Valentine's lunch at @the_hills_hideaway off Dickson Street in Fayetteville. I saw their menu online which featured a nice selection of elevated bar food and decided it would be a fun stop for our day date. My husband and I were happy with everything we ordered including the lunch special featuring crispy wings and juicy pork shanks tossed in a delicious honey Cajun sauce (that stuff should be bottled). We also tried the birria steamed buns app and a bowl of rich French onion soup. It was the perfect warm and comforting meal for the cold and windy day! To end our meal, our server recommended the crème brûlée (which she kindly topped with a Valentine's chocolate covered strawberry) and it was a delicious and decadent final touch.
