Takemura Week 2022 - Day 4

The story:

These events take place after The Devil ending.

V chose to remove the relic and didn’t agree to be part of the Secure Your Soul program. However, she changed her mind later and Arasaka agreed to help (so she’s on Earth and not the Space Station).

Turns out Arasaka changed their mind last second too and weren’t going to give her a new body after all, and instead let her die. Takemura decided to save V.

The pics in this post show what happens when Takemura tries to save her. Hopefully stop her from using the Soulkiller, but he’s too late. Her mind’s in Mikoshi and her body is dying, so she dies in the last pic in this post.

Takemura Week 2022 - Day 7

The story:

After part 1, where V dies, Takemura survives because he’s a determined badass.

Here’s the kicker. Takemura didn’t know how to save V, because her body was dying anyway after removing the relic. That’s why he asked Mr. Blue Eyes for help, the most powerful fixer. And that’s when Takemura learned that he’s a rogue AI (we’re all thinking it right?), and that you can upload engrams to robots. He also learned that Arasaka, and other corpos, as well as Mr. Blue Eyes’ “corpo”, create lifelike robots; androids. So Mr. Blue Eyes decided to create a robot for V. He said she’ll owe him, but he didn’t say what she’ll have to do. Takemura agreed. V didn’t have anything to lose anyway.

Mr. Blue Eyes gave Takemura some fancy tech and a V body.

When Takemura finds V her body’s already dead. He then goes guns blazing and enters Mikoshi to save her. He greets V and Johnny (he didn’t go with Alt. Another Arasaka AI stopped him because they had plans for him of course). Takemura tells V the plan and says goodbye, and V learns that he’s dying. V tells him to use the Soulkiller and that she’ll save him. He agrees. Right after Takemura drowns.

V says goodbye to everyone, Johnny hugs her for the first time lol. She’s determined to save both of them.

The last pics show V waking up in a new robot body that Takemura helped set up. He left his katana, his favorite haiku book and flowers. <3
