What do you think...

Vs. DJ Subatomic Supernova Heaven Studio Mix (v 0.1)
So, I remade my original Vs. DJSS mix in Heaven Studio. Actually, I've been sitting on this for a while, but tumblr just didn't want to upload the video for whatever reason.
Since HS doesn't have every game from this mix in it yet, I had to do some substitutions. Of note, Sick Beats was replaced mostly by Fireworks and Launch Party and I had to change the last game, but the original "joke" is still intact.
I didn't do too much with the visuals (except the very last part), and the skill star is messed up, so I'm not going to release the playable version until I get all that fixed. I'd really like there to be some cleaner transitions between games, and maybe even do some custom graphics. We'll see if either happens.
I finally got the chance to play No Straight Roads, and it’s made me fall even more in love with the game!! The bugs that are on the Switch version might seem pesky to most players, but I think they really heighten my experience!! ☺️
Guys I think Cube might actually be a foxperson (or foxfella as I like to call it)
My proof? Well, firstly we know Cube gains these pointy cat-esc ears after their fight, which leans them into catperson territory
But then you watch them after they get out of water and you notice they shake themselves dry like a dog (unfortunately I couldn't find a gif of this in action [<:<] so if you have a GIF please share it 🥺 /nf)
So this means they're both a dogperson and catperson. And what's in-between a dog and a cat? Fox. Case closed your honor
Now I'm curious what it would be like if DJ Subatomic Supernova and DJ Apotheotic had a ego-off- I mean, friendly competition to see who was better
(place your bets! the ceiling fan or the paperweight?)
If the other side doesn't instigate anything, I think it'd be a pretty tame competition...on the surface, at least. Apotheotic is really committed to the bit of acting like a tolerable professional, so despite any harbored distaste he has for DJ Supermassive Ego, he'd offer every shred of respect and courtesy he can spare. That's part of how Apotheotic climbed his way up to charter status -- "he may be an egotist himself, but look at how cool he is by showing good sportsmanship!"
Any punches he throws toward DJSS would be 'subtle', or as subtle as a guy representing the Hardcore Techno genre can be. He'd let his performance do the talking with its true-to-you motif (ironic, considering his own self-imposed circumstances), and if any of his music offended DJSS, that's surely his own problem! "Y'know what they say: if the shoe fits..."
( ⚠️ Loud sound warning! This song has a very loud and consistent bass kick )
(nono, the "fuck you" part of the music is just a representation of rave rebellion. it TOTALLY has nothing to do with you, DJ Sub Sandwich)
That said, I don't think Apotheotic would win that competition, if there ever was one. Hardcore Techno isn't an easy genre to listen to, especially its less melodic subgenres. I think most of us can agree that a groovy, pumping disco is more accessibly enjoyable than a grinding, rhythm-heavy series of distorted bass kicks (which is the hallmark of most of KK's music).
Plus, he's just overall goofier. KK can't top DJSS' design and godly voice
Likely due to being the first proper boss in the game, DJ Subatomic Supernova has a lot of unused/cut content, including a theme for a nonexistent "approach" level (which can be heard in the "NSR Approach Megamix"), cut voice lines, and no debriefing profile.
While the official twitter has shared what this hypothetical debriefing would have entailed, I don't think the unused art for his profile has ever been posted through a first party source or exists in the game's files.
However, it is viewable in a Steam trading card.
Similarly, DK West, who also lacks a proper debriefing, is a part of this set and thus also has unique art only shown in these trading cards.
Whether this art was drawn specifically for the trading cards or if the art existed prior is currently unknown. (Though I personally suspect the latter.)
