That medical, combiner team is at it again! Here come the Medicons!

Saw my Dentacon and Ironhide silly scribble comic from months ago make the rounds again a bit and realized I hadn’t drawn my beloved Dentacon in a while. So here he is!

My beasts I haven’t drawn in forever… How I’ve missed them… Medicons beloved…

Could you share some Medicon lore/character facts?? I must know more about them all!

The Medicons are a Decepticon repair and combiner team! They combine into a hearse, with Opticon making up the back wheels, Sensicon being the front wheels, and Dentacon being the heavily armored body of the car. Their combined form calls itself Offline and uses it/its pronouns.

Dentacon is the tall, imposing leader of the team. Always a bit too happy. Always a bit too…giggly. Or maybe that’s just the gas that helps fuel him leaking out. Who’s to say! He’s very slow moving, but certainly a force not to take lightly. With heavy duty armor and strong cables for grappling beneath his chest armor, once he catches you, you’re done! And the smog that surrounds him when he’s angry certainly isn’t something to ignore. That said, he usually isn’t one to seek out conflict. But he will finish it. And without mercy if needed.

Opticon is spunky, loud, excitable, jumpy, and just about every cute adjective in the book! And she’s also one of the most accurate shots with any blaster Cybertron has ever known. Good luck getting out of her line of sight! She’s tricky and trigger happy and the most talkative of the group! She’s a girl who loves to have fun! And if you get on her bad side, you can bet she won’t mess up her perfect shot streak taking her revenge.

Sensicon is sneering, rude, grumpy, and overall unpleasant. Slinking away from sight, they prefer to cling to the shadows and in any nook or cranny they can wiggle into. They have a nasty record of starting problems with others and finishing them with violence if whoever it is won’t back down. They’re unsettling on purpose, crawling up walls and contorting into space spaces. It doesn’t help others relax to know that they keep dozens of remote controlled, severed hands with them. Others may wonder why Sensicon has such a mean streak, but the only answer they ever gave about it was for others to “mind their business unless they want to be added to it”.

Is Dentacon capable of not smiling? Does Dentacon ever desire to not smile?

His mouth can basically only slide open and shut and can’t emote beyond his signature grin. But he doesn’t really think about it. He did notice he’s very different from a lot of Cybertronians in that way but also plenty of Cybertronians lack a mouth or cover theirs. He expresses his feelings just fine, so he really doesn’t care that he can’t emote with his mouth. Plus, he has a real winning smile :D

Day 22! This was yesterday’s prompt. Can’t believe I almost forgot. And I even created Dentacon yesterday! He’s perfect for this prompt!

You know, I didn’t realize how much people would enjoy the Medicons and very specifically Dentacon. But I love him dearly, so I’m not complaining.

Here’s him in his “Exhaustion Armor”. He does get scarier, yes.

I need to know is Ironhide still a coffee table?

Someone needs to go help him.

Does Dentacon sing?

Mostly to himself. He’s a bit shy to do it very loud.

Height comparison of the denticons to bumblebee?

Dentacon is actually quite a lot larger compared to the other Medicons. His body makes up the vast majority of their combiner hearse form. With Sensicon as the front wheels and bumper and Opticon as the rear wheels and bumper.

The Medicons really help each other. Opticon and Sensicon help Dentacon with moving around fast. And Dentacon’s sturdy armor protects them in their alt or by just letting them duck behind him.

Is there a decepticon or autobot who fucked around and found out with the medicons

Reflector, I need you to stop referring to the incident reports as "Hot Gossip".

But the Medicons can be rough to interact with. The first time especially. Dentacon rarely means irreversible harm. Even with Autobots. He's certainly intimidating, but his strategy in battle is always incapacitation over damage. Sensicon and Opticon are much less level headed. Sensicon loves to battle and Opticon is very "blast first ask later" in response to stress. So they can get out of hand pretty fast just in general.
