Obsessed with tes zafir being a large intimidating person but also very soft spoken.
He's not exactly nice (he has a very dry sense of humor and hardly smiles, so it's hard to tell if he is joking) but he doesn't like scaring people, actually.

Everytime zafir is in my brain (which is every moment of every day) I always get more invested into his asexuality. Of course it isn't his only character trait but I think it's one of his most important. He doesn't find sex to be a necessary thing to get through the day, and he is okay with that.
It's also super personal to be, that my blorbo represents that aspect of my sexuality.

Tell me about your oc's / canon character headcanons / lore headcanons / whatever you like!
okay okay you convinced me kalyppso for i am incredibly weak and need to talk about it. Recently I have been putting together a little timeline (of sorts, its very fragmented at the moment) of witcher ot4′s individual pairings/relationships and how they developed to the point of well... ot4. Each of these will be written out eventually (maybe not to the extent of Feathers and Flower Petals), but when all four of them come together and all of the history between them is unraveled, they all realize there is more to their dynamic and their relationships never really ended per se. It gets pretty complicated, but here I will try to explain the bits of backstory I have starting in chronological order below the cut
Geralt/Zafir: I have the most information on this one. After the collapse of Kaer Seren (the School of the Griffons to which Zafir called home), there were only three griffons left, Zafir being one of them. He was very close to Coen, one of the other griffons (fuck you netflix for ignoring the other schools), but they kinda grew distant as they felt like everything they ever worked for was gone and forgotten. They both agreed, however, to spend their winters at Kaer Morhen. Zafir was familiar with Vesemir, and vaguely knew of the White Wolf. Zafir’s first winter at Kaer Morhen was... rough. He was very bitter, isolating himself. He became obsessed with finding out who was responsible. I seriously doubt Geralt of all people would let one of his fellow witchers spiral, so tried to keep Zafir’s mind off of it by training and having Zafir teach him a bit more about signs. It was an okay enough distraction, but eventually Zafir found out the avalanche that destroyed Kaer Seren was caused by mages who sought the Griffons’ knowledge. Geralt knew there was something wrong when Zafir left Kaer Morhen in the spring without a word to any of the others. After rumaging around in the room Zafir stayed in, Geralt discovered evidence of what Zafir was planning. He brought it to Vesemir and convinced him they needed to go after Zafir, or he would likely get killed. (sidenote: oops geralt holds a great respect for Zafir and would hate to see him get corrupted by his vengeance and possibly die because he couldn’t let go of the past). Some plot occurs, Zafir is tracked down by Vesemir and Geralt, they fight and while Zafir is more magically inclined than both of them, Geralt is a bit stronger and eventually bested Zafir, who surrendered, and in the moment realized the path he was going down would have been corrupting at best, deadly and possibly would bring more consequences onto the witchers than necessary. He becomes remorseful, but Geralt and Vesemir forgive him and bring him back to Kaer Morhen, Zafir and Geralt spend the summer in Kaer Morhen together, a bit of mutual pining on both ends but it never passes that because both of them are horrible at communicating (Geralt miles worse than Zafir, but Zafir doesn’t think Geralt will ever feel the same so he swallows his feelings and as the years go on, they are buried deep within.) They do, however, develop a newfound respect for one another. Zafir is pretty quick to defend Geralt after this point, pretty much no matter the situation. Geralt overthinks his own feelings to the point where he convinces himself they don’t exist, and moves on.  Zafir/Yennefer: I am not actually sure if this will come before or after the events with Geralt but I have this one way less thought out but this is a very nice enemies to lovers trope that I couldn’t resist. After Zafir passed his witcher trials, he was accepted into the kingdom of Aedirn and stayed within the province for years. When Yennefer was assigned Aedirn, they met at a royal ball. Zafir hates these events, but was introduced to Yennefer by Aedirn’s king. They danced, both realizing seperately their attraction towards one another. Zafir reacts by just going about his usual courting, but is hit with this indication that maybe he shouldn’t as she seems... dangerous. Yennefer, on the other hand, deals with it by hating him for being so charming. After that event, they kinda have a tense friends with benefits sort of relationship. I feel like Yennefer has a lot of walls and they are not easy to tear down, and Zafir simply doesn’t have the ability to tear those down, mostly due to his pacifist nature. When Yennefer betrays Aedirn some thirty years later, the king asks Zafir to hunt her down, who promptly reminds him he does not involve himself in the political affairs of the nation, and is simply there to provide aid against monsters. Further more, he does not hunt humans and non-humans, as that is strictly against the code of the Griffon. Zafir feels somewhat betrayed as well (perhaps their final conversation ended in an argument or they were just generally on bad terms), and as years pass he looks back on the relationship as toxic and while he doesn’t hate her he certainly doesn’t like her. She has mixed feelings on him but ultimately leaves it behind in search for more power.
Zafir/Jaskier: If you have been reading Feather’s and Flower Petals, you know (;
Of course, Jaskier, Geralt and Yen’s relationship(s) aren’t too cannon divergent. So what brings all four of them together? Well, Jaskier and Zafir already have an established relationship. Then after the events of season two, Yennefer and Zafir make amends. Then Geralt, after some heavy apologizing to Jaskier, enters a relationship with Yennefer and Jaskier. It takes nearly an entire winter but Zafir gets the courage to confess to Geralt, who seems dismissive at first but after some prodding from Yen and Jaskier, eventually opens up too. It takes a while, but they’re able to mend the years of toxicity.
