So I just realised something

the sun never rises in Doomwood, right? like, that’s a large part Doomwood’s whole Thing, that it’s always, eternally night. it seems to occasionally hit evening/sunset-ish status around the borders (see: Moonridge) but that’s it

and yet. when Lady Celestia finds Artix. uh.

IT’S DAYTIME AND THE SUN IS THERE

“wandered in the woods for... I do not know how long...” indeed baby Artix. Did you make it all the way to Sunbreeze Grove???

#dragonfable #artix von krieger #now since we see a sunset-colour sky when Artix is chopping wood at the start of the quest #presumably his & Vayle's village was somewhere near the borders like Moonridge is #HOWEVER Artix definitely didn't run straight out of Doomwood #because we know he fled to the east #and east of Doomwood seems to be mountains and then the Sandsea #so he presumably ran deeper into Doomwood and then got turned around at some point #I'm guessing that that's Sunbreeze Grove and not just Generic Greenguard because the hills look right #EXTREMELY funny if Lady Celestia taking Artix in was less her finding him and bringing him home and more him FAINTING AT HER FRONT DOOR
