and there seems like an easy enough job that pays well (not that she needs money, but she sometimes gets paid in something priceless: information), but it gets 1000 times harder when you have to mingle in a crowd of well-dressed vampires when you’re wearing a jacket 4 sizes larger than you and a pair of pants that look straight out of a 19th century closet.
