There are really multiple theories about this special tree going around on the internet.....It's name is the Party Tree, the exact place where Bilbo had his 111th birthday party and as I quess every party in the Shire, BagEnd happens near this tree.
And I wonder, Is the Party Tree, the Oak tree that grew from the exact acorn that Bilbo brought back from the quest with the dwarves?
Peter Jackson had us to believe so, but there is a deleted scene from The Battle of the Five Armies, where Bilbo Baggins plants the acorn in Dale to cheer up Bard and the hopeless people of the Lake-Town. 🏔🏔🏔
Someone said that maybe he had 2 acorns (what's the chance that he picked up 2?), one he planted in Dale,one in the Shire. Others that he only planted the same and only acorn in the city. (P.J. really plays with our own thoughts and desires by cutting that scene)
However Tolkien never mentioned the acorn in the book, only mentioned the Party Tree (which means it was always there)that was chopped down when Saruman invaded the Shire, a sight that brings Sam to tears. Seems of a great importance to the Hobbits this tree.🌳🌳🌳
And yes acorns grow into majestic Oak trees symbolizing loyalty, bravery, strength, good luck, happy marriage, love, and power, it's the king of the forests growing all mighty, stable and grounded. 😏Does this remind you of someone?😏
And is that the same under which Frodo is sitting in the beggining of the Fellowship of the Ring?🤔🤔🤔

pokemon theory i just thought of: new pokemon appear in the pokemon universe when they're designed in this one. they're created ex nilho but they have retroactive realness; they weren't here yesterday, but today they've always existed.
pokemon researchers have had to suss this out on their own over decades, and it's a really unpopular theory, made worse by the fact that no one can come up with a better one. from their perspective pokemon generate spontaneously but in both chronological directions, and the similarities of many pokemon seem to be detived from a conscious and creative understanding of the world--their world, though? what other world could there be?. there are ice cream pokemon and pokeball pokemon and sword pokemon and trash bag pokemon.
there are so many pokemon with both wings and a beak. is this like swords? is there an ur-flying type that this class evokes? there are so many canine pokemon. but what is a canine? is there such a thing? there's only one set of sword pokemon, right. one tea-set line. is *feline* a coherent category? would the ur-feline have two legs or four? why do so many pokemon have humanlike bodyplans-- but then again, why so few?
pichu has always been the prior form of pikachu. why didn't it get counted in order? why do we call it that instead of saying pikachu is the middle evolution of the pichu line? why can so many trainers remember finding this out well into their journeys? why didn't ash start with one?
this is why pokemon researchers do a lot of labwork, drink heavily, and use ten year olds for field research. you can't have an existential crisis if you don't even know what time is yet.

Ik halsin was a last minute addition but I kinda wish he had a full romance route ngl. Like. He's not normally my type of man but I am not immune to his treetrunk arms, kindhearted gentle trustworthiness, and stupid whittling of wooden ducks. The old worn sadness in his eyes. The burden of unwanted leadership. The hundreds of years of work to correct a past percieved mistake. The unending compassion for literally everyone, but esp children & the tiefling refugees. The wanderer and free spirit who, without giving up his freedom, finally finds a purpose, a reason to stop wandering, a devoted goal for his heart. He's SAFE and KIND and I like that in a man.

MAC PROPAGANDA
(aka my cat is gonna be in @irlcats-bracket and y'all had better vote for him) (his poll isn't out yet but it will be soon)
this is maccabee, aka mac. he is a weird little man (affectionate).
here are several reasons you should vote for mac:
1) he's a handsome little dude.
look at him! not a single bad angle. he's perfect.
2) he likes sitting in strange places.
this includes: inside of boxes,
"inside" of boxes,
on top of boxes,
inside of boxes that he shouldn't be in,
and assorted other places such as ladders, my college laundry bag, my dad's tool bags,
my mom's important files, the top of my bookshelf, and this specific stair.
3) he likes chewing on the tops of pineapples.
no joke, he is the reason we can't have pineapples in the house. if we buy a pineapple we have to either put it out on the porch until we cut it up, or chop the top off (as seen in the middle image). otherwise he will chew the leaves up and then vomit them up somewhere in the house.
4) he has a very nice smile :)
5) we have both a blanket and a pillow with his face on it.
(the blanket is my mom's; my dad made it for her because it's funny and then i made a bunch of transparent images to add to the corners because what's better than a dozen pictures of the cat? two dozen pictures of the cat. the pillow is mine because i cannot keep mac in a college dorm.)
6) i am not above bribery.
if you send me proof that you voted for him, i will send you a photo that has not appeared on my tumblr before. as of today, 8/24/2023, i have 1,368 photos of him, from december 2012 to the present. you can specify a month and year and i can get you one.
UPDATE for the finals: my mother has agreed to write messages on notecards and take photos of mac with them. if you would prefer a customized note instead an older photo, let me know. (that being said, it might take longer because i have to have my mom take the photos and she does have work and stuff)

I honestly think it’s way sexier when guys get flustered and embarrassed when I make a move on them. It’s so hot when they get all pink and can barely look at me, that way I can make them look at me.
