What if the fan technically blew backwards (towards him) just so it could do the hair-in-wind type effect
its a good thing he cut his hair short !

Imma ask u here on tunglr breadboy but
I wonder tho... does Apotheosis KK's fan thing sound LOUD? Like. Dumb loud. Have you seen drones in flight? The fans are NOISY
(I mean if u dont think abt this and his fans are noiseless thats cool too, i just has silly thought)
.
I KINDA FORGOT THEY DID THAT YEAH-
Although, thinking about it, Apotheotic's fan-pack (jetpack but with a fan) might purposely make noise to mimic a loud and bassy under(over?)tone, similar to how other appliances are used in that way in techno music
My design thought behind the fan was to make a "false halo" on Apotheotic's back by way of quickly rotating lights, like one of those spinny light-up toys:
So its function is more visual than practical if anything, with the real fly-work being done by a series of boosters located elsewhere on the pack. You can actually see them in the most recent post here:
Fiction logic aside, Apotheotic would have needed to bend over if he actually wanted to lift off via fan. And...I think any flight attempts would have looked like. well
("the perfect man, lost forever")
Sort of, anyway. Since the fan bit is almost completely for show, probably with blades that aren't even at an angle, it might not blow wind with as much force as a regular giant fan would (and subsequently might make less noise).
I'll have to mull this over a little more because the current design is technically an ongoing work-in-progress, but that was a very good question! Thank you!

I was making good time with this warmup, but when i stopped to think about the mechanics of his hypothetical boss battle, then this became procrastinating hjkhgnjgnm
Once im free from the semester i might come back and elaborate further on some KK things. But for now...heres DJ Apotheotic's 'O' half of his hypothetical 'X / O' mechanic !

I made my own OC meme! :] The goal is to encourage people to think about their characters' word choices in written/spoken dialogue. Blank under the cut!
(the second one is transparent)

Now I'm curious what it would be like if DJ Subatomic Supernova and DJ Apotheotic had a ego-off- I mean, friendly competition to see who was better
(place your bets! the ceiling fan or the paperweight?)
If the other side doesn't instigate anything, I think it'd be a pretty tame competition...on the surface, at least. Apotheotic is really committed to the bit of acting like a tolerable professional, so despite any harbored distaste he has for DJ Supermassive Ego, he'd offer every shred of respect and courtesy he can spare. That's part of how Apotheotic climbed his way up to charter status -- "he may be an egotist himself, but look at how cool he is by showing good sportsmanship!"
Any punches he throws toward DJSS would be 'subtle', or as subtle as a guy representing the Hardcore Techno genre can be. He'd let his performance do the talking with its true-to-you motif (ironic, considering his own self-imposed circumstances), and if any of his music offended DJSS, that's surely his own problem! "Y'know what they say: if the shoe fits..."
( ⚠️ Loud sound warning! This song has a very loud and consistent bass kick )
(nono, the "fuck you" part of the music is just a representation of rave rebellion. it TOTALLY has nothing to do with you, DJ Sub Sandwich)
That said, I don't think Apotheotic would win that competition, if there ever was one. Hardcore Techno isn't an easy genre to listen to, especially its less melodic subgenres. I think most of us can agree that a groovy, pumping disco is more accessibly enjoyable than a grinding, rhythm-heavy series of distorted bass kicks (which is the hallmark of most of KK's music).
Plus, he's just overall goofier. KK can't top DJSS' design and godly voice
