i think i need 2 start eating eggs again i need the protein so badly im so protein deficient but im also not passionate enough about my personal state of health and wellbeing to put it over my moral qualms w animal agriculture. i should get my own chicken

#i try to eat a lot of legumes and stuff but its nawt enough and theres nothing i can really have for breakfast that has protein in it bc i #have a soy intolerance and i dont like oats and i have a really sensitive stomach and a small budget etceteraaaa #and i think my lack of protein is a big part of the reason im so tired and stuff all the time bc other than that i eat p well and balanced.

A Seven Days Before Valentine Rant

Casual Watcher goes BRRRRT at the colour and naming schemes. I AM SAYING CASUAL BECAUSE some of this is just very "Mar's Theories" and may not actually fit completely with the show. TL;DR: Not just colours, ok mostly colours. BUT ALSO WEATHER!? Ok I'll go back to LITA again. Sorry.

There Are Spoilers Literally Right Away. Tread with Caution. Also it's tangenty and very everywhere. To Start: Hi~ I'm Mar. I'm an Art Historian/Conceptual Artist and Researcher. We must protect Q and Jared. There is a big Colour-Coding conversation about the blues and reds/whites, greys and blacks of this drama.. Which I am here for. Sun = Red, Starts in Black Clothing eventually ascends into white. Q (Sky) = Blue, starts in white eventually descends (Jared?!) into greys and then eventually touches on black. For the Black to White Changing I'm just gonna add that I love the diversity of greys in Everyone's clothing in this. "Why must there be black and then white? There must be ups and downs." -- To quote the song at the end of 7 Days Before Valentine. I know there are a lot of Biblical things about this floating around and I'm here for it. Esp with Jared being named Jared. But I won't cover that much. Just mentioning too that Q is Q for Cupid. Teehee. As I say this and my screenshots of choice are:

Something clicked in me at the Q's real name drop at the end of the series. (Which aforementioned is Sky). Sunshine said: "Erase everything that stops me from loving Rain.." Rain took away Sunshine's love and will to do his job: shine in the Sky. So in turn, Rain was erased because Sunshine couldn't do his job or love Rain because Rain just covered him up in clouds.

With cloud-cover/Rain in Sunshine's way, Sky(Q) was the only one given Sunshine's light (wearing white). Sunshine wearing black to show he is being blocked out by Rain's clouds. Rain loved the Air because the water cycle has to do with the air. However Air is a molecule, and there is a lot of Air. Whereas for Sunshine there is only one Sun. So he was never an option to disappear from the world. Sky was aware of Sunshine because you can't have a sky without the Sun. However Rain blocked him from his happiness. Sky was erasing every request/cloud that got in the way of Sunshine's light, that includes Rain (not on purpose and also by request of Sunshine). However, Sunshine took time to notice how much work Sky was doing for him. As Sun heals and comes to realizations, Sunshine became warm.

Sky takes on the storm clouds that Rain left Sunshine blocked behind so he is in the black when he left, the black we met Sunshine in. I mean. Not that Sunshine is ever in pitch-black. His black always has a heathering to it.

Q/Sky being dreary and upset also always had dark grey backgrounds like clouds. If Sunshine is off-screen you only see a haze of his golden tones but the background is always off-blue grey otherwise. Later in the show (like Episode 11) is my favourite to show gloomy Sky. Whenever Sunshine is in the same screen a golden hue of sunlight is added.

In the same scene, when Q has some sort of hope. Like. Sunshine says "I want to take care of you" Sky's black comes off as grey.

ALSO JUST.. FOR.. ADDITIONAL FUN.. Jared's name means "Rose" or "to Descend". His name is biblical. He also is generally in whites, reds greens and blues.

Look it these twooo~. Protect themmmm!

Just want to add some quotes: "Look at the sky, at the stars." -- Sky/Q "Romantic Kid?" -- Sunshine "I had nothing to do. So I watched the stars in the sky. I became interested in the solar system. I searched for the answers to everything. I wanted to know how we exist on this Earth in this Universe." -- Sky while staring at the Sun.

In the story of Q as a human: "The morning mist and the first light of day was what he remembered." "Icarus" - Sunshine to Sky's story about how when Q was Sky (alive, a human) he worked so diligently and hard to become a scientist and left behind his father. He fell hard and fast. Sky said. Icarus. Sky: I'm close to Sunshine now, will my wings melt? Sunshine: Not yet.

"Q!?" -- Both of them yelling it at each other in episode 12. Hello both were each other's Cupids!?. Also teehee colour coding. Look at that golden colour and them wearing whites and blue.

Honestly why do I hear people still talking about the aunt jemima rebranding and how “ridiculous” it is? Firstly it was years ago and second I KNOW you were not that attached to the mammy character. Chill the fuck out.

#I hate Florida #also my own family complains about it and we’re black people!!!!!!#and honestly even if you don’t like their reason you have to agree that it’s still an understandable one #like yeah getting rid of a brand character because she has roots in racist ideas is like. completely rational #in what world is that ridiculous #also. y’all would not be talking about it still if it were for a completely different reason #like if they said they just wanted a fresh start or something #I also hear the same shit about land o lakes removing their Native American character #I never heard anyone talking about OTHER rebrandings for more than 5 minutes #like if they ended up getting rid of the Quaker Oats guy people would be like ‘awww they got rid of him :(‘ and then continue shopping #but NOOOO I went t9 the store with my dad recently and he was loudly complaining about how they get rid of aunt jemima #and MULTIPLE PEOPLE came and were like ‘yeah it’s ridiculous right??? they’re so stupid for that’#THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD DRAW A FUCKING CROWD #ITS SYRUP FOR GODSAKES #I just had to rant I’m so fucking tired of hearing about this shit #there’s no fucking way you care that much about some black lady on the pancake syrup. no fucking way

already hungry enough to make lunch after making myself a second breakfast an hour and a half ago knowing im also gonna need to have a before dinner snack so i can have energy to make dinner where ill most likely not even have leftovers to save for lunch like i used to anymore and then also maybe an after dinner bowl of cereal and havin to make all this food not to mention seeing the amount of silverware n dishes im goin through and and and

i get sooo worried about going off my adhd meds, but honestly i feel like i sometimes exaggerate how bad my adhd is because the last time i was unmedicated for a long period of time (right before i was diagnosed) i was also literally suicidal and had severe anxiety which uh. definitely exacerbated the lack of focus 🫠

#like. i'm unfocused and fidgety and i keep losing my phone and i'm sooo tired #but it's nowhere near as bad as 2021. i'm getting my work done (albeit slowly) & responding to emails #i used my extra free time this morning to practice piano for literally almost an hour???#idk. the amount of work i'm getting done today is not up to my normal standards but it's not NOTHING #there were soooo many days in 2021 where i literally got NOTHING done #i think i'm also better at coping lol. like i KNOW i can't focus on things for a long time so i switch tasks #today i'm interspersing my work with cutting piece for a new quilt i'm working on lol #i also did laundry!!! and picked up oat milk & treated myself to a panini from my local deli #i got an email this morning that my labwork is in so i should be able to meet with my new doctor this week and get back on meds #i have 3 pills left but i'm saving them just in case #i'm worried because i was off my meds for like 4 days before my drug test so i tested negative for amphetamines #so i'm worried they're gonna accuse me of selling them or something #but it's all good. i keep a very detailed medication log in my bullet journal. i have Evidence™#(me: i'm not that adhd / also me: writes an entire novel in the tags of this post)#m.txt

Only ended up staying an hour & a half ish over. And I got food, so things could be worse

WOW I am very tired though

#speculation nation #realized... i cant really go to sleep early...#bc theres actually not a supervisor there rn lol. just a more experience employee #i gave her a rundown of supervisor stuff to do at close & told her to call me if she needed any help #so. i need to stay awake for another 3 ish hours...#usually not a problem but im that level of tired where i kinda do just wanna fall into bed lol #gotta stay strong... for oat milk girl...#/ slay girl lol. it's that employee.#it wasnt a busy friday at least. that was my primary concern.#another employee came in so they got 3 people. they'll probably be fine.#but i cant help but worry lol. and so i will be available just in case she needs help.#i do need to shower. but i will try to make it a quick one i guess #and then.. maybe i could game?? or watch critical role...#probably dont have the brain for writing rn. hoo boy.#i'll figure it out lol
